They were prompt every day. They provided great damage control for the lawn and surrounding areas to the work area. Provided great communication as to the work they were performing. They were very professional at all times. Did everything that was agreed to and them some. This is a class company with great management and employees.

No complaints. Handled Village of Downers Grove compliance very well. Passed inspection. Recommend.

I had called La Mantia for an estimate but had to put off the job until a later. He gave us an estimate with absolute specifics after he talked to us about how he would install the drive and why. He told us he didn't think it would be a good idea to put in a concrete drive since our property was so steep. Was glad for his imput since we were thinking we would prefer blacktop. His reasoning was that we would need a lot of salt to keep from slipping on that steep drive and the salt would ruin the concrete. I had joined Angie's list and looked up La Mantia. I was pleased to see his company had so many A's and that there was a 5% discount for using his service. I called him to let him know we would like him to do the work we previously spoke of and mentioned the 5% discount. I was pleased he was fine with adjusting his original estimate to reflect the discount-quite a savings for us. They advised when they would be able to start and about how many days it would take to complete. They were here on time and completed the blacktop driveway, the concrete walk and stoop and finished off the landscaping clean up in the time they estimated.

I spent about $7000 on the job. They came out right away and gave me an estimate. They put bricks around two trees and installed sod and grass seed in the front and back yards. They did a great clean up when they were done. They are punctual, and are VERY hard workers!!! We are beyond pleased with the outcome! I will use them again in the future. I DID call for a copy of their warranty and Dominic sent it.

Lamantia plowed the condominium parking lot and driveway after the blizzard, taking an hour to plow out 3-4 foot drifts. Later, they sent over a bobcat to move excess snow around into other areas from burgeoning snow piles. Our parking lot has never looked better. Thanks for the great job!

They are very business like in their approach to their work, they gave me an estimate in a timely fashion and they performed the work very well. I was very happy with the job they did. I think they are a reputable company and they performed the work as they said they will, I had no problem with them.

Very prompt, courteous and responsive, both with the initial quote, as well as a revised quote and follow up.

I called for an estimate to repair a crumbling step at the top of a walkway. The first estimate they game me was to replace the whole sidewalk. Since it was for a rental house, I didn't want to do that. They revised the estimate to remove and replace the front step, as well as a small portion of the walkway. Work was done on a timely basis, and looks good.

It went very well. We had to have the quote redone as we wanted to keep our price as close to $5,000 as possible. Dom was able to do this by not using the original Nevada stone for the retaining wall that we wanted but what they used is perfectly fine. They planned to come on June 1st but it rained. They came on June 2nd and had the old patio demolished despite some rain that day. By Wedn the patio was poured. Dom went over everything that they were doing. He brought a carpenter to build a new step to go from the patio to the glass sliding doors into the house. That was the only part of the job that I thought was a little high in price - he also repaired the part of the house that met the concrete before it was poured - that was an additional $200. Overall very pleased with the whole process and end result looks great.

The estimate process did not meet the standards established by the local competition and was responsible for me awarding the contract to another local vendor. - Estimate took over 7 business days to arrive, as compared to standard 1 to 3 business days required for the other companies. - Original estimate was incomplete, and did not include actual dollar values. - When dollar values were received, they were over 97% higher than that I actually paid for the same work to be done.

I called them up and they came out and gave me an estimate. From the time that they gave me the estimate to the end result I changed a couple of things and they were very respectful with my changes and the price quotes were still good. They were very prompt in doing the work and completing it on time. During the installation they consulted with me on a few different things to make sure what was possible and what wasn t. Their workers were very professional and cleaned everything up. They back-filled the dirt and planted grass seed. I really never had to do anything; never had to clean up my yard or put down dirt. They were great and I would highly recommend them.

GREAT! They gave us an estimate and stuck to it. They regraded the driveway. It drains much better. There used to be a lip from the driveway up to the garage. It is now a smooth ramp. They started early one morning and tore up the asphalt. It took longer than anticipated because there was so many layers of asphalt on the neighbor to the north of us. The next day, they laid down the gravel. Then they put down the asphalt. At this point, they took it upon themselves to build up a ramp to the garage, eliminating a lip several inches high. THANK YOU. At the end, they put up barricades, left us instructions on how (and how long) to water it, and when it was safe to drive on it. It had so many layers of asphalt on it that when they relaid the driveway, we could put plastic window wells over the basement windows for the first time since we moved in. I hope the basement will be a little less drafty this year.

THEY WERE SLOW TO RETURN MY INITIAL CALL, BUT I PERSISTED BECAUSE THEY HAD DONE WORK FOR ME IN THE PAST. ONCE THE PROPOSAL WAS SIGNED, I HAD TO WAIT AGAIN FOR THE WORK TO BE SCHEDULED. HOWEVER, THEY ALWAYS DO A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB AND WILL WORK WITH ME TO FIND THE BEST SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM.

WOULD RECOMMEND HIGHLY TO OTHERS; COMPLETED WORK IN TWO DAYS.
