Excellent. He is punctual, honest and detail oriented. If there are any small handyman type repairs, we just call him up and don't bother with getting other quotes anymore. We have worked with him a few times now and we have been happy. He now sort of acts as a quasi consultant. If we don't know the extent of repairs needed, again, we just call him up and ask him for his opinions. If he can do it, he does it. If he cannot, he tells us so. Recommended.

He will come out to do any little odd job that nobody else will bother with. He is the best. A handle came off of my window and I couldn't open and close it, I called the window company and several other companies and nobody would fix it. Bernie came out and fixed quickly and promptly. He is my number 1 person!!

He replaced the ceiling and everything. Over the years he has done many jobs for me, and always does a great job.

He has a lot of experience and was able to make knowledgeable, honest suggestions. Bernie is very easy to work with, reasonably priced and extremely good at his job. I would not hesitate to call him the next time I need work on my house.

When my son tried to fix the leak and couldn't, Bernstein tried to talk him through it on the phone. When my son was still unable to fix, Bernstein came out on a Sunday morning, fixed it quickly and charged reasonably.

He is just superb. He is a real problem-solver, and he cares about the quality of his work on a level that is really exemplary. He is extremely knowledgeable and eager to please the customers, and I have been very happy with his services.

Bernie was punctual, professional and courteous. During his initial visit, he spent quite some time going over my list of jobs and gave me ideas and suggestions that I could do myself to save costs, as well as telling me upfront when the cost of a repair would be excessive. He arrived on time as scheduled and all work was completed with perfection. I had wanted to replace the baseboards in my bathroom due to their bad shape, but Bernie convinced me that he could make them look like new for much less cost, and again, he came through and they look great. I can't say enough about his work, and having had quite a few bad repair jobs done throughout my house in the past, it was just WONDERFUL finally finding someone that I could trust that did such great work, who was also looking out for the bottom line for his customers, which is rare. Try him, you won't regret it.

Overall they did a fantastic job. It took them about three hours, which I thought was pretty quick. After they were finished they cleaned up very well. I was extremely satisfied.

He was extremely courteous and fair priced and had a superb quality of work. He had consistent follow up as well. This was an excellent all around home works repair. We've used him many times in the past. He estimated the job at about $3,000 and said this would be the worse-case scenario. He tried to save material and all decisions were made on cost. He was able to bring the final cost in at 1/3 of estimated cost.

Bernie is excellent, if you hire him you can be sure that the job will be done right. I would use him again for future service and would also recommend him to others.

Bernie's a nice guy and it's too bad I couldn't work with him. He just didn't seem skilled enough to do the job. He seemed uncertain about how long it take him to replace doors and what it would entail. For instance, when I asked for a new transition for two floors at different levels he said he would take some molding to custom-make the transition out of oak but he would first "practice" in pine.

He is fabulous. He just knocks himself out. He is very conscientious and always calls right back.

I spent days desperately looking for someone to get a dead skunk out of one of our window wells. The smell was awful and we couldn't reach it ourselves. I called Bernie and asked if he would help out. He came out the next day, pulled the disgusting carcass out, carried it to the woods behind our house and buried it. He was pleasant, helpful, and I could not believe how little he charged me for the work! We were very pleased, and I will definitely hire him again for a bigger and less disgusting job.

I greatly appreciated Bernie advising me to call a company that specializes in countertops due to the fact that mine would have to be cut around a sink and rangetop and include a seam. Rather than accept a job that he didn't feel comfortable with, he gave me his honest opinion. I was very impressed and will keep his name and number for future work.

He was fabulous! Bernie got here on time, fixed my door, charged me less than the estimate and it's in great working order. I would use him again in a heartbeat. He also gave me some other ideas about other ways to fix it but was honest about the scope of the things he could do. I really appreciated his honesty. We'll use him again for anything else that breaks in our house!

We had a broken window handle. I was so happy to find "Bernie" because I had tried a few other people and NONE of them could do one thing. Bernie found out the maker of the handle and window - with research and ordered the handle and installed it. I had been trying to find someone to do the job for 5 months and when I found Bernie it was all done in a matter of a week - he came to look at the window - he ordered the handle and installed it promptly and neatly. Homeworks by Bernie, was a pleasure to hire and I would not hesitate to hire him again should the occasion arise. He was either punctual in showing up at my house or he called to tell me that he was going to be late. I discussed three jobs with Bernie and I hired him to do some caulking and a replacement of a broken tile. In discussing the other job with Bernie, it was determined that I was doing all I could to alleviate the problem so I didn't hire Bernie for the third job. I appreciated Bernie s openness in discussing all my problem areas. In the grouting and replacement of a broken tile, Bernie was a professional in completing his job and thoroughly cleaned up after himself.

He is prompt, professional, responsive and will go above and beyond the call.
