Description of Work: My bathroom ceiling was in total need of replacement! Plaster above the ceiling was falling in the bathroom along with the mess created in the bathtub. My husband and I checked Patchboys they had a nearly perfect positive reviews!. Kevin from Patchboys inspected the ceiling and estimated the job would be $450.00 including painting the ceiling too! This was a great price! Kevin gave me the impression he was going to perform the work. Not was not the case!. Nelson from their office was the individual for the repair work. Only Nelson appeared for our appointment! Their were huge pieces of drywall to complete the job for the ceiling. My husband helped Nelson carrying the huge chunks of drywall in our condo shopping card several times. Nelson never thanked my husband for all the work he helped for Nelson! The job lasted about six hours. Nelson notified me in my condo the work was performed. I too had to help Nelson with his supplies twice from the basement of the condo to the fourth floor we do have an elevator in our condo. A few minutes later I inspected the bathroom!. My drain was full of tiny paint or drywall pieces!!!!!!. I immediately called the office and Kevin kept insisting nelson was still around not in my condo! Aggravation was increasing not to mention this horrible stress combined with anger from myself! Nelson returned back and vacumed the drain. I asked him why he had not done this before he left!. He just kept saying he was sorry!. There were small pieces plaster or drywall on the bathroom floor! When Nelson left he never cleaned the mess in the bathroom from his work on the ceiling. Dirty water he saw he just placed his foot in!. Patchboys emphasizes they are responsible for all cleaning after their work is performed. No Way!.. It was a awful experience! Yes Nelson did perform the job well. The bathroom ceiling was painted and re-plastered weil. However last nite while taking a shower the whole shower fell on me while showering. My husband had taken a shower about twenty minutes prior. However the shower rod was totally warped!. The shower pool was completely bent out of shape. I realize I cannot fully blame nelson but he was in the bathroom as I mentioned nearly six hours in the bathroom working on the ceiling!. It certainly seems reasonable that he had bend the shower pole! out of shape!. I would have appreciated nelson telling me that fact. I was very lucky I never suffered any serious injuries. Nelson had absolutely no idea of how to use my credit card for payment. He had a difficult time speaking to Kevin. I had to explain how to process the credit card for payment. Kevin has all my credit card info. I called my credit card company to cancel my credit card after the payment to Patchboys. I do not trust them after this episode and their lousy attitude towards me. I noticed in all the so call positive reviews Kevin performed all the jobs for repairs including other repair work!. I called Kevin and he gave no answer. DO NOT EVER USE PATCHBOYS Spend extra bucks you might safe yourself aggravation and huge stress!. Their descriptions of quality work obviously did not apply to me!. Kevin insists all his employees are FIVE STARS! Stay Away From this company. I know you will thank me!
