Initially, I had taken my car to this company to fix a "knocking" sound in my car. They made the repairs and also replaced other various parts. A few days later, the tire that he had replaced had gone flat. I reached out to him just to explain that the tire went flat. I know that sometimes parts can be defective and even considered that there could be some sort of error on my fault, for which I was more than willing to pay. I called his company to explain the problem that had come up a few days later, and to my surprise HE. CURSED. ME. OUT. He also called me a liar several times, saying that it was my fault for many, if not all of the problems that were arising. He refused to have a decent conversation with me. Once I paid to have the car towed in, he ended up fixing the problem for free (which was interesting, seeing as to how it was "my fault"). Also, the car was covered in mud when we got it back. Typically, when I get tires changed, the service people will wipe down excess dirt and grime to make sure the job was done correctly, but these guys gave the car back covered in mud.

I don't like giving bad reviews but I'm really disgusted with some of these car repair shops and want to warn those who may not know much about cars. I'm very concerned as far as how the car repair service industry treats women customers. Women most of the time get nickel and dime on the price and end up getting charged more than men customers. This is assume that women don't know much about cars in this case I do not know much about cars but I do know how to research. I'm trying not to go to the dealership for they are the worst offenders of screwing customers over. First, diagnosing the check engine light was pretty high when I could get that done for free. In which I had found out when I got a second opinion on my check engine light. Their policy on if the price of diagnostics will be deducted or added on if I choose them to do the work is not clear before I received the diagnosis. The guy that did the diagnosis gave a long spill about why I have to charge for diagnostics and how it is common sense for him to charge the fee regardless, which wasn't necessary. Clearly at that point he could take advantage of the situation when service was already done. From my experience there are places that will deduct the diagnosis fee if you choose to elect to get the work done through them. After the diagnosis, he explained his findings stating that he wasn't sure if it's the catalytic converter or the sensors. So he recommended that I replace the sensors first in which there are two of them. He stated that one was bad but how it works is that if you replace one sensor then you would need to replace the other because they must be installed in pairs. At that point, I became really skeptical. Matter of fact, I became skeptical when he wasn't sure which part needs to be replaced. The total amount for the sensors were about $200 each. I decided to go do my own research, those sensor are not $200. They were half that price. Another thing that I needed done was the flex pipe that is attached to the catalytic converter in which he stated that he wouldn't be able to do for it would need to be wielded in and he doesn't do wielding work. Therefore, I ended up going to another place. They replaced my flex pipe and stated from the diagnosis (diagnosis was free by the way) that a code came up for a bad catalytic converter. I asked them about sensors and they said that there weren't a code that came up for the sensors. I was so glad that I went to to another place. They were very transparent and saved me from spending a lot more money for unnecessary parts and labor. They did the diagnostic right in front of me and told me right away what was wrong. Alpha had to research after doing the diagnosis. Don't know if it's Alpha's lack of experience with Catalytic converters or if this guy was out to milk me for my money. Regardless, I didn't feel comfortable of the service that I received from that place. Although the lady receptionist is very nice, the guy that did the diagnosis didn't do me any justice with the service. I hope this help for those that are in similar situation.

The auto provider was very satisfactory but I was very suspicious of his prices. What he did was okay. He said where there was a grinding noise when it went down and didn't stop too quickly so he looked it over quite thoroughly and he gave us a series of five sheets and each one was increasing in price. It went up such that the last price was over a thousand dollars. The car is still making noises and not behaving as it should. I didn't feel confident or that this was appropriate. They were very responsive and they did it right then and there.

The breaks in my car were not working well, so I took it into Alpha Auto for an estimate. The owner was able to explain to me exactly what was wrong, what needed to be replaced/repaired and why. Work was done quickly and the breaks work perfectly. Also, I notice a big difference in how the car rides (due to the replacement of the shocks). Customer service was great. They are very friendly and personable. Not only will I be a repeat customer whenever repairs are needed to my vehicles, but I would recommend them to anyone!

Called the business the week prior to set up an appointment. The lady was very polite and upfront about availability. Told she would return call. Next day, early, she called to schedule. I asked for a day the following week and she said they would squeeze me in. Dropped vehicle off at allotted time. Explained concerns and Desires to Robert. A couple hours later I was called and given the damage. I was impressed with the attention to detail and effort to minimize cost and extend the life of the car. I have a new car doctor

I could not be happier with all of the work provided by Alpha Auto Repair. Robert is absolutely amazing! He not only transformed my poorly performing 10 year old Saturn into a smooth and enjoyable ride, but all of the work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price. Both Robert and Lisa were extremely kind and helpful in making my car repair experience one of the best. They are truly "dedicated to providing personalized service". Car runs smoothly . I'm very happy with the work that was done. I have taken my honda to Alpha in the past to replace a head gasket and was happy with the work performed as well. Robert and Lisa are very good at what they do in regards to explaining the problem with the auto and steps that will be taken tp repair it. Just as important, they are very good in contacting you to give updates of how the work is proceeding and to also inform you of any delays.I would recommend Alpha Auto Repair to all my friends and family.

I have been looking for a personalized auto repair company for a while. I have been very displeased with all of the dealers and larger auto repair places. At Alpha it was a different matter. You are treated like a person, not a number. Besides repairing the emission problems Robert gave me a list of other areas that needed attention with fair estimates and ranking of importance. Even though I could chose a repair shop closer to me I will go the extra miles and always take my car here. And besides all that I fell in love with his dog.

My car died 9/24 and brought it in on 9/25 for them to fix it and they helped me immediately. They are the nicest and most honest people that I have ever been able to work with. I would recommend them to anyone! I could go on and on about all of the positive things about this company and they've helped me so many times. This is the best place that I've come to and just ask for Rob or Lisa and they'll do an above and beyond job!

Robert and Lisa, were very professional with the estimation process. They worked with me on my suspension repair and gave me a very good price on parts. I know the price was good because Ipriced the parts myself. They worked with me on making a extended warrenty repair as well. They chareged me and then faxed for payment on remaining portion for my axle repair. Robert was very paitinet with me and my needs. I am so releived I replaced my struts and my axle. I really needed all the repairs at once.

It has been over 48 hours since I called, described the problem with the car, advised will call back with a quote - no call, no voice mail left. Overall, LOUSY - lacking professionalism.

The service is excellent every time I take my car in. Nobody else could figure out the problems with my car until I brought my car here. They are very thorough, he shows you exactly what they are going to do, and the service always exceeds my expectations. He goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to others.

I called him to make an appointment and I got there before the appointment. The door said he opens at 8:00. I got there before 9:00, but I tried the front door and it was locked. It was about 9:15 before he showed up. He gave me a diagnostic for my vehicle and did not give me a discount, even though the article said he would give seniors a discount. He said he thought the hoses were blocked up. He gave me an estimate for both services that might need to be done. I made an appointment for the next Saturday, and it was the same situation where he was about 10 minutes late this time. I think he put my car on the back burner while he worked on other people's cars. I think he prolonged my job. The whole job was a little over 300 dollars. I will not take my car back to him since he was too expensive and since he helped regular customer more than he did me.

Excellent, very personable, honest, did not feel he was taking advantage of situation- just great customer service. Will deal with again. It doesn't get much better for a mechanic.

Because it was a mid year model, the part that was sent to Aplha was for the wrong year. The owner ended up ordering the factory part from Lexus which arrived the next day and by 11:00 my car was ready for pick up. In addition to fixing my car, I was given a list of other repairs my car needed to be safe, in priority order but was never pressured into getting those repairs done immediately.

Several hoses and parts on the car engine needed replacement. While doing the work, the owner of the company went to several places looking for one of the parts that needed replacement. He was unable to find the part in stock and ordering it would require a considerable delay in finishing the repair. Knowing we needed the car back quickly, he returned to his shop. Using parts from his shop, he was able to build the part we needed. Not only was he able to complete the repair as estimated, but the cost of the part he made was less than he would have paid for the part if he had ordered it. He passed this savings on to us. We got the car back in the time estimated and the final cost for repairs was less that the original estimate. Not only did they do the repair, but they also took the time when we went back to pick up the car to point out other areas that will need repair and provide estimates of how soon those repairs will be necessary.

My appointment was for 8 am Saturday morning. They did not arrive to the shop until 830 am. Rough start.The service was to inspect the vehicle for location of oil leakage. Plus inspect vehicle for possible visual inspection of fuel leakage. They performed the nspection of vehicle and found an oil leak seen from behind the timing belt covers. Needed to remove the the timing belt cover to inspect closer. Suspected worn cam and crank seals. Injected dye into the engine of the car to determine where the leak(s) were. Also, they degreased the engine. I received an estimate of $1800 to repair. Since the car is 20 years old, I asked if I could leave the car until Monday afternoon when I could pick it up. They said no problem. This conversation took place after the normal Saturday closing time. On Monday I came to pick up my car. When I tried to start it, it wouldn't. First time in 20 years. They assisted and got the car started. I began to drive away but the car stalled as I was exiting the parking lot. I could not re-start the car and had to call the motor club for a tow home.

I ordered the repair to the brakes and he immediately went to work. My brakes were done and I was out of there in no time. The brakes work great! Just in this first visit I felt confident that I found Rob to work on my car and that it was in good hands. I did make another appointment to have the rest of the jobs completed at a later date.

I dropped off my car at the shop the night before and left it there for three days. I wanted to get everything done at once even though Rob had said I could do the repairs a few at a time if I wanted to. This was the second time I had my car at Alpha Auto and other repair shop, except Rob, had never told me that I should replace parts in my car that was over 10 years old. Since I know nothing about car repair I depend on the service men who to advise me. I always emphasized the fact that I want to keep my car for a long time and don't have money for costly repairs. Rob gave me a quick course in auto repair 101. He explatined that the car would handle better and save gas on mileage if you follow the guidelines of your make of car. I have over 90,000 miles and it was definitely due for a tune up because since my car is a used car and I bought it 5 years ago, the only repair I ever had were brakes and oil changes. Rob also explained the warranty that I have on the parts and if I ever have a problem anywhere in the US I can get it fixed free of charge. I spent a lot of time with me explaining everything before he actually repaired it. I felt like a valued customer and he addressed any concerns that I had. He said after these repairs I can come in for an an oil change every three months and I'll be good to go. During those three days I called to see how everything was going and actually spoke with Rob. He was always pleasant and gave me an update of where he was with repairs. I was not used to this since the other repair places would never be this punctual or honest with their time management. When I got the car back, it was clean (they had washed it), and the engine looked amazing. He told me that acceleration would be improved and he wasn't kidding! The car drove like it was brand new! Acceleration was so powerful that I told him, "If I get a ticket, your responsible!" I can't tell you how happy and impressed I am by Rob's knowledge about cars and his professionalism. I depend on my car so much and its nice to know that I can count on someone to tell me what my car needs. Even though I spent more money than I expected right know, I know first hand that my car is in great shape now, which will prevent any major problems in the future, thanks to Rob and Alpha Auto Repair. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to keep their car for a long time.

They did an excellent analysis of our vehicle problems and provided a very fair estimate. Their overall service and professionalism is exemplary.

There was a loud sound coming from the back of our '09 Sienna. We set up an appointment and dropped off the car. They determined that the noise was coming from the right rear wheel bearings. They replaced the wheel hub assembly that houses the bearings. Robert and his crew did a great job - as always.
