Elite Finishes

These guys are professional painters! They are detail oriented and do a great job. Painting was done in a timely manner and they were able to work around a flooring crew that was also in the house. When I was originally bidding the project they were the most expensive but also the most up-front and detailed about what they did. Every dollar was worth it with these guys. Chad provided a lot of guidance about sheen type per room and color suggestions. He also provided great project management with his team. I never felt like I was out of the loop. We had many guys come to paint at the house but John was the most consistent. He did a great job communicating what days he would be there and when. These guys are good. Highly recommended!

Chad was very responsive and was able to provide a quote for services in a very timely manner. I had requested quotes from five companies for the service that needed to be completed, and this was the highest price by $700. However, Chad did a far superior job of explaining his services and what his company could offer, and he was very professional. The other companies did not go into near as much detail, and at the end of the day I felt most comfortable with Chad and Elite Finishes being able to complete the job in a timely manner and achieve the results I desired. The quality of their work was amazing. On the day the work was scheduled, Chad and a team of 3-4 painters showed up to complete the work. All the workers were professional, they completed the work that was requested, and the quality was great. I had the work completed in order to help make my home more marketable, and I believe that the work Elite Finishes did greatly helped in that respect. The project took a day longer than anticipated, but the painters continued on my project until it was finished. After they completed their work, I had identified several small items that needed to be touched-up, and Chad was very responsive and quick to address my issues (even though, admittedly, some of the additional work may not have been within the original quote). The onlyother issue I had was with the clean-up after the initial work was completed. There was some dust from some of the sanding that was left on the window sills and the top of the refridgerator, and the floor should have been better cleaned, particularly behind the couch. I opted to clean these areas up myself due to time constraints, although when I raised the issue with Chad he was more than willing to come and clean the areas himself. Overall, the quality of the work and professionalism of Chad's team are good enough that I would have no problem recommending him to my friends and family. While the price was higher than the competition, I do believe the quality of his work was also superior to that of what his competition would have provided. They did an amazing job repainting my house.

The painters showed up on time and put in a full day. They did a good job taping, patching imperfections, cutting in, rolling on the paint and cleaning up after themselves when it was all done. They did a great job with the paint and it turned out amazing! We will definitely use them again!

Chad came out right away to give me an estimate, went into detail on how the job was going to go, how long it should take. I did receive 3 other bids from local painters, Chad was spot on with his quote, he didn't over price me like I had with some other painters. The thing that sold me on Chad was his knowledge of the painting business, his ability to communicate with me. I was very impressed by him and his crew. The crew came every morning on time, did exceptional work. They completed the job, it looks beautiful. I was every impressed with Chad and his crew that I've hired them to come back to do some more painting for me. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Promptly responded to my inquiry, explained the different type of paint finishes, explained the process, was never irritated by my questions. They started the job on time and worked every day including Saturday. You cannot tell where any holes or cracks were very impressive.

We were very impressed from start to finish! We contacted 5 companies from Angie's List for estimates. Chad, the owner of Elite Finishes, was the first to respond and come out - and the only one who spent a good amount of time with us going over the work needed. It was clear he was extremely knowledgeable and also passionate about his workmanship. His company is very experienced working on cedar sided homes - which was important to us. He was confident that he could handle the prep work on the siding and trim without having to do major wood replacement and carpentry (which was a concern of ours), and showed us pictures of similar homes that he had worked on. He offered to put us in touch with his Benjamin Moore rep if we had questions about the products he used. Chad arrived the morning the work started and helped us choose paint/stain colors. A hardworking crew of 5 guys started the job on a Friday, worked through the weekend and finished on Monday - so we were able to take advantage of the warmer, dry weather. One of the guys caught a mix-up in the trim paint color after they started painting and brought it to our attention right away. Chad resolved the issue very quickly and professionally (paint store's error). It was was evident throughout the whole process that his crew take pride and ownership in what they do and it was a pleasure dealing with them. Communication was smooth throughout the project - calls or texts were answered quickly. The house looks fantastic. We would not hesitate one bit to use Elite Finishes again for another project.

Elite Finishes did an excellent job from start to finish. Chad Lottes, the owner, came out on the day I contacted him. He went over all the details of what he proposed to do, and had an estimate to me by the next day. His crew completed the job with no interference to our operations and did an absolutely beautiful job. Our place looks better than it did when it was new! My experience with Chad was stellar! He came to my home and explained went through my home room by room to see what needed to be done. He explained the process from start to finish in great detail. Even though we did not go with him I would definitely utilize his services in the future! He kept in frequent contact with me and was prompt about coming out for the estimate!!

Never showed up, never called back, quite unprofessional

I contacted Elite for an estimate based on the reviews on Angie's List. I did not use their services because the price was higher than I was looking to pay. Chad, the owner, provided the estimate and was the most thorough and detailed person to give a quote. Very knowledgeable and the company clearly offers products and services above the competition. The only reason for me not choosing their company was my unwillingness to pay a higher price. Chad was also the most responsive and easiest person to speak with and reach out to. I would definitely call them back for all future work.

Chad took great care in detailing the required prep work and the quality of the solid color gray stain to be used on our 37 year old cedar sided home. The house was scheduled for a full window replacement which required power washing and shutter removal prior to the start of the new window work. This was accomplished on schedule. Shortly after completion of the window work, full caulking, painting, and reinstallation of shutters and gutter downspouts was completed. Chad's crew did an outstanding, craftsmanship painting job. Special mention should go to the fine detailing of all the white trim throughout.

Chad was very quick to respond to our request for an estimate. His was the highest bid we received but we were impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. He was punctual for that first meeting and he and his painters were on time throughout the job. Scheduling was convenient to our needs. Chad was always responsive to questions and concerns, and was helpful with color selection. He checked on the progress each day and worked one day with his crew. All the work done was of high quality. The painters knew what to do, worked hard, were friendly and respectful. John seemed to be the lead painter, and he was very responsive to our questions and let us know what was being done.. They were able to work with some imperfections in the house construction. Furniture was moved as necessary and put back. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. The wallpaper removal and prep took 2 days. The painting was done in 4 days with a crew of 2-5 painters. New carpet was installed the week after the painting was completed and Chad sent John back for some touch-up spots. We love our new look and color scheme and are very pleased with the job done by Chad and his crew.

This is the second time with have used Chad's company--the first time was to paint our house exterior, and this time to do interior painting. We are completely happy with the results. The crew members were professional and did a great job. Chad is extremely engaged in the job while it's underway, and you can reach him with questions or concerns immediately. I will use Elite Finishes for all our painting needs going forward.

Chad responded quickly to my initial inquiry and was able to provide an estimate a few days later. He gave a thorough explanation of what is painting crew would do, and they exceeded my expectations. The 20-year old walls now look new! Chad was a pleasure to work with and I'm very happy with the results!

Chad's crew did a great job! My closets look brand new. It took longer that they anticipated, but they worked long hours and did a great job. They cleaned up nicely after themselves. I would definitely use them again.

Had trouble with the schedule because of bad weather but they worked well into the evening to get the job done once the weather improved.

I never give anybody an A rating because there is always room for improvement. I am of the belief that you get what you pay for. These guys are not the lowest cost however, the quality of the work was worth the extra cost to me. It went well with respect to performing the work in the time frame that we were told. The work was performed with attention to the details. The workers did the work in the same manner as I would have done it myself. The workers were professional and courteous.

Chad and his crew were very professional. When I questioned a spot, there was no arguing - they fixed it. When they painted my ceiling there was still something wrong and they came back without hesitation and fixed it. They are definitely one of the better painters around and I plan on using them in the future! While they were the most expensive quote, they were definitely worth it.

Looked great, very timely, helped me with color choice. I appreciate the help and suggestions with color choice. I was so happy with the exterior it went from a gray to a mushroom color, looked great!

The guys were nice friendly and neat. The crew was in and out within a few days. Chad the owner is very responsive. Chad is friendly and personable and will work with you. I called him over the holidays to come and paint and then put him off two months because we got a puppy. Chad was very accommodating.

His crews were punctual, polite, and professional. Some work had to be deferred due to need for carpentry work required; but all possible work was completed B 4 temps were below 45*F. I was very pleased with performance. Only disappointment was his failure to remove ladders from our back yard B 4 the snows fell. I would use them again without any qualms!

I hired Elite Finishes after receiving 2 other bids. What swayed me was their fast response time: not only in coming out to give me a bid, but also starting the job. Chads attention to detail was by far superior to the other contractors I met with. After we walked through the rooms I wanted painted he sat with me and explained everything in complete detail so when he was finished I knew exactly what was going to be done. He helped decide on colors and finishes for the paint. They started and finished the work on schedule, did the work very professionally and cleaned up when they were done. Next time I need any painting done I will hire Elite Finishes without even bothering to get other bids. The experience working with them was very pleasant and satisfying.

Chad's team was exceptional. They took a great deal of care in their work. Jeff was the lead painter and was my main contact on site. He was very attentive and made sure everything was done the way we wanted before they left. We've been in the house since 2008, with the exception of a couple of rooms, there was a lot of painting that needed to be done. Our house was a foreclosure, so there were a lot of popped seams in the ceiling, sanding and patching, etc. Wow! The house looks just beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better job. They promised straight lines and no mess. That's what we got. Because of all the patching, I thought the job was going to end up more costly, but they didn't charge me for those extras. We originally wanted our doors sprayed, but they painted them by hand. You'd never know the difference. I would definitely use Elite again and refer my family and friends to them. Chad was responsive and great to work with. His pricing was right in line with the two other bids I received. You won't be disappointed!

Chad was very responsive any time I contacted him, from the time I called for an estimate through the projects completion. We were out of town during most of the work, but we felt comfortable with his company having access to our home while it was empty. I didn't have much direct contact with most of his crew, but any time I was around everyone was friendly and professional. Chad was also on the job site working himself, so he's not just having his crew do all the work. The outcome is just fantastic and we already have plans to have the rest of our home painted as well as having our deck tended too. The time frame he quoted was adhered too, and the work was actually completed several days early. There was no change in price from the original quote either. The overall cost of the project was expensive, but it was well within the range we had expected before hand. It was nice that there were no 'surprises' while the work was in progress. There were several small issues, a smudge here or there, and one missing piece of trim. I was still out of town when the job was finished, so we didn't do a walk through before they had vacated the job site. Upon walking around myself I found several small areas where I felt touch-ups were needed. Chad responded immediately to my messages and had painters out the very next day to address the issues. After they came out and I was satisfied Chad returned to the site and walked through with us to make sure we were completely satisfied. During this time he actually noticed a spot that he wasn't happy with, and actually set out painters on another day so the job was completed to his full satisfaction They had originally removed a small piece of 1/4 round so they could match the paint for the areas of trim they were painting. Somewhere along the way it was misplaced. He kept an eye out for it, but when it never turned up he sent a member from his crew out to our home and had him cut and paint new 1/4 round to replace what was missing. You can't even tell that it was not original to the home, so in the end this wasn't really an issue at all. In fact he was so frustrated with himself for mis-placing this small piece (Less than 6" of trim") he has offered to essentially paint one of our bedrooms when they return to finish the rest of the house for the cost of materials only. Chad obviously takes pride in his company and the work that his employees do. That's why we will absolutely use them again in the future.
