Tom arrived promptly. He wasn't satisfied with his work and came back to improve the job. I am very pleased with his service.

There were issues of security surrounding these condominium buildings that required adjustment of locks, and installation of additional parts. Tom was extremetly attentive in responding to my calls, and came within 24 hours to perform the work. We had received previous quotes of this work, and Tom's price was considerably lower, for excellent quality. I have used him since this on more than one occasion, and he has delivered excellent service and quality.

He was professional, explained his pricing, and gave me some suggestions. His price was significantly lower than another locksmith I called. I felt that their price was inflated and that Tom's was fair. I'm planning to have him do the work as soon as my schedule permits me to make the appointment.

It went very well. He showed up on time. His quote matched his invoice and he performed everything he promied. It was a great interaction. I would absolutely reccomend him to other users. He did not charge us a Saturday fee.

He showed up on time; gave a solid explanantion of the work to be done. Based on our phone conversation, he knew which part was needed and he was sure that he had that on his truck before he made the appointment and came out to the house. He arrived on time; led me through each step and finished in short order. Not sure why we waitied until we had a lock issue to get all of our doors rekeyed. Had I known how easy it was going to go, I would have done this several years earlier. Subsequent to the repair visit, my wife had difficultly opened two locks; she called Tom, he came out the next morning and unfroze two deadbolts that had taken on too much water and then froze. He was great. Like many before me, I recommend this service highly.

Tom was exceptionally prompt returning our call, coming out and repairing our lock. He was one of the most efficient, responsive and professional locksmiths I have ever used. His price was reasonable and we would hire him again in a minute. We called Tom on a late Saturday afternoon after looking for a locksmith to fix our front door lock. Although we could still lock our door, so it wasn't an emergency, the latch did not work and it was difficult to open. He answered our call later that Saturday night and came the very next morning. He found the problem, offered to call the manufacturer to get what he felt should be a free replacement due to a recall he was familiar with, but explained it may take a few extra days to get the free replacement. We agreed. He called us promptly the next day to tell us the part was being mailed and that he would call when it arrived. Two days later he called to say it was in and set up an appointment at our convenience to replace it. He came promptly to replace it, and charged us what we felt was a very reasonable price. I only wish there were more Tom's out there.

I couldn't believe he did it all for $75, it was the cheapest my dad had ever heard of. He was prompt and I think he even came out the same day.

He did an excellent job. He was here within an hour, and was right on time. The work only took around 5 minutes, and his prices seemed to be competitive. He was a very friendly and nice guy, and I was very happy with his work. He was awesome.

We just bought a new condo in Logan Square and somehow the mailbox keys got lost in the transaction. I called Tom to replace the lock and within 30 minutes he was at our place. He drilled out the old lock and installed the new one (with two keys) within a few minutes. The new lock looks exactly the same as the existing ones, which is not the case with one of the other boxes with a new lock (which fits poorly and is brass rather than steel color). These things matter to me! Tom quoted $75 for the job, but ended up only charging me $71. Tom is a true professional - very knowledge and efficient at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him!

I had a good experience using Tom’s Locksmiths. He did a good job. He had to come back to fix one lock. However, when he came back he fixed two other locks that he said were installed incorrectly. So he fixed them for me without any charge.

They came out promptly and they did just what they said they were going too. They put in good quality locks. I do not have much of an opinion of the price, because I did not really compare or look around.

Tom was great! He was at my house with an hour of calling him. He provided an inexpensive option. He didn't know I was watching and he oiled the front gate because it was rusty and sticking. Totally above and beyond the service level. I will call him every time I need a locksmith! Way Cool.

Tom responded within 1 hour of my phone call. He showed up on time and was finished within two hours. Quick, professional and careful.

I emailed Tom last week and we set up a time and also I selected the lock type. He is very knowledgeable and sent me pictures of various locks and their finishes. He came today and installed everything and even had to cut a piece of wood to allow the exterior storm lock to fit correctly. My house is over 100 yrs old and Tom was very careful to maintain the character of the doors and expertly install the needed locks.

The price is reasonable. He responded promptly. He came in on Sunday for a regular price. He was very patient. He was very professional.

I set up an appointment with a local locksmith (which I found on Angie's list), he was a no-show and didn't return my phone calls. I called Tom the next morning, he responded quickly, stopping by my house after finishing another job in the area. He was very nice and knowledgeable.

Tom is very good at what he does. He is very responsive. He will call you back within hours instead of days. He is very competent and quick. I wanted a certain type of doorknob, later that night he e-mailed me pictures of the doorknob and I thought that was impressive. I will continue to use his services in the future.

Tom was recommended to us by a family member who got his name from Angie's list. The guy is just amazing. We had a break in and he came by as promised the next day, did everything promised, and for the price we agreed to. A week later one of the doors was not closing well. Tom came back, fixed it, and did not charge us. Overall, this is a good guy who prides himself in excellent craftsmanship.

Called Tom and he answered the phone and was aggrieved that I called his cell phone number because he had forgotten that he gave Angie's List that number. When I told him the situation, he told me that he was doing another job and that if I wanted to get someone else and he said that that would be okay. I asked him what a while would be and he told me that he was working on a car and he just made it really clear that he did not want the job.

Very well. He was on time, clearly described what he needed to do to complete the work and was very professional.

Tom did a great job. The new lock works great. It wasn't cheap, but the work was good, he was efficient, courteous and professional.
