Francis did a great job and gave us a fair price. The work was incredibly extensive including work to install drain tiles in basement and major waterproofing. It was a total gut rehab and Francis had to be innovative and flexible to deal with our budget. The basement looks great and has basically doubled our living space including a new bathroom and bedroom in the basement. We had a couple of issues with the fan in the bathroom and a minor detail here or there that Francis made time to come and remedy immediately. Francis is extremely conscientious and careful and wants to make sure to do his best work and make sure his customer is 100% satisfied with the work. He is a local contractor who lives in our neighborhood and has developed a very strong reputation in the community.

I used The Irish Handyman for some things on my house and he has done very good work. He is very honest and he does very good work. Their price is fair. Price depends on the job. I used them a year ago for bathroom remodeling.

He does a great job. He did multiple windows for us and always does the job wonderfully. He doesn't rip you off and he's very fair.

I contacted Francis and he came in a timely fashion. As we discussed the project, he listened carefully to what I wanted and gave some helpful suggestions. For example, I thought I wanted a heated floor, but he advised me that that would not give me the amount of heat I needed for the basement bathroom. While he was at my home, he did a few small handyman projects on the spot. He provided a written, detailed contract for the bathroom a few days later. While working on the project, Francis made sure at every step that he informed me of what he was doing and why and he was very concerned that I would be completely happy when he was finished. He also tried to keep the surrounding area clean and cleaned up thoroughly when he was finished. I had told Francis that I did not have a set deadline for this project, so the start time was delayed several times due to his working on another project. However, once he started on my project, he worked every day until completion. The Irish Handyman came out to assess the work we wanted done. He was supposed to follow up with an estimate. Never responded. We also had some basic repairs that we wanted at our rental home (a second location). We emailed about this project and he said he would go to the house to take a look - again he never responded after saying he had not done it yet but would get back to us. I'm glad we didn't end up working with him because if this is how a contractor responds BEFORE getting the business, imagine how the actual remodeling process would go.

More than 2 hours were wasted waiting -- not a way to win satisfied customers!
