+ -1 moreThe contractor and workers were easy to work with and contributed excellent ideas to our original plan. They created a system to seal the space so we did not have dust everywhere and so that our pets did not get into the work space. They worked solidly during the time the project lasted and finished just about on time. (We made some changes that added to the length of the work.) Most important, the craftsmanship is outstanding. We would recommend Heartland without reservation.
Description of Work: We remodeled a kitchen which included removing a wall to open up the space and getting all new appliances and installing a new word floor to replace the tile floor.

Description of Work: Front porch rehab (windows, stairs, landing, custom millwork). We continually go out and get other quotes, and he's still the least expensive. With a structural engineering degree from Marquette, he's heads above the competition, many of whom skipped college for the sake of their trade. When it comes to old homes and foundations, I trust Rick. All I have to ask him is "What would you do if it was your house?", and he gives it to me straight. He's not going to provide white glove service, but if I can save 10%, then I can do that myself.
