I setup an appointment on Monday for work to be done at my house on Saturday morning. No one showed up on Saturday morning. We waited for a few hours and called their phone number. They have still not called me back to acknowledge my phone calls asking where they were - and it is 2 days later. Totally unreliable.

I called Dave to get an estimate for two things: 1) the installation of a kitchen sink and 2) some tile work in the bathroom. He quoted me two very reasonable prices so we asked him when he could come by. He told us that the next day was wide open and told us he'd call us in the evening to set up a time. We scrambled to clear our schedules so we could be home while he was doing the work. When we didn't hear from him that evening, we called him only to find out he'd accepted another job and wouldn't be able to come out until next week. Not sure when he was planning on telling us this, or whether he thought the job was too small to even bother with. Either way, it was pretty unprofessional and disappointing. I would not recommend him.

Dave responded quickly to my e-mail requesting an estimate. We made an appointment and he came on time and examined my pipes and let me know what was involved in installing the heat tape. We came to an agreement on the price and he took care of the problem in one visit. I would use him again.

Dave came out the next day, took a look at my three little projects, and gave me a fair price. He completed most of the work that day and then came back and finished up the rest. Good job, would use again.

There were a few false starts in initial communication, but his conscientious work ethic and follow through on the repair work was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate using his services again, and referring him to others.

The serviceman called the evening before to introduce himself. He arrived on time and was extremely polite. He recognized that the item wanted him to install(which I had bought myself) didn't have the finish I expected, and he offered to come back at a later time if I wanted to exchange the fixture. Ultimately I decided to go forward with the installation, which he completed quickly and professionally. He even asked for a vacuum cleaner afterward to clean up the dust particles from the box. I was very pleased with the service and will use them for other upcoming projects.

I was very impressed with Dave Bernick and his associate, Phil. They were very pleasant gentlemen and they did a great job of getting the work done in a timely and cost-effective manner. They forgot to turn on a water valve and an electric breaker (which took me all of 2 minutes), but otherwise, 24/7 was perfect. I would rehire these guys because I liked them and I felt like they were very fair in their price.

They did fantastic. They were very professional and great about hauling everything they removed out to the dumpster, didn't leave it for me to do. The did an excellent job cleaning up when they finished.
