I called the company to come out to do an estimate. The service provider came out and gave me an estimate that was much higher than advertised. When I asked about the deal advertised on Angie's List, they stated that Angie's List had posted the deal incorrectly, but that they would honor it. So, had them come out and do a second appraisal, including the deal. They then got back to me and said that they can not do the work for that price, so he would have to get in touch with the owner. The owner then contacted me to say that he would honor the deal even though it was incorrectly advertised. Ultimately they did honor the deal, but I felt that I had to dispute to get the price that was advertised on Angie's List. On a positive note, the technician that came out to do the job was on time, courteous, and professional.

Cleaned/polished/grout floors. The technician, Chris, was very detailed and professional. Its not a big hallway and the bathroom floor is very small but the whole job took 3.5 hours so i felt like he took his time and knew what he was doing. I had a few email and phone conversations with Mary regarding the schedule, and she was very easy to deal with. Project was just completed and I am happy with the results.

They provided an estimate for the work I requested, but I decided to do the work myself.

the technician arrived on time, explained what he was going to do and proceeded to work on it. When he finished, I really didn't like it. The job was properly executed but I felt that it looked "messy". Not aesthetically pleasing. I immediately called Mary and she talked to the technician and he proceeded to work on it for a few more hours. when he was done it looked beautiful. Exactly how I pictured it. 3 or 4 weeks after the job was completed, I saw some discoloration that I didn't feel should have happened. I called Mary again and with no questions asked, she promptly scheduled another person to come and fix it immediately. The gentleman was prompt and responsive and even left me some supplies so I could touch up the color if I needed to do so. What could have been a bad situation was handled beautifully by Mary and she did everything to make sure I was a satisfied customer. My bathroom looks great and shows beautifully. I will most definitely use them again.

It went smooth. From estimate appointment scheduling and service delivery. The guys that came out for the estimate were professional and respectful but most importantly honest. I originally wanted my tiles reglazed as well. They told me it was not necessary, and if fact, gave me tips to continue cleaning and preserving them.

Not hired to do the planned work.

The marble still glistens and the grout work still looks pristine. They were professional, on-time and appeared to be very well trained.

The service was excellent. The workers were very good. Everybody came on time and coordinated it with all the other contractors. They left the area perfect. Everything was cleaned up. I thought they were very professional and informative. They were very accommodating with our schedule.

Great. I was replacing the shower door so they needed to clean the stone and remove residue from old glue and caulking. Most stains came out, but I called to see if they could redo small parts so it would not be visible. Dan came out and did the additional work himself. Everyone was very professional and responsive, from the person on the phone to the workman and the n Dan himself. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We're very pleased with the result. Dan, the owner, is passionate about customer service and it shows through the quality his employees put into their jobs.

My 15 year old tile floor shower started leaking into the loft below mine and quickly became a nightmare. After calling Sir Grout, Ann came over to my apartment two days later and gave me a realistic estimate to fix the tile grout in the shower. A week later a technician showed up and patched up the shower. He was professional and actually gave me a lot of extra things that weren't in the estimate - like some tile cleaner, and a new bottom to my shower door. Unfortunately after drying for 24 hours the shower was still leaking into the unit below. I don't blame the technician - I knew this was going to be very tough to solve and was a bit of trial and error with my old shower. I called Sir Grout back and immediately heard from the owner Dan - who came out to my loft 1 week later himself and worked magic - putting silicone in cracks I couldn't even see. Most importantly - the leak is now gone. I was impressed by Sir Grout's reasonableness, prompt response, professionalism, and focus on solving the actual problem - not just doing a job. High recommended. Dan and his team are top notch professionals and wont let you down.

It was excellent. Chris was very professional and did an amazing job. The floor (foyer and bathroom) looks like they did originally. He was punctual and friendly and very helpful.

Very well. Was dry in 24 hours and usable as promised. Looked brand new.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend this company as I have written a few bad reviews lately. I had not had the tile and grout cleaned in nearly 20 years. I was doing it myself with a toothbrush and gave up. The wood floors had been cleaned a few years ago but needed to be done again. True to Sir Grouts word, the tile and grout came out like new. They recolored the grout in the sunroom and it was better than new. I was not particularly happy with the finish on the wood floors, but figured it was just the best it would be. When I explained this to the owner, he immediately suggested a redo. This time the floors came out beautifully. I was surprised how beautiful. Both for quality of work and for unbelievable customer service, use these guys. I am sure I will now do it every other year. Well worth the money--and don't wait until you are selling your house.

The first time they came out the job wasn't done correctly. However I called them back out and they spent all day here and fixed it and it looks great. They were very responsive when I called them.

Sir Grout has done several jobs for us and we are very please with the results. They can be a little expensive but they are worth it and stand behind their product/work. Our first job was to clean and seal our stone shower and bathroom floors. After about a year, we had some discoloration on the caulking that outlined the footprint of the shower. I called and they were very prompt to come and look. They replaced the caulking with another product that was a more costly option at no additional cost. I also had them "take a look" at my travertine table that was beginning to develop little holes in the surface. They gave me a quote and offered to fix a few of the larger holes to show me their solution. I wasn't able to afford the cost of the repair but they did more than a few of the holes so that I could go another year and plan for the repair next year. I've had several of their technicians in my home and all were courteous and knowledgable. Sir Grout has been a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them.

First, in the bidding / estimate stage they had the professional tools and knowledge to properly handle a job that a couple other contractors shunned, probably because it was a bit out of the ordinary. That said, Dan and the folks at Sir Grout never made any extravagant promises about what they could to remove the mortar stains or clean our grout. Instead, they were realistic and straightforward while also adamant about giving the project their best shot. Then, when it came to doing the tile and grout cleaning work, they came twice with different personnel and equipment (without charging us any extra) to truly clean everything as well as they could. While working, they kept mess to a minimum and were careful to minimize the use of chemicals. We were not only very happy with what they accomplished in making our bathroom look great, but they were also very personable in following up to make sure we were happy. These follow up calls (both immediately after the work and a few months later) signals that these are folks that truly care about their work and their customers, and I would gladly go back to them again in the future.

Ann Pozol and Eddie came by to give a very complete estimate of the costs after thoroughly evaluating the areas where I wanted them to restore grout and caulk. They gave line by line cost estimates and explained anything I wasn't clear on. When the man from Sir Grout (I have forgotten his name) came at the scheduled time to perform the work, he was courteous, clean and very professional and his work was very good. My husband and I are both satisfied. There were a few minor items on our list that didn't get done, but we could live with them. Dan, the owner, contacted me a few weeks after the work had been done to make sure we were satisfied. I told him that overall we were satisfied but when I mentioned that there were a few items we had hoped they would have done that they hadn't, he personally came to the house to make these additional restorations at no extra charge. Dan is about as customer oriented as they get. Sir Grout has a friendly, knowledgeable and skilled staff. We would use them again.

I finally got tired of looking at a very dirty bathroom and called Sir Grout to help clean things up.Things with Sir Grout went very smoothly, first off they were on time for the initial estimate, the sales person was friendly and got back to me with my estimate when she said she would. After scheduling the appointment they worker showed up on time that day and provided professional, clean and good work. After leaving he cleaned up after himself and was very friendly. The bathroom still looks very good 3 months later!

Dan and his team are fantastic!! They were extremely friendly, and easy to work with. Dan was very good at contacting me right away and even squeezed me into the schedule as I needed something done right away. I highly recommend Sir Grout and Dan's team. They did fantastic work and I'd definitely use them again. Our bathroom has never looked better.

Everything went very well. Joe was punctual, professional, and very friendly. He explained the nature of our problem and possible ways to approach it. The work was done in a very timely manner, with very little mess. Everything was well cleaned up when the project was finished. I enjoyed working with Joe and would not hesitate to use Sir Grout again for any project they can do.

The grout work looks great, thats why I provided Sir Grout with a B for quality. However, our sales contact, Ann, quoted the services to take on 8 hours. When the technician showed up, he let us know he would not be able to complete the job in 1 day. He also said when the other technicians heard it was a full regrout, they would not come help him. Our technician told us to work with Ann to reschedule the services for an additional day. Ann did not respond to our calls on Saturday, so our technician agreed to come back on Sunday at 8:30 AM to finsih the job. Around 10 AM on sunday, after our technician did not arrive because he "forgot", we called Ann with our frustrations. She answered the phone and scolded me for calling her while she was at church. She told me she does not work on weekends and I was distrubing her. The technicians finished the job on Sunday. They used our bathtub to clean their tools and ending up clogging the tub. We called Ann, and she sent an email to the owner letting him know we were now facing plumbing issues, and reminded everyone on the email that we called her during church and she answered the phone.The owner was great, her promptly addressed our plumbing issues and provided us a full refund for the plumbing costs. All in all the technicians and owner are great. However their sales staff is not great to work with, and you unfortunately are stuck working with them most of the time.

As everyone has said Ann is just delightful. She showed up on time,explained what she suggested and gave me an estimate on site and promptly sent a detailed proposal. The Sir Grout guy showed up and got to work, he spent all day and tried very diligently to get everything done to my expectations. I expected the tile to look more like new than he was able to achieve with the equipment he had with him. This is why the B for professionalism. I'm sure if he had the machine brought in by a different guy a couple of days later this would be a perfect A. The punctuality C is due to the second day he did not show up when I was told by him he would. Sir Grout later sent a different guy who's work was really great as well he got everything cleaned and once I approved it he then applied a sealer. It worth noting that the procedure was low oder and everyone was very respectful of our home. They did sub-out the sink refinish so I think it deserves its own comments. Two guys showed up on time, worked most of the day,were very personable and did a great job. If you never considered refinishing a tub or sink I think you would be surprised how great it can turn out. My hundred year old, giant,very beat up slop sink with 6" round legs looks fantastic. The only caution I offer is this process has a very strong oder. I would not encourage doing this unless you are willing to have your windows open most of the day. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. I don't grade high for just doing your job at a fair price, I feel that is a C grade. I grade a B or an A because my expectations were EXCEEDED. I know that on Angie's list most people give straight A's for simply getting the work done without any major problem and at first so did I. I think the list has matured to raising my expectations and I think our reviews should mature as well.
