Simply Custom Blinds

They have a great selection of Hunter Douglas, purchased the Edinburgh 801 - Historical Castle motorized. Greg Was help full in going through everything and options to make our purchase great, wasn't pushy at all on trying to sell us more stuff. Blinds took a little longer because of the holidays and was we'll worth the wait! We live in a high rise with a shared dinning/living room and only decided to do the living room side for now, going to be getting the dinning room done shortly. Blinds look great in this space and completely flow with everything!

Very well, Greg came to the house to show samples for large living room window, blinds came in about 2 weeks after order. Scheduled time for installation and blinds were installed before my holiday party as requested. Overall, very smooth installation and great local company to work with if you are in need of new window treatments

Beautiful! Owners Greg and Serena were helpful and so many ways. My husband and I had no clue what we were going to do to cover these windows in our new home. At the store, we looked at what they had available and Greg helped us narrow it down to what we thought would be nice. Shortly after, Serena came to the house with samples and helped us choose the right types and colors for each room. She's a very talented designer! Everything looks beautiful !! We had one issue that was taken care of almost immediately. One curtain rod had an issue and I couldn't open the curtains all the way about a year after having them. Greg stopped by the day we called to look at it. He ordered a NEW rod and set up an installation day... for ZERO CHARGE he came over and switched out the rods himself. My husband and I are so impressed with this local business. we could call them again in a minute.

I love giving locally owned shops my business, and I had a phenomenal experience with Greg and his wife Serena from start to finish. He was able to come out for a consultation the day after I contacted him, gave me a ton of options with zero sales pressure. My custom Hunter Douglas blinds were in and ready for installation in two weeks as promised. Because I had a tricky corner window, Greg and Serena decided to do the install themselves. I think it took them about 25 min to install 6 windows that look beautiful. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Greg at Simply Custom goes above and beyond! I contacted Simply Custom in hopes that they could help me fix or replace the custom power unit for twelve motorized shades that had shorted out due to water damage. Although Simply Custom had not done the initial installation and the company listed on my power box was no longer in business, he did not let that deter him. He put me in touch with a manufacturer who could build a new power box for me, helped my find a qualified contractor who could install it, and followed up with me to make sure it was programmed correctly. The customer service and professionalism at Simply Custom is unparalleled, and I highly recommend them!

Everything went very smoothly from ordering the blinds to the installation. Serena helped me select appropriate blinds and provided guidance on the color selection. She also did all of the measurements. When the blinds arrived, Greg and Serena did the installation. They were both great to work with and were very professional, punctual, and helpful.

Charlie and I agree that Greg and Serena are great people to deal with! Serena has a good eye for color and matched our blinds perfectly with the wood trim on our windows. They notified us of the delivery date and were on time. Very clean installation. We had the entire house windows redone by them and are happy with the quality of the Hunter Douglas blinds. After recently purchasing a new condo I realized I need to quickly invest in some window treatments. My initial instinct was to just go to a "big box" home improvement store and buy some I could hang myself. Someone suggested I talk with professionals and I have to say, I'm so glad I did because Simply Custom really nailed it. I submitted a request for info and within the hour someone contacted me; 3 days later they were out to do a design consultation and measure all the windows. The installer was in and out within 90 minutes and they look phenomenal. This is the most seamless experience I've ever had with hiring someone to assist in home improvement. Friendly, punctual and delivered on-time.

I really appreciated Simply Custom's attention to providing responsive and individualized service. When I had become frustrated with the lack of responsiveness from another company, I found Simply Custom. I submitted an inquiry on their website and Greg, the owner, called me the same day. He quickly came out to measure my windows and make suggestions. Serena, the other owner, also had a great design sense and helped me choose my window treatments. I gave a B for price, because custom window treatments are really expensive, but I do feel like I got what I paid for. You can tell that Greg and Serena take pride in their business and providing great customer service!

Very happy that I went to Simply Custom.  Serena was very helpful in giving me ideas in getting more light into our home.  Purchasing my shades & verticals was painless.  Very happy with the installer Robert.  Knew what he was doing and picked up all garbage.  He explained how everything worked.  Wonderful service, I would recommend Simply Custom to anyone that is looking for window treatments.

I am happy to recommend Simply Custom for your window treatment needs. They were patient  as we explored all the options, explained the benefits and drawbacks of the various systems, came out to our house to see in person how potential options would work in a real world setting and then provided us with what we were looking for (top down/bottom up honey comb blinds in our living room and dining area, topped by an upholstered cornice; designed custom fitted shades and slider panels for patio door in our family room) and installed them at a very fair price. They were helpful in all aspects including follow up. If you're shopping for window treatments you should definitely contact Serena and Greg at Simply Custom, talk to them and get a quote. They did the job right for us and our window treatments look lovely.

They were fast, efficient, and professional.  Im in the restaurant industry and don't have time to hold someone's hand.  They were great!  Highly recommend!

I have a sun room that has 4 sliding doors and needed window treatments. I knew I didn't want curtains or vertical blinds, but I wasn't sure what else to get. I stopped into Simply Custom and they had a wide variety of options. Sarena came out to measure and brought some different options of shades with her. I picked a few that I liked but didn't order right away. About a month later I stopped in the showroom again to put my order in for what I had thought I decided on, but I ended up finding something I liked even more. Greg let me take the color swatches home for that product to chose which color would look best and I went back and ordered them the next day. I absolutely love my Allure shades! Greg and Sarena were very helpful in my decision making, but never pressured me into buying until I was completely happy with what I had picked. About a month later I had my shades and they've been great. I've had them over a year now and I get many compliments and have had no problems with them at all.

The company did a great job.  I did not have to wait long for the custom order.  Installation was done well.  There was a minor issue with one of the cords and the company came right out to fix it.  Could not have been happier with Greg.

We have had problems from the start. The motor for the first set of blinds failed after 3 days and we had to have a second set made and installed. The second set has been unsatisfactory since the very beginning because the slats do not properly open. The vendor was very slow in responding to my complaints (I had to remind him of my issue to get him to respond). He did have the Hunter Douglas rep come out to view the problem but no satisfactory solution was identified. So, to this day, I have to climb up on a ladder to reset the motor once a month in order for the slats to open completely. This should not have to happen, and the vendor basically says that he has never seen this happen before.  My completely uneducated guess is that perhaps the initial measurements were not done properly as the shade (1) doesn't fill the window horizontally and (2) doesn't completely lower (leaves an inch or so when it comes down) all the time. Even though the vendor (in September) offered to have the rep come out again to troubleshoot (it was now 9 months after installation) given that they didn't find anything when they came out previously, and their answer was to reset the motor every so often as described above I have given up on getting satisfaction regarding this.
