ROUTE 81 LANDSCAPING

It took a long time for Tony to start work after paying a substantial deposit. His crew worked promptly and did a good job once they finally arrived (although they broke a light fixture and did not repair it). We had problems with stones coming loose on the stairs and it took a long time for Tony to return to repair those. Our biggest frustration, however, resulted from offering more work to Tony. He came out to measure and quote but he lost the measurements. He then asked us to remeasure for him and then he repeatedly told us he would start the work but never showed up. In both cases, he always had excuses for the delays related to family members in the hospital... which may be true but which always felt a bit like "my dog ate my homework". It is clear that he doesn't want the second job but is unwilling to say so. We are frustrated by this lack of professionalism as much as anything else. If you choose to work with him, you can expect delays but decent quality.

HIS QUOTE WAS THE HIGHEST I'D RECEIVED, BUT GIVEN THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK (I'D SEEN WORK HE'D DONE IN TWO OTHER HOUSES IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD), HIS PROFESSIONALISM, AND WILLINGNESS TO LISTEN, I WAS HAPPY TO HIRE HIM. THERE WAS A SLIGHT DELAY IN THE WORK GETTING STARTED AND SOME OTHER SMALL MISCOMMUNICATIONS. HOWEVER, THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS BEAUTIFUL, AND MODIFICATIONS TO THE PLAN ORIGINALLY LAID OUT WERE DEALT WITH EXPEDIENTLY. JOSE WAS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. I AM EXCEEDINGLY HAPPY WITH HIS WORK, AND I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN.
