initially gave a lesser estimate and signed the contract , later stages in the middle of the work ,showed more work and raised the estimate for plumbing and general contracting, had to finish the job in 2months took almost 8 months to finish the job.

They are in the neighborhood. They are friendly and very affordable. He was super honest and very clean.

They were asked to fix the burst pipes in my elderly aunt's house while she was in the hospital. Tom was the contact, and he was very professional. They went above and beyond the call of duty, letting themselves into the house the day after we called and completing all the work at very little cost (I am filling out the review for my sister, who paid them, so I don't know the actual cost, but she said it was "peanuts").

The plumber had to hack into the drywall to locate the broken pipe that fed a rooftop outdoor faucet. The plumber explained that installing a shutoff valve would help prevent future issues with this pipe from freezing over during harsh winters. He replaced the outdoor frost proof valve and added a shutoff valve and suggested that rather than replacing the drywall for me to install an indoor access panel to shut off the water during the winter months. With an hour of labor and parts the repair was 265 bucks. I was very happy with the quality of service and preventative approach to the job.

The whole job went VERY well. Rob was able to have someone out the same day, which was a Sunday, as our water heater broke the night before. Rob answered the phone directly and we did not have to wait for a return call like some of the other places. We were not sure if the water heater could be fixed or needed to be replaced and the guy he sent out was able to assess that immediately. In the end, the whole water heater tank needed to be replaced. We were told they would bring out 2 main guys and possibly a helper, as they called him, to assist with things, which is what occurred. I was very curious how the work was going and they were open to me watching them work from time to time. They disposed of the old water heater for us as well. They were all friendly and professional and I felt completely comfortable being in my home alone. The rates were a bit high but well worth the cost so that it could be fixed on a weekend day. One suggestion would be to get an estimation in writing ahead of the work. Over the phone we were quoted certain higher rates because it was a Sunday and we agreed to them. Then after the work was done we were quoted a flat rate for the work as "it was an all day job" but not based on the actual hours the technicians were here, which is what the original agreement was. I had no problem paying for the work and certainly wanted to pay for what we had agreed upon but this became a bit of a struggle over the phone, as all I wanted was a breakdown of the work in hours. Overall, we paid around what we expected given the hourly rates quoted after he took off $200, even though with the advertised 10% off coupon offered online, it should have been $250 off. All in all, a good experience, I would just recommend that there is a clear agreement in how payment for the work will be broken down ahead of time so there is no confusion. Thanks!

Great! Rob is terrific and so are his staff. Rob is knowledgable, responsive, and will actually take the time to explain what is needed, why, options, etc. Also he is very concerned with water conservation and environmental practices. His firm drained the sewer water from our basement, hauled off trash, replaced our water heater and 1st floor apt furnace, both of which we're ruined. And they did it in 24 hrs so that tour tenants wouldn't be without heat. They came back 4 weeks later and reworked our plumbing in the basement to prevent future sewer back up. They were efficient, neat, and responsive. His prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Rob and his firm.

It went great. Tom was very professional and informative. I am a new home owner so many things are new too me. Tom thoroughly explained everything. He was a wealth of knowledge. I would definitely recommend Tom and Rob West Plumbing. Tom gave me some recommendations for the future but was very reasonably priced and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.

We had some water damage and called RWP to find the problem and fix it. They came out and diagnosed the problem for $250. They said they would come back In a few days to fix the problem once our drain was dried out. After over a week I called them to try to schedule a time to come finish the job. The person who answered said they would call me back. No response for a few days. Called back again and they said they would look into it and get back to me very shortly. Again no call back for a few days. I called again and spoke to Rob who basically said he is very busy right now and has more important jobs. He said he would talk to the plumber who came out and get right back to me. Again, no reply. I called back the next day and spoke to Rob. He then wanted me to send him pictures of our drain so he can see what the problem is. So We basically paid $250 to diagnose a problem and he forgot what it was or the plumber who was there never communicated it or kept any records. This company is very disorganized and didn't have a clue what was going on. Eventually Tom came out to fix the problem and was very nice and seemed to do a good job. They seem to do good work but don't understand how to return phone calls and provide customer service.

I was in desperate need of a plumber do to a leak in the office bellow us caused by a corroded pipe. I contacted Rob West Plumbing and they did a great job in communicating back and forth with me. The building I am in required licencing info and certifications, Rob West Plumbing was able to provide this documentation rapidly and minutes later a plumber was at our door to fix the problem.. The plumber fixed the problem with 1 hour and a half, and provided me the bill which was super reasonable. I would definitely use this company again they got the work done fast efficiently and inexpensive.

Rob was very professional and punctual. He assessed the problem, and scheduled to come back the next day with parts. He replaced and tested everything and completed the job with no problems. What I like the best is that when you call you talk to someone right away and they are diligent about returning calls and following through.

Excellent service. Rob returned my phone call quickly and was able to commit a two plumber team for the next morning. George and his colleague arrived on time, assessed the situation, and got right to work. Once the initial drain clearings were done, I had some additional questions about further work. My answers were clearly answered ensuring I understood the extent of the work that would need to be done. George also recommend a change to my drain system that would help reduce the frequency of clogs in the future. When they were completely finished they left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. I am scheduling the follow up work this week.

The company is very friendly and professional. I was able to text photos of the project to them before coming out and they knew what they were walking into. The work was done quickly and at a cost much cheaper than the other plumbers in the area.

Spoke to Rob around 1:15pm. His serviceman, George, came at 4p.m. (which was a little later than his first estimated arrival time of 2:30pm). Clog was cleared. The one hour service charge of $215 was steep but it was worth it to me for the same day service since my downtown condo has only one bathroom. Aside from the little miscalculation on the arrival time (but forgivable since it was scheduled for the same day service), all interaction with Rob and George was professional and cordial. If the clog issue does not happen again soon, I think I would consider that it was a job well done.

We are now big fans of Rob West! I gave Rob a call when 2 basement toilets were not working. Not a good problem to have on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Rob answered the phone, and walked me through some troubleshooting, saving me time and money . After figuring out it was the ejector pump, he gave me an estimate of when he could stop by (an hour later), and asked me to text him pictures of the ejector pump, pit, and drain so he could be properly prepared when he got here. Rob and his employee changed the pump, installed a silencer (no more bang after a toilet is flushed), and even tightened up my shower handle while he was here. Rob was knowledgeable, detail oriented, and I appreciated him minimizing the labor costs by troubleshooting over the phone since the issue couldn't wait until Tuesday (Sunday rates higher than normal hours). We will definitely be calling Rob again!

Because our gas was off, we needed the work done quickly and efficiently. Rob's team did that. He fit us into the schedule on short notice. The workers were respectful, clean, professional and efficient. Most importantly, they quickly sealed all the leaks. Given the age of our home, our fear was they would keep discovering small leaks, extending the job. They did find a couple more, but fixed them fast. Most importantly, their work passed the test of People's Gas and our heat was back on within a day. They charge per hour per man on the job, with the first hour being charged at a higher rate than subsequent hours. The rate was a bit higher than other quotes, but they worked fast and the final price came in at around what we expected. Given that this was only our second foray into hiring plumbers, we put N/A for the price as we have no real point of comparison. It seemed fair based on what they did, though.

Rob West Plumbing are good. I would give them a two thumbs up. They were nice, on time, quick, and they charged what they said they were going to charge. They were a better price than another company that I used 6 months ago.

Last night I realized my sump pump was not working just as the weather report predicted 2 inches of rain with flooding for today. I called Rob West this morning and he was able to send someone over within 3 hours who replaced the dead sump pump with a new working one, very quickly, efficiently, leaving no mess behind and at a very reasonable price. The rains started a few hours later and I can hear the pump working again. There is no water in the basement. Thank you Rob West Plumbing.

Plumber arrived on time. Was very knowledgeable about how to to locate the leak. Found it in a brief period of time, and quickly resolved it.

Of course, it's a Sunday morning - early - and I hear from my neighbor that her kitchen is flooding because of a leak in my kitchen coming through her ceiling. How does one go about getting an emergency plumber at 6:30 on a Sunday morning? Enter Angie's LIst - I was able to find Rob and his company through a quick search, and because he had an emergency line, I was able to get a call back in an hour and a service call within two. Unbelievable responsiveness! Rob came himself and checked/scoped all the pipes and drain in the kitchen and was able to rule out a local clog. He gave a theory of the issue and provided a step by step set of actions i could do to get the issue resolved. He suggested that the clog was on a common building pipe and should be diagnosed by scoping through the roof, which was exactly right. Even while he worked he gave an understanding of what he was doing. He even went down and spoke to the neighbor, offering solutions for how to fix the area where the leak had come through. In the end, the issue was in the common pipe found at the roof, so he was spot on without even seeing it. These guys are great, very personable and come highly recommended.

Woke up to find my water heater leaking, called Goode Plumbing who I used in the past but they were booked solid that day and Mike Goode referred me to Rob West Plumbing. Rob took some information down from me and had a guy out in short order, which was much appreciated. Luke was at my place within 30 minutes of the call, he assessed the problem quickly and got to work. Very professional and efficient, I would definitely use them again - they helped me out of a huge bind.

Called and reached someone! Asked for it to be done as soon as possible. Set up a time for following morning at 8 am. The guy showed up on time and installed the faucet I purchased. Everything was fine.

I first hired Rob West Plumbing to repair a cracked water main in my driveway after having some difficulty finding a plumber to even bid on the job. Rob came out to take a look the day I called, and provided an assessment and an estimate within 24 hours. Village staff had positive things to say about RWP when they called to confirm our permit (Rob handled all the paperwork for that), so we signed on. And we're glad we did. Rob very effectively managed our expectations and responded quickly to our questions as his crew began work on the repair. They were professional and thorough. Rob stopped by several times to check - and keep us up to date on - progress. The project was completed on time and on budget. We were impressed and enjoyed working with the RWP team, so asked Rob to bid on our kitchen remodel project. He has tremendous experience and a talented team of carpenters, tilers, electricians and, of course, plumbers. He listened carefully when we described our needs and budget parameters, then made recommendations regarding materials and price points. Based on our preferences, he prepared an estimate and put together the project team of hardworking, neat, courteous and knowledgeable pros. Under Rob's direction, they gutted the kitchen, tiled the floor and installed new cabinets, checked and repaired electrical wiring. At the end of every day, they provided an update on their progress and next steps. They were efficient and fast, making what could have been a disruptive experience a positive one.
