I called Jiri, the owner, after purchasing a coupon for $240 for 8 hours of painting. He came out in the fall, and I asked him if it would be better to wait until the spring, since it was unseasonably cold at that time. He said yes, so I called him back the following spring. He asked me about the colors I would be painting and we talked awhile about my choices, while he made his suggestions about the last color I needed to add. Then he lined up his painter, Mike, and told him what to do. The painter, Mike, was extremely clean, cleaning up after himself, as he scraped. The paint job itself is very good, and the communication with Jiri, the owner, was great. But, the best part of the whole job, was that I picked out a color to paint the underside of the soffit, and as Mike was painting, he didn't think I would like it, so he knocked on my door, and had me come out to look at it, and he was right, I hated it. With that, I went right back to the store to buy another color of paint, which I now love. If he had not said anything to me, I would now have a color on my house that I hate. I spent quite a bit more than I had imagined, but Jiri was right up front, from the beginning, that this was going to take a lot more time than I thought. I would definite recommend this company and would use them again if needed.

I bought an 8 hr service through Angie's list coupon. I could not have had a better experience - and it was truly a great value. Not only was Jiri punctual and accommodating (we had to cancel for weather once - for scheduling issues on my end once) - but the gentleman who came to do the job was meticulous, hard-working, and efficient. Also cleaned up everything, was careful and extremely professional. I bought the paint and bondo materials beforehand -and they had all the appropriate equipment. The result is beautiful! My porch is wood, so the prep was very important. The sanding was careful and thorough; the patching looks great. Painting was perfect!I am very happy.Thank you!!!!

I brought a coupon from Angie’s List and then I spend some extra money as well. He did a good job, was very thorough. Everything was good. He was supposed to go on a vacation if I wouldn’t have needed it right away but it ended up working up fine. He was very professional and did a good job.

The individual who performed the work was exceptional. He took the time necessary to prep and performing the work in a highly detailed manner. It was evident from the onset that he took great pride in his work and making sure I was completely satisfied with the service. I would DEFINITELY use this company again for future needs.

1. Had a great experience with Jiri. His painter Jesus has an amazingly steady hand! Really crisp and clean lines. The paint job looks great! 2.North Shore showed up on time everyday and finished within the estimated time frame. They were respectful of our belongings. 3. I put color samples on some of the walls when trying to decide which color to use and 2 coats of paint didn't cover it. Jiri came back and put on another coat or two at his own expense. He was very responsive and accommodating.

It was great. They did a great job, I would definitely have them out again.

They were very thorough and very professional -- they made sure, as they went, that I was pleased with the colors and the work. I highly recommend this company!

The job looks terrific. There are a few spots that still need touching up--such as the gaps around outlet covers--but even a room that was painted in black looks great. And I know black's a hard color to paint. When there were problems, such as a ceiling where rust was coming through, Jiri came back and took care of it himself and the fix has stuck so far. Although it seemed that the job was going on forever (there was a lot of painting), every day the house looked better and better. The corners and edges look tight and the colors are even. His workmen were polite and friendly, and Jiri himself is a friendly and pleasant guy as well as a professional businessman. His prices are in the range of his competitors and he follows through on his promises.

Professional and concerned attention to all aspects of the job.

We live in a 3-flat condo and a few years ago the condo membership as a group got together to paint the fence.....and after dealing with the rust and all the wrought iron curly-qs, we decided that next time we'd have a professional do it. :-) I contacted NorthShore and Jiri contacted me back right away. He was professional, timely and organized -- and importantly, communicated promptly when there were changes to the plan (e.g., the day they were going to paint it was forecasted to rain, so he called me proactively to reschedule). The gentleman who did the painting itself (Michael, I think) did an excellent job -- it is 10 times better than the job we did ourselves!I will most certainly keep North Shore Painting on my short list for when we're ready to repaint our interior in a couple of years. Highly recommend.

They did a fantastic job. They were prompt, cleaned up and did a great job. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

The painter showed up on time, worked quickly without cutting corners, and left everything clean at the end.

Jiri came to the house within 2 days of initial contact and provided an estimate of the work within 24 hours. He was very personable and professional. The crew started work about a week later, usually two or three workers, including a supervisor. Jiri would also stop by a regular intervals to make sure that work was progressing to our satisfaction. The crew was great. Not only were they meticulous in their work, they were great to interact with and even helped us with advice on some of our color selections. They were sensitive to the temporary disruption to our household and did everything they could to minimize it. We've been in this house for over 20 years and this company is one of the very few that I would have no hesitation in re-hiring.

Great job!! Puctual, cost effective and they really were ernest about getting the job done right. I had issue with some patching they had done and before I knew it...it was scaped off and smoothed down perfectly...no issue at all to them. We were so pleased that we are using them for the exterior either late this year or early next. Jiri, the owner, is a joy to work with.

Jiri, owner/operator was excellent to work with! He is on time, courteous, friendly, and professional. I thought his price was very reasonable and he applied my pre-purchased Angie's List deal to the overall estimate. He used Benjamin Moore paint on my job and I believe he also uses Sherwin Williams if the owner prefers. He did use a subcontractor some of the work, but he himself was there for the detailed edging and trim work. They patched all of the staple and nail holes from the new trim work and did (2) coats on all. The result was excellent! The coverage and edges were great and there was little to no drips or that I could see anywhere. Jiri even came back the next day to finish some touch-up work. We had one minor mishap where something was accidentally broken, but Jiri immediately offered to pay for the item when we brough it to his attention. In all, I am very happy with the job that was done and I look forward to hiring Jiri and his team again.

Jiri and his team did a wonderful job. He gave a good proposal and followed up to make sure I had everything I needed. He and his assistant was professional and did a good job. I highly recommend him to others.

Jiri came out for an estimate and determined it would take 2 days. The first day was covered by the big deal the 2nd day was normal cost. His guy showed up at 7am both days and did a great job. In fact he had extra time so we had him paint another room we had already gotten paint for. Jiri even came by to check out the work and gave us credit for an hour as his guy left a little early. Classy guy who definitely cares about his reputation.

I had a really great experience with Northshore Painting and Restoration. I purchased the painter for a day deal and ended up extending the time period so we could have some other work done. Jiri was very responsive, punctual, and patient. I was very concerned that I had selected the wrong finish for the room and he worked with me the morning that they started to make sure it done the way I was hoping for. We had our future baby's room painted with a large stripe as well as our second bathroom. Both turned out fantastic. I would highly recommend the company.

I purchased the Big Deal several months ago. I waited and called to make an appointment when I knew I could be home. Jiri Vojtech was very accommodating to my schedule. He purchased the high quality trim paint that I requested and passed his discount on to me. My painter for both days was Jesus and he did an outstanding job. The wood was sanded where needed, cleaned and then painted with two coats. Painting baseboards is demanding work because the painter must be careful of both the floors and the walls. I have found no places with drips on the floors or trim paint that goet on the walls. The situation is the same with doors. If the painter is not careful, drips will occur. There are no drips on my doors. I appreciate the careful way that Jesus worked. I have identified some outdoor painting that I would like North Shore Painting and Restoration to complete for me after the weather warms up.

North Shore Painting & Restoration is the gold standard in quality work. The painter who works for Jiri knows his trade and this company delivers what they promise. This company cares about their reputation and wants you to be pleased with what they do. That becomes obvious in how they treat their customer. I cannot fault them on anything, they were superb. The owner came with the painter to be sure he understood what all was to be done. Arrived right on time to the minute and were professional in everything. Work provided was top quality, patience and care in what was to be done was this painters strong suite and attitude was exactly what you want in someone working for you in your home. Polite and took all pains to protect your property. This painter took pride in his work, you could see it. The owner and the painter insisted on moving pieces of furinture that were heavy. When the work was finished everything was put back in place. They brought in their own vacuum cleaner. When I said I could do the vacuuming, the painter insisted he would do it as this company considers that part of their cleanup job. I have had painters in the past who do the work and then can't wait to skip out with the minimum of cleanup as possible. Not this company. Would I hire them again?. You better believe it. I believe they are priced very reasonably, and this is definitely a company that gives you exactly what you are hoping for when you hire them - A GREAT JOB AND A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

On time start and on time finish. No mess. Cleaned up at the end of every day.
