Master Painter

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They go by the name ?Quality Painting Co?, ?Chicago Condo and Apartment Painting Co.? and ?Master Painters?. Those are the names I know and I am sure there is a reason they have so many names. The contact person is Antonio Carey and he worked with one Adam Ocasio while at my place. I hired Antonio Carey to paint my new townhouse and let?s just say it was the biggest mistake I have made in a very long time. I spoke with Antonio (Tony) on the phone for an initial consultation and he was really nice and professional. He stopped by my place to take a look at the nature of the job and he convinced me that he would do a good job that he would fix this and fix that, that he owns a boat he calls ?Liquid Kitty? and he lives downtown blah blah blah let?s just he told me enough to have me fooled. We agreed on a very good price in fact it was the lowest quote so I decided to use him. On December 31st 2014 he said the job would take 2 weeks for him to complete that he works 24hrs and I told him two weeks was fine as long as he completed the job before 7th of February my thinking was if he was really as competent as he claimed he?d be out of there at most in 3 weeks. I paid this man 50% and left him alone just texting and calling to get updates. During one of our calls he used the F word?first red flag. On day 6 or 7 I went to my place and there was paper on the floor and paint on my door frames. At this point there was no sign that this man would finish the work in 2 weeks. I knew he was not going to finish the job when I called him one evening right in front of the unit and he told me he was in there working ? all the lights were out there was not a single person in there. Long story short I ended up telling him I no longer needed his services and that I needed my keys and money back and that?s when the real drama started. He cursed me, left me voice messages threatening to deal with me, saying that his people will be visiting me and he even made racist comments?.I have all the voice mails and text messages saved! Save yourself the trouble and hire someone else don?t fall for the good price, 24hr service, I own a boat, I painted a unit in the Trump Towers, the Facebook videos and all that stuff. Seriously, imagine this guy telling me a lie that he left the keys to my place under the door mat, thinking I was out of town and I would be able to check. By the way he also made away with the very expensive curtains in the unit??Learn from my mistake stay away from Antonio Carey. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
