Initially, I was hesitant to take this deal since it almost seemed to good to be true. But don't let the GREAT price deter you from taking this offer. These guys did an absolutely phenomenal job - they were prompt, professional, kind and WORKED from the moment they arrived to the moment they left. They want to please their customers and it is obvious with the attention to detail, and professionalism they exude. My place looks brand new, and I am so pleased with the outcome. This is a FABULOUS deal that I recommend anyone take advantage of. Thanks again guys for doing such a wonderful job!!

Their quality was good. They were punctual, reliable, and I was very satisfied.

JR Painting and Remodeling were very courteous and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. However, I have two issues that I am not pleased about. The voucher that I paid for indicated that they would provide eight hours per person, two persons each, total of 16 hours of painting. They took a 45 minute lunch break within their 8 hour period at my house; therefore, I expected both of them to perform an additional 45 minutes of work each (i.e. 90 minutes total). When I asked them about this as they were packing up, they indicated that the job was for an eight hour day, regardless of how much time they took for lunch. They should change their voucher to indicate they will work an eight hour period (i.e. from 9-5), rather than say they will provide painting services for eight hours each. This is a misrepresentation to the customer. Of greater concern, I just called the painter a few minutes back as I noticed this morning that the painting performed on a wall in my dining room area was not performed properly. I asked about a couple of these areas last night before he left, as I noticed some unevenness in the paint. He indicated that this is fresh paint and it will dry off. It did not, as I noticed this morning. From my kitchen area, I can notice a square boxed area of uneven paint as compared to the rest of the wall. Also, in my kitchen area, I noticed that there is paint on the ceilings in a few areas. I did not have my ceilings painted. They put some tarp on the ceiling to cover the furniture and there are now tape marks on the ceiling as well. I am planning to sell my home and this will be very obvious to any potential homeowner that views my home. I indicated this issue to the painter this morning and even said that this is not an emergency and I would just appreciate it if he could come back and finish this area at his convenience. His response was that this was not part of the voucher deal. When I confirmed with him that he was basically telling me that they did not paint this area properly and that he would not return to fix it because it was not part of the deal, he said "yes". I realize that no one is perfect and I am a reasonable person, but it disappoints me when people do not take responsibility for their work and do not attempt to make things right. I take pride in my work and doing things properly even if I don't do things right the first time, but I never blow people because it's an inconvenience.

They were wonderful. Courteous, professional, prompt, quiet and clean up was good. Not a speck of paint anywhere but on the walls. They showed up on time and finished quickly.

This was the first time I used Angie's List big deal promotions. Overall, they came on time, responded quickly to any questions I had. Did a good job painting and cleaned up after themselves. These are painters that can be trusted to handle any job thrown at them. Would I use them again? Yes

The two-man crew showed up on time and were very courteous. They did extensive patching - more than we even knew we needed! Overall, the paint job was done very well; only a couple of spots that I thought could have been done better. I had paid for 8 hours, but they completed the job in 7. I could have asked them to paint elsewhere, but didn't since they had already cleaned their supplies. I would recommend this company based on professionalism,patching (not cutting corners), and quality.

They were great. I got two rooms painted along with ceilings. I would hire them again.

Raul was great. He painted every room I needed to have painted and some touch ups on other areas of the walls. He was punctual and professional. I would definitely use him again.

Bought a Big Deal for two painters for a day. They were scheduled to come out but canceled at the last minute (and only after I called to see what time to expect them). Their work was okay...we asked them to try and get two rooms done and they got one room done and started on another - I realize that's the risk with these "worker for a day deals," you might not get done what you want, but with two people for 8 hours I would have expected more results. They also dripped paint on the baseboards and floor and did not clean it up. We ended up having someone else come out to finish who did better work and for a lower price.

The scheduling was smooth and attentive to my needs - I had a narrow window of opportunity before moving into my new condominium, and JR made it work. The two painters arrived 15 minutes early, a near miracle, and got right into the job. They did a very professional job, and made some good suggestions about which color should be on which edge, etc. The place looks great!

I used two painters for 4 hours each. They were very meticulous and carefully taped areas not to be painted and used drop cloths on the floor so as not to drop paint on the new hardwood floor. They worked continuously for the 4 hours and did and did an excellent job. Very professional. I would use them again.

You wanted for December 6th. He said he had to go out of town but could do it no problem and would call me back. He never called back.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were very good. I didn't have any additional cost. They did quite a bit of work and they did it very well. They were very professional.

The two men were very polite ad neat. Great job.

They were very nice and I would recommend them to anyone!

The contractor came out to review the project. What I wanted him to do did not match his skill set. He courteously declined the project.

It seemed to be fine. Everything looked great.

Mr. Rivas came 15 minutes early, charged me an extra $35.00 because of the size of my house. My house siding was very dirty and after the power washing it looked white (as it should be). I will definitely call Mr Rivas next year.

Jr Painting arrived about 20 minutes late but it was no big deal. I had purchased a "Deal" and was eager to get this painting project completed that was left from an earlier painter. I wasn't sure if the job was doable within the time allotted but they had no problem getting it done. In fact, they finished about an hour early. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Because they finished early they went around and did some spot touchups left from the earlier painter. I didn't ask them to do that but it was certainly appreciated. I would definatey hire them again. It was a good job at a good price.

They painted the living room for me on Oct. 7th, as planned. However, I asked him to paint a little more and he did for $90.00 more. The price seemed very reasonable. The painters were very courteous and punctual. Because they did so well, I asked them to come back and paint my kitchen, dining room, hallway and entryway. Again, the price was reasonable, and they were very courteous and punctual. There is a small area that looks like it could use another coat, but I'm not worried because Raul said I should call him if I find that anything needs a touchup. I would definitely call them in the future for another job.

My experience went very well. They were very punctual, professional and friednly while visiting. I was pleased with the outcome of the service. I would highly recommend this company to others.

They were great. They painted my mouldings and quarter round along with my ceilings. They were fast, efficient and I felt safe with them in my home. I would certainly call them to do more work in the future. They got me ready for my next step of home decorating.

They actually were a bit early for the appointment, but got right to work and completed the project in a timely fashion.

The provider's ladder was too big to fit in between the houses on either side. As a result, only the bottom half of the house was washed on the sides. Front and back were totally done as expected. I couldn't contract this provider again unless they had the equipment to get the sides on both floors as well. What was done is fine, he was just not able to do the top of both side.
