Very detailed and thorough. Did a great job and was easily to work with around my busy schedule. I purchased the $399 deal for 2 painters for 8 hours. They did most of the work, but due to the prep work needed for the crown molding and door frames, I had to have them return to complete the job. Although they had to cancel due to a personal issue, they accommodated me the very next day since I was scheduled to move out that weekend. They did a great job and even helped my mother carrying some heavy boxes down three flights of stairs! Thank you...my condo looks great!

They did not do the work. I was unhappy that I didn't get it done but pleased that they were honest with me about what to expect.

Purchased Angie's List deal for $399 for two painters for a day. Guys showed up on time and advised me immediately that my hopes for what they could complete in a day were ambitious. Fortunately, they were able to come back later in the week. To help you plan, it took 2 full days to paint trim, ceiling, and walls of a 2BR/1BA, ~1000 sqft condo. Their quality was good... wall coverage was great, edges were good. Workers were polite and responsive to questions. My only negative comment is that I bought a deal for 2 painters for a day. The business owner was part of my crew (great guy), so he spent a decent amount of time on the telephone fielding calls from other customers. 614

Painters were on-time, did a quick and thorough job and cleaned up.

I purchased the Angie's List deal for two painters for eight hours. The painters were able to do quite a bit during that time- probably about a third of my apartment. They did a good job with the prep work, patching, and painting and overall I'm very pleased both with both the amount and quality of the painting. The two painters showed up exactly on time and were very professional and polite. I particularly appreciated that they painted one small area that I requested as they were cleaning up and preparing to leave. My only complaint is that they cleaned their brushes in the kitchen sink and some of the paint-filled water backed up into the dishwasher. I had to run a few cleaning cycles to get it out. I wish they had used the bath tub or, better yet, the sink in the basement. That being said, I am moving and will likely paint my new place. I'd hire JR and Painting for that job without any qualms.

They had very limited openings, and we had to go through some serious contortions to have someone home all day on the date they wanted to paint. My wife spent an extra 1.5 hrs ferrying our son to daycare so that I could be home to meet the JR team at 8 a.m. They didn't show up. When I called at 8:15, the owner told me that he had scheduled us for the following day. He said he had tried to call me over the weekend to confirm, but my number didn't work. I received no phone calls from him, and my phone was working and turned on all weekend. He didn't seem concerned at all that he had inconvenienced us, and didn't offer to do anything to make it up to us, other than perform the services we'd purchased. We scheduled a time for his crew to come today, and again, I interrupted my work day to get the house ready for them, etc. The painters hadn't shown up 15 minutes after the appointed time, and I called JR to let him know that I would cancel the deal if they weren't here within 30 minutes of the start time. He said they were on their way, but couldn't tell me when they would arrive. He then told me that I should go ahead and cancel the deal, because his workers would be inconvenienced if they got here 35 minutes after the start time and I had canceled the job. He seemed to have absolutely no concern over the inconvenience that he'd caused my wife and I. I canceled the job. This guy is a flake and a jerk, and I would go to great lengths to avoid doing business with him.

Bought the Big Deal from this company and there was no follow up. I tried to call the phone number listed on the coupon and it was a number not in service. I sent an email and got no response.

They patched and sanded prior to painting. It looks great. There were a few splatters on the floor but no big deal.

I highly recommend these guys. They thoroughly patched, sanded and painted the three rooms, and when they were finished they looked great. Really an outstanding job. I feel like they did more than I was expecting and would use them again.

The painters were polite, punctual, professional and neat. They were hired for 4 hours work. They had to work over 4hrs to complete work but I was fine with that. They worked very hard and did a nice job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $199 interior painter for a day (i.e. 8 total hours) provided by JR Painting & Remodeling, which I used towards painting a bedroom. Since furniture had to be moved from the room, Raul said he'd send 2 painters for 4 hours each, and that time thereafter would be billed at an hourly rate. The painters arrived promptly, and were very curteous and professional. They efficiently and carefully moved the furniture from the bedroom, which I greatly appreciated. They patched cracks in the drywall and ceiling, primed and painted the walls, and painted the trim and moulding. They did an excellent job each step of the way. Afterwards, they swept away all debris, and moved the furniture back into the bedroom. I was throughly pleased with the quality of the work. In fact, I've asked Raul to provide quotes for painting 3 additionla rooms, and painting the exterior of my house. Also, the charge for the additional hours beyond the 8 "Big Deal" hours was extremely reasonable.

They did a fine job and the whole process was easy.

They did a great job and I would absolutely use them again. They were prompt and the paint job was done in professional manner. They got a lot of work done in only a few hours.

Raul and all of the other workers were very respectful, hardworking and treated each other and myself with respect. This is very important to me, especially when they're spending a few days at my house. I felt they provided quality work and worked each day until the goal was accomplished. Raul, the owner, also does the labor at times, which helps to have him around when things come up and to check in with progress. I will definitely hire them again.

They did an excellent job! We had no problems with them. I am very impressed! Their cleanup was so good it was like they hadn’t even been here.

Raul was extremely prompt in following up with me to arrange the painting after purchasing the deal. He and one of his associates showed up right on time (actually a few minutes early). What I needed was rather simple - repainting our master bedroom. They not only did a fantastic job at that, but they had about 15 minutes left in our session and made sure to use that time to repaint the baseboards. I will definitely work with Raul and JR Painting again.

Did not paint the window frames or base boards and there were a lot of imperfections on the walls. Everything was done poorly.

They were great. I changed the date on them several times due to contractor delays and they accommodated my requests every single time with no problem. They showed up exactly on time, and completed the work an hour early. Very professional very neat. I'm happy with the job and look forward to hiring them again for another paint job in my unit

Raul and his team did a great job painting my high-ceilinged, 2 bedroom loft. I was indecisive about paint colors, and Raul was always able to make my last-minute requests for more samples. I was here when they arrived for 2 of the days, and they were always 5 minutes early and reliable. The paint job looks great, and when I noticed a spot of paint on my window blind, Raul was able to get it out and it's none the worse for the wear. Raul was also very honest, telling me that taking the fireplace mantle down did not take as long as he had estimated, so I should deduct $100 from the bill. He also made some trim for me where the base of the mantle was, and it looks great. He fixed my closet door and he did not charge extra. Great team and I'll continue to use them in the future.

It was fine. Great price but unsure that I need that much work done. Need to reevaluate and purchase different deal.

Deal was for 2500 sq. ft. for $1499; but this did not include trim, so that became extra. Raul was easy to deal with; prompt; and professional. The crew was happy and polite. I felt the pricing was reasonable and fair once I realized the initial offer did not include the trim--which, of course, was a necessary addition. Clean up was well done.

They arrived on time and I provided them with paint. Some of the paint was bad so I needed to get more which I did for the next day. They completed the work within two days, however when I went onsite I noticed that some doors and areas had not been completely painted. For example, on the bedroom doors you can see just parts of the door was painted. They did clean up when they left with the exception of the bathroom where they did the patching work. That was a mess. Overall they did an average job. I did like the fact that for the 2nd day's work, he provided me with the same price as the big deal I purchased, however I figured with a 3rd person, they would have done a better than average job. So based on the work, I would say average, nothing special.
