Aleksander installed new locks on three doors of our new house. The garage service door had been kicked in prior to our purchase of the home, but he was able to successfully install new locks on the existing door. The job was done adequately, although the new locks don’t all turn the same direction, which makes it a bit confusing when you’re trying to verify whether the door is locked at a glance; however, the reason I probably will not use their services again was the lack of professionalism. Aleksander frequently text messaged on his cell phone while performing the work. I understand that service professionals sometimes need to use their cell phones to stay in touch with managers and clients, and if it was in fact work-related (which I somewhat doubt), I would have understood if he would have excused himself briefly to make a call. I felt it was very unprofessional, and certainly a deterrent from continued business, particularly for mediocre services.

Called and scheduled an appointment but no one ever showed up. When I called and spoke with Eli, he claimed that no one ever scheduled the appointment.

I called to have my locks changed and made a mistake on the scheduling: I thought the appointment was for a day earlier. I spoke with Eli on the phone who promised he could send someone right away, no trouble. Within 15 minutes someone showed up and asked exactly what I wanted, and got straight to work. He even told me he didn't have to replace all the locks I wanted and saved me some money by just making a new key. There was a service charge I didn't expect, which cancelled out the Angie's list deal, but the cost was very reasonable (about $200 for 4 locks changes). We called at 4pm and an hour later our lock was fixed. Simon called on his way and arrived promptly. He worked quickly and was very friendly (including letting my daughter "help"). He explained everything and answered my questions. Before I knew it he was done and everything worked again.

It went great. He was punctual, polite and professional. It was more difficult than either of expected, but he knew what he was doing. He even asked for a broom when he was threw and cleaned up after himself. I was very impressed.

Purchased this service online on an Angie's special. They were great. The young lady (sorry, I've forgotten her name) explained what she was going to do. She was friendly and professional and what a concept ON TIME! Finished ithe job in a timely manner. I would definitely hire them again.

Recommended ET for a family member who was visiting and locked their keys in the car. Feedback: professional, personable, friendly and polite. Said member would use them again and would recommend to others. *UPDATE* Used ET to replace tumbler lock on outside gate, fantastic job. The tech was easy to interact with, answered questions, explained options and costs for replacement locks. He was able to use his smart phone to swipe my card and get my signature (receipt emailed to me- awesome!) They've sold me on repeat business.

Extremely timely, provided same day service on a Sunday, where other companies felt that this situation did not require emergency service remediation. The locksmith also provided practical advise on the handle portion as the cost would be $300 and needed to be special ordered.

Quinn arrived to assess the complicated situation and returned a few hours later to get started. He said the easiest and most cost effective thing to do in our situation was to replace the entire door, but since our door is a custom, round, 80 year old door with matching stained glass, he would never consider doing that and took on the challenge of replacing the lock. From start to finish he was just as concerned with the historical integrity of our home as we were, and we appreciated that so much. He worked late into the night to solve the problem and returned the next day and successfully completed the job, preserving the original custom door handle and many of the original components. Our other doors were also a challenge, but he got the job done professionally and with creative solutions to preserve our home's beauty. We are so grateful for Quinn's talent and will definitely call him again.

My daughter had her purse stolen, which included her ID and keys. I figurred it was time to re-key my locks. I re-keyed 5 doors. I emailed ET Thursday evening via their web site. I received an email reply at 9:30PM that evening, saying they would take care of me and suggesting we make contact the following morning, which we did. We set up a window of time for that day, Friday afternoon, and Eli arrived within the window. We surveyed the locks and he gave me a bid; I thought the bid fair and he went to work. In about 90 minutes he completed his work, offered me two master keys and asked me how many copies I needed. He made the copies. Eli was friendly, knowledgable and quite efficient. Job complete. I recommend this service highly based on my experience.

Kept to his original price quote even though the handles were more expensive than he originally thought. Very prompt and professional service. Showed up in the late afternoon and finished in 2 hours. I was very surprised at the times he was willing to work, with no surcharge for evening work.

Called for an estimate and had next-day service on time. Noah did an excellent job changing 4 locks including a tricky sliding glass door lock. Very satisfied.

I spoke with the dispatcher who could only tell me what the minimum cost was. When I asked if I could get a more detailed estimate, or perhaps speak with one of the technicians to get a better idea of what I was looking at, she said "We don't really do that". She was very polite, and completely not helpful - so I called the next locksmith on the list. I can't speak to the quality of their work, but it seems that if you don't know exactly what you need and aren't willing to pay the minimum "service visit" fee to find out, these are not your guys. Maybe I just got a bad dispatcher, but I would really have liked to get an ACTUAL ESTIMATE. Also, maybe I've been spoiled, but asking to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about is not an unreasonable request in my book. ***UPDATE*** USE THEIR WEBSITE! Before I called, I had attempted to get a "free quote" on their website (no actual calculator, just a place for you to enter your phone number and name). About 2 hours after my experience with the dispatcher described above, I got a call from a technician. I'd already decided to go with another provider, but I've changed my opinion of them and might well call them again in the future.

Locksmith came out in 1 day and changed 4 locks on a rental property. Changed 2 difficult locks and didnt charge me extra.Excellent work at a great price

I was given a time of between 3 and 5pm for the technician to show up. I waited until about 5:15, and when no one showed, I called and left a message to find out what happened. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from the technician to let me know there was a mistake at dispatch, and he was not informed of my job. To his credit, he did everything he could to get another guy to come to my property. In the end, he ended up finishing the job he was at and came over as soon as he was done. I was impressed that he was doing everything he could to rectify the situation. He was very apologetic and made sure that my front door locks were changed before the day was through. He was quick, efficient and made sure I got what I needed at a great price. In the end, I had two locks re-keyed, and three sets of keys. I would use them again.

Eli was great, he replaced all the locks on our new home and was able to get them to all be used by one key. A little on the pricey side. He also spotted a problem with one of the locks and came back a week later to fix it. Great service.

The locksmith was very professional and took very little time to take out the old lock and put the new lock in. I was very impressed with the quality and timeliness of the work.

I had just joined Angie's List, when I found this locksmith. I was very impressed with the prompt & courteous service. I had been calling around looking for this hard to find lock for 2 months. . I Eli called on a Sunday and they gave me an appointment for the next day. They came during the specified time and quickly changed the lock. Very good service. I was pleased and will use them again.

We asked Eli to provide a re-keying estimate for our new home in the suburbs. He was accommodating with our schedule and was able to meet on a Saturday. He was efficient, timely, professional, and gave a very reasonable price for the re-keying. We recommend his services.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received. Eli was here on time and did a great and fast job considering the number of locks we needed changed. He even repaired a damaged deadbolt on top of re-keying it. And when one of the locks seemed difficult to turn (it's an old lock and one of the pins was overtightened when it was re-keyed), we called and Eli was there just a couple of hours later to fix the problem. It was really an outstanding experience and we'd gladly use them again.

I had a lock on my gate that was not responding to the key, the cylinders pins were off. I also had a lock to the inside entrance door where the key was getting stuck that I had work done on. He was very polite and responsive.

This is the best experience I have had with a locksmith. Eli responded with courtesy and promptness. He arrived at the time he said he would and completed the job efficiently and with professional expertise. I would recommend him very highly.
