I called at 3:23PM on Monday and the lady was able to setup the appointment for 6:00PM. At 5:38PM, Joseph, one of two locksmiths, called me to inform that they are on their way to the house. After I let them in, they immediately worked on the locks. I asked them to do an additional door at the back porch for an additional fee. They agreed and finished the job around 8:00PM. I asked for four keys and Joseph gave me only three master keys because that were all he had with him. The cost of labor and parts were $210 with an after hour charge of $65. So the total for 6 rekeys of 3 doors came to $275. I am satisfied.

Fast and quick to schedule and perform the work! Replaced two sets of locks on a condo.

We closed on our new house and called ET Locksmith to arrange for them to come change our locks. The person on the phone said they would have someone out within 20 minutes, which they were. We had 3 locks total changed -- the back and front doors and the garage. Joseph was polite, professional, and efficient. He actually rekeyed the back door locks to to match the front so that we would only have a set of 2 keys. They were great...I would definitely use them again

ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. First they were to come out between 2:00 and 3:00 in the afternoon. A little after 3:00 they called and said they were running late. The caller indicated the locksmith would be out before 6:00. Nobody ever called me. I sat there waiting. When I called back, the only thing they offered was to waive the after hours/weekend service fee, nonoe of which would have applied had they followed through in the first place. Horrible. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

I called to book an appt. and the office staff on the phone was very nice and professional. I requested service 3 days out i'm but sure I would have been able to have service sooner if i required it. The locksmith arrived on time and was very polite and worked efficiently. The price was appropriate for the work i required and the quality of the locks were great. The locksmith did leave a screw and a metal sharp piece of "something" I presume from the lock (very small about a 3/4 of an inch) on the stairs but it was really nothing and I just made sure to clean up/check the area before my dogs were allowed to use the stairs; overall it was no big deal as I am just a neat freak! I showed the locksmith my Angie's List 10% off coupon and he seemed genuinely happy that I was able to save money and let me keep the coupon for future visits if needed.

I called ET Locksmiths mid-morning Saturday to request re-keying of three locks at my new residence. They agreed to schedule that day with a 4-hour appointment window and a call 20 minutes ahead. The dispatcher called before the time was up, explained a short delay on the previous call, and offered to reschedule. I chose to wait an extra half hour, the tech called ahead and arrived shortly after. Two of the locks required only a few minutes each. The third lock had no keys. The entire job would normally take 20-30 minutes, but took two hours. The screws attaching the cylinder had been super-glued to the lock. The technician had to carefully drill out each of these four screws, which he accomplished without damaging the cylinder or lock! The technician was well identified, neat, courteous and friendly, professionally behaved throughout. He cleaned up the area when the work was done. I would use ET Locksmiths in the future, and strongly recommend them.

I have used ET locksmiths 3+ times now. Most recently our front door lock broke and a technician came out and fixed it that same day! Approx. 2 weeks after having it fixed the lock would spin (a problem with a screw, not the lock) but they sent out the same technician to fix it for free - no questions asked! Each time I appreciate the promptness and professionalism.

Overall it was a great experience. There were 2 men that came wearing ID badges around their neck so I can ID them right away. Always important since they are helping you with security. They talked me through everything that they were doing with the locks.They were both very professional and polite. The work was done quickly and correctly. I am very happy with the work preformed.

Returned my call for quotation immediately. Helped quote the coorect price and then scheudled the service. Called while on thier way to say would be a few minutes late. Arrived, performed the work well. Pleasant, competant and resonably priced.

Our locksmith was extremely professional, on time, knowledgable, and overall just a nice guy. I'm pretty hands-on and always interested in learning the tricks of the trade. Our locksmith was happy to explain everything the work that he did on our locks and even gave me a tutorial on the inner-workings of our locks. There were a couple of fitting issues the tumblers in the cylinder, but luckily he tested out the new locks extensively and was able to get everything to work properly. He cut us some new keys on the spot to save us a trip to the hardware store and that was that! I would absolutely recommend ET Locksmith and Security and I'd use them again (although hopefully that won't be necessary).

Using my purchase coupon, the scheduler was very professional; and the locksmith was very prompt. Re-keyed my entrance door and made extra keys in a short amount of time. It was great!

Overall, quick and efficient service. Very good bed-side manner. Price could be less expensive.

a little late getting there but the overall experience was very good

I purchased the deal only to find out it did not apply to the job I was having done. I had a total of six locks that I wanted to have rekeyed. The technicain advised that four of the lock could not be rekeyed but needed to be replaced. ended up calling them back two time because of problems with the locks. I would not purchase any deals from this company without first finding out exactly what you are buying.

Donnie, our technician, called courteously about 45 minutes before he arrived, letting us know the approximate time he'd be coming. Once he arrived on time, he inspected the locks that needed re-keying and went straight to working on them. He was very professional and I enjoyed speaking with him while he worked. For one of the locks that didn't work, he used a file to grind away the metal part of the door frame, which fixed the problem. Now my wife and I can feel safe and secure in our new home. Update 11/6/12: Donnie did not re-key one of the deadbolts. There was a miscommunication about whether we wanted it done because the key itself could not be the same as the other locks that were being rekeyed. I said that was fine, as in rekey it anyway, but Donnie must have interpreted it to mean not do the work. I called him about it the same day, and asked him to rekey it, and he said he could do it but would call me back. Two days later, he still has not called. I would have appreciated if he would have been more clear about what he was doing during the job and also if he would have contacted me like he said he would do. Update 11/7 I was contacted by Chuck, from ET Security, who sent Eli out the same day to address the issue.. I was very impressed with their prompt resolution of the issue and their professionalism and customer service.

I believe it went very well. Sometimes letting a person in your house doesn't feel comfortable. I was completely comfortable with Joseph's demeanor and professionalism.

Very easy to get an appointment, showed up for actual service on time (even earlier) and did the job well. I would hire them again.

I had my purse stolen while eating lunch today, so had a lot of things to take care of. When I got home this evening, I knew I'd feel better if my locks were changed since the thief had my address and keys. I called and Eli was wonderful to work with over the phone. Price seemed a little steep, but for piece of mind I was willing to do it. (note, I have never had to call a locksmith, so I have nothing to compare with). The technician, Joseph, was caught up a bit in rainy traffic in Chicago...but he was very professional and courteous. He got right down to it - changed 4 locks in the condo, 1 to my basement door and my mailbox as well. Very pleased overall with service and would recommend (and use if needed) again.

The locksmith showed up on time and rekeyed the two locks for us promptly. Very satisfy with the service.

The tech was very friendly and professional took care of the above. Gave me some pointers on another old lock I have inside. Was very happy on service when I called in for the appt, the Tech called me ahead and was on time, Did a good job on the rekey as they work and the old ones don't. I guess thats the point of a rekey :) Will use again

I called on a Thursday and was able to get an appointment for the next day. The locksmith was late coming out, but kept me informed that he would be delayed. Because he was late, they waived the $39 service fee. The locksmith was very professional and friendly. took him less than 45 minutes to re-key seven locks. Very happy. would definitely use again

Called at 9am and man came out within 1 hour and completed work by 12am . Replaced two locks.

The service was great. I called and spoke with Shai and he quoted me a great price for the locksmith to come out. They showed up on the same day about 4 hours later. The locksmith Carl was awesome, he called an hour prior to his arrival and within 15 minutes of his arrival to confirm that he was still going to come at his promised time. He re-keyed 3 doors in about 30 minutes. Carl and Shai were very courteous, prompt and responsive. I will definitely use there service again.

I called Eli this morning about replacing the lock on my mailbox in my new condo's lobby (old owner took the key with them). He said "Sure!" and then we discovered he was already in my neighborhood, and he told me he could come by in 10-15 minutes. He arrived in 10. I showed him the mailbox and went to grab my checkbook after he told me he had the part in his truck. By the time I got back downstairs, the lock was already replaced! (yes, he showed me the old lock to confirm that he did, in fact, do something.) Most unexpectedly efficient service I've received in this whole home-buying experience. Super-nice guy and clearly well experienced. Will use again if needed.
