It went well

l don't remember exactly how I found Casey Black Painting.. but I feel like I found a remarkable artist I plan to hang on to for the rest of my life. I grew up in a building family... and yet I have few skills in that realm. You ask me to paint a straight line, or tell the difference between putty and grey... and I'll pick white. So when Casey Black walked into my co op... offered suggestions... put paint samples up on my walls to help me see the different possibilities, I knew I was in good hands. And then the real work began. Casey and his partners showed up on time, every day they promised. They never left a mess behind, not even on the days when they had to sand, and that's an amazing feat in itself. The same care went into their execution of the rest of the job. They paint like they are working on a masterpiece... and what they leave for you is nothing short of that. I continue to get compliments on their painting job, 4 years after they finished! If you want a painting company that is run by excellent and honest business folk, who are also gifted artists and visionaries, you want Casey Black. If you want a slap dash one coat slop job so you can flip an apartment or house, you don't want Casey Black. You will not regret your decision to hire Casey Black... I was so pleased with the job in the end that I wanted to pay them more than we originally agreed to.. and they refused to take it!!! Imagine that.. real honest and ethical behavior during one of the most greedy and corrupt times in American business. Hire Casey Black Painting.

These guys did some pretty extensive work at my house & I could not have been more pleased with the results. Everything was done in an efficient & timely manner, and they were very clean throughout the process, doing everything they could to keep the dust to a minimum. The floors & walls looked great when they were finished, the walls are very smooth despite having some cracked plaster to deal with at the start (my home is 100 years old). They are very detail oriented & came back a week or so after the job was finished to touch up any problem spots I had noticed. The deck and garage both looked great too, and still do a year after the work was completed.

Overall, it went very well, particularly considering we were leaving for an extended vacation. The finished job was prefect. The walls were smooth, the paint lines between surfaces straight and consistent and the clean-up thorough. Casey and his crew were very professional and did little things such as removing their shoes when leaving in the work area and cleaning up each day. They maybe a little more expensive then some painters, but their quality and professionalism is excellent. Sort of the old adage, "you get what you pay for."

It went great. Casey comes in, removes or covers all the furniture, paints beautifully and puts every thing back perfectly. He does a great job accomodating our schedule and we trust him completely. We leave him to paint while we are out of town.
