Bubbles Window Washing & Gutter Cleaning

They did not arrive on time. In fact, they were more than 20 minutes late and never bothered to call.

It went well. Everyone I worked with from Bubbles was professional and polite and on-time.

They sent a rep out to take a look at the building and give me a quote to wash the exterior windows for a 3 story/6 unit condo building. When the sales rep was at the building, he saw how tall the building was and how many windows there were. I was given a quote for all of the exterior windows and scheduled an appointment. To start, Bubbles cancelled or significantly delayed a number of appointments for a variety of what are, in my opinion, unprofessional reasons (i.e. truck was running late, truck broke down, truck didn't have a tall enough ladder). After about two weeks, Bubbles finally managed to get a technician to the building and, wouldn't you know it, Bubbles called me to tell me that their sales rep had incorrectly counted the number of windows and that the price would be more expensive than what was initially quoted. This means that not only did the initial sales rep miscount the windows, but the first window washing technician (who supposedly came and realized his ladder wasn't tall enough) also didn't realize that the sales rep had under quoted the job. I needed to get the job done, so we negotiated a price above what I was initially quoted but below what Bubble's initially tried to charge during their phone call. Once that was settled, they did a reasonably good job on the windows. Bubbles recently sent me an email to schedule fall cleaning and I was willing to give them another chance so I responded to schedule service. This time, I was told that Bubbles "no longer [has] that crew with the 40 foot inside the city limits." This window washing company doesn't have a single 40 foot ladder within the entire City of Chicago. Seriously? Therefore, I would not recommend using Bubbles if any of the following apply to you: (1) you need a window cleaning company that can accurately count windows, (2) you need a window cleaning company that will actually show up and perform work within the first three scheduled appointments, (3) you need a window washing company that will honor the price that they quoted based on their sale rep's visit to the property or (4) you live in a 3 story building literally anywhere within the City of Chicago.

I arranged the appointment and confirmed it. No one showed up. When I called, the person said that the guy who was supposed to do it had to leave. I understand that things happen, but a call would have been nice.

Were able to provide service 24 hours as our initial enquiry. We're prompt, professional and careful as they cleaned all our windows, including two skylights.

Things got off to a rocky start, as it was scheduled to rain the day their employee was to clean my windows. After getting a few outsides done, the rain came and the employee left with a rescheduled day/time. On the appointed day/time window, nobody showed up. A few minutes after my time window, I received a phone call from the owner (sorry I forgot his name!) profusely apologizing for the mixup and offering me any day/time that I wanted to have them come back and get things done. He was professional and honest, in that one of his employees didn't cover the stop like they should have. Having run service businesses myself, I know this can be tough for a business owner and appreciate him calling me directly instead of having a dispatcher do so. On the appointed time, Juan showed up promptly and did an exceptional job of cleaning the windows/screens/etc. The true measure of any service company is how they handle things when mistakes happen; and the owner did a great job. Work well done, timely, and would definitely hire again.

Bubbles was great! I called to have the service performed and they came out same day in the timeframe they said they would.

Scheduled within two days of my calling, cleaned all windows, screens, and trays. It was a particularly dirty job as we had just had major masonry work done. They were on time, very efficient, thorough, and left me with a house full of sparkling windows.

We found Bubbles on Angie's list. A few days after we scheduled our appt. they called and had an issue and needed to reschedule. We appreciated the fact they called to reschedule rather than be late or not show up at all. They showed up on time for the newly rescheduled call and did a good job. We would us them again.

They gave me a quote for $175 and discount $75. When they come out balcony, ceiling above/underneath the balcony and a 2ft strip. He came and said i don't have the equipment for the job. I was very clear to what i want done. I had to sit there and wait. But no service.

They did a great job and were very responsive, there was additional work that needed to be done due to a clogged downspout that I had trouble scheduling, but they continued to be responsive and the job got done.

Although the gutter cleaning turned out well, the office management has problems. I was given a window of 1-5 PM and told that the technician would call me when he was on his way. I explained that I needed to be at home to turn on my outdoor water valve, which leaks and can't be left on continuously. I also wanted to see the work being done since I can't climb up to inspect the gutters myself. I stayed at home from 1-5, but nobody showed up, and when I called the office the next morning, I was told that the tech had been at my house at 9-10 in the morning because of a cancellation and that my gutters had been cleaned. I asked why I hadn't been called about this change--no answer and no apology. Since I did not find an invoice (it might have been lost in my pile of mail) or see any bags of debris in my yard, as I was told I would, I requested that someone come to my house and take pictures of the clean gutters to show me. Two days later, Francisco arrived and did just that. He explained that he had been at my house two days earlier but he couldn't call me because technicians are not given clients' phone numbers. The office should have called me. Francisco was very kind and patient, and it turned out that he had done a perfect job on the gutters. Later, I found the bag of yard debris in my garbage can, which should have been good news except that Chicago requires that yard waste be disposed of separately from garbage. Clearly, the Bubbles office needs to work on establishing clear (and legal) policy and communicating with clients.

The tech was punctual, kind and thorough. I would recommend this company.

Great! Now we get to see how they work once it rains - which may even be this week!

Bubbles was amazing, great work and the neighbors asked what I did because the house looked so great and they only went to work.

At first I was skeptical because they rescheduled my appointment 3 times but I guess the 3rd time was the charm. I was sent a quote and told the final pricing would be when the technician arrived to review and perform the service. My first technician was Simon and he was great at explaining the service that was needed. I had the gutters cleaned and was told that the initial concern of the main gutter overflowing would be solved by adding a downspout. I was quoted a price of $150 from that technician and told when I get ready to call and request him. I called and requested Simon and on the day of the second service I was introduced to another technician named Marco. I left for work but I called the office regarding this technician and was told that "Marco was has more experience and that's why they chose to send him to my address". He was very professional as well and put up the downspout in record time. When I returned home is when I found that I was charged the quote of $190 and Marco told my mother that I needed to call the office regarding the price I paid. I called the office and even sent an email to them regarding the discrepancy but I have not gotten a resolution. However the young lady on the phone stated "we send out a quote and the final price is determined when the work is being performed" in which I stated that I am aware that the quote was $190 and the technician stated that the job was a smaller job and it would cost $150. At no point was I offered a refund or credit for future service. I only got a "nice/nasty" apology. Overall, the technicians were pleasant and efficient at their job. The customer service was great until the discrepancy in price came about. I would recommend this service based on the technicians but I would suggest that you get all quotes/pricing in writing before and after the work to make sure that you do not overpay. They have a "NO REFUND" policy.

The appointment itself went very well. The workers arrived on time and did a nice job. Scheduling the appointment was a little difficult - it was rescheduled twice, once due to weather and once because of another job.

Phone scheduling was very nice and professional. I had the gutter cleaning scheduled a week out. They called when they were on their way and they were extremely nice. The tech that came was very punctual. But that's where it went downhill fast. The tech didn't bring ladders. I was rather confused since ladders are kind of an essential tool to cleaning gutters, right? So he said he was sorry and that another tech would be on their way. Not a big deal to me at all. So I'm waiting at home, no tech, no call. I called in after a few hours of waiting and I was told that no one was coming out. They had no techs in the area and that I would have to schedule another week out. I said, no thanks, that's your screw up not mine. What got to me, and why I though this was extremely unprofessional, was to make me believe that another tech was coming when in fact no one was and that no one had bothered to call me to reschedule or to apologize. I went with another gutter cleaning company and I was satisfied. They were professional and they were less money.

The office contacted that the technician was on the way. Hector did an excellent job and checked with me twice when he was half way done and then when the job was completed to ensure that everything perfect. I will denfinely use them again in the future.

Fabulous!!! The results are spectacular! From start to finish, the team from Bubbles was very pleasant and professional. They responded in a timely manner to my questions, and provided me with a choice of dates for the booking. I appreciated the fact that they called in advance to confirm that the technician was on his way. He, too, was professional and courteous... and the job that he did was outstanding! I will definitely use them again... and I'll make the same recommendation to all friends, family... and even strangers. ;-)

Scheduling simple and they were very friendly. Did a great job after arriving exactly when they said they would.
