The ladies arrived within the time frame arranged, did a very good job of cleaning everything, and was at the lower end of the estimate range we were quoted. We were so happy with the service that we plan to have them come bi-weekly. I especially like that they use environmentally friendly cleaning products.

It was a fairly large one-bedroom apartment in a vintage building. I hadn't done much cleaning in a while so it was pretty dusty and the window blinds were, well, gross. They originally estimated 2 hours, but I was pretty sure it would take longer than that and it did, partly because they washed all the window blinds. The place looked so nice after they were finished that I was tempted to move back in! My only complaint about my experience is that they started the job an hour after they were scheduled to arrive, which made for other delays in my plans that day. They were late because the job before mine took longer than expected. I understand the need to be flexible about times, however no one called to tell me they would be late. I didn't find out anything until I called them. Frustrating, but not horrific. Communication glitches happen. Note: in the next section where I checked "higher than estimate," I want to clarify that it was higher than the company's estimate, but because I knew it would probably take longer than they thought, it wasn't higher than I expected to pay.

Did a pretty good job. Took a little longer then I expected. I had to go back to a few places to clean up a little. I had to leave before they finished so could not check the work. I would have called them to come back but had no time. Not too bad of a job though.

I spoke with American Maids and got the estimate of $90 (the minimum charge, based on two cleaners, two hour minimum). I chose not to have an in-person estimate, with the understanding that the actual charge may be higher. I thought I set up an appointment for the following Monday, but no crew arrived-I am not sure whose error it was. However, when I called to find out what had happened, I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day with no trouble at all. Midway through the cleaning I got a phone call, explaining that the job would take 45 minutes longer than the two hour estimate. The crew did an excellent job; I would hire them again.

I left a message and my call was returned within a couple of hours. Very pleasant and responsive. Very professional. I would've hired them immediately but I require at least one team member that can take instruction in English. I know I should know other languages, but I don't yet, so I need someone who can. I have had horrible experiences in the past due to language barriers. If you don't mind the language barrier, this firm should be on your short list to hire, based on what I could tell from the initial interview.

They were able to schedule me for the day after I called. The work was very thorough, and while it took a bit longer than they expected (approx. 2 1/2 hours instead of 2 hours), they honored their quote of $90.00.

American Maids cleans my house every week and it's consistently excellent. Oksana really cares and asks smart questions. She loves my dogs, which is a big plus. I know the job is always done to perfection. Once when an old picture frame broke, she offered to pay for it. So honest, other services would have left me to discover something like that after they had left. I appreciate that they treat my home as if it's their own. English is her second language, but she takes classes and is improving consistently. I also love that I can handle schedule changes or special requests by email. Whenever we do have communication issues, Ilona is just a cell phone call away. And while I thought that would be an issue, I've never had to call her.

Excellent! I got a flier at my building, and it provided comprehensive information and was written well. I called and owner Ilona Erst, offered to come over for a "look see" to give me an estimate of how much time and how much it would cost. Two of her team arrived on-time, worked for 4.5 hours and left the place spotless! I'm so happy with them, I'm retaining them on a regular basis, every other week.
