We were matched with Skyline through our insurance company and they were very quick with the water remediation. Their team that came to pack our things and set up the dryers and cut out the drywall that was destroyed was FANTASTIC! However, our major issues were with the team and subcontractors they used to actually do the rebuild. Our cabinets, wood floor and countertops needed replacing and they had very limited options to work with. Moreover, we didn’t realized that when we signed for the remediation work we also committed to them doing the reconstruction, so I had no option but to continue to use them. The contractors were slow to get the products in and scratched the new hardwood floors. When I raised the issue to them, the subcontractor and Skyline made a special visit to my house to essentially argue over who would pay for the fix, which was essentially two wood planks, and I just told them to leave. Lastly, it’s now multiple months later and we have a leak in our kitchen sink and called a plumber and found out the work required will be $1600 because they did such a terrible job installing the sink and disposal, and completing the plumbing. I’m now trying to get this new fee reimbursed by Skyline because I have no interest in them doing the work.

I do think there is some misunderstanding of the repair work that we were contracted for as it pertains to your plumbing. We were not contracted for any rough plumbing work. We merely were to detach and reset your sink drain p-trap of which we did. Sarah from our office did respond to you within an hour of your call to our office yesterday. After a brief review of your file, she sent you a detailed explanation via email clearly showing that the amount that was agreed upon for plumbing work by your insurance and by you, was $99.00. This was the price to detach and reset the preexisting drain lines. From the photos in our file and per your Certificate of Satisfaction that you signed in August when we completed the work, we attest that we performed the work properly. Sarah then called to explain that any faulty plumbing that was done, was done prior to our work2, though offered to send someone out at no cost. You were unwilling to have a conversation with her. You refused her offer to allow us to come back and attach the drain line. You demanded $1,600 for something we were compensated $99 for, and you threatened to call your attorney and slander our name on social media if we did not pay you $1,600. We did and will always stand by our work and I am offering to send our plumber to your property to re-install the drain line, regardless of how it became detached four months later. Please call our office if you'd like for us to promptly return to connect the drain line."

I would give them zero stars if I could. They did a horrible job. The painter was also the electrician. He didn;t know how to hook up a 3 way light switch. He left wires hanging everywhere that should have been installed tight to the wall and ceiling. He barely put any paint on the walls. You could see the old paint color under the new paint. The scratched up the bathtub that I had just refinished 2 months prior to the fire. The project manager was a total jerk (I'm being kind ) He refused to fix or correct anything. He gave the insurance adjuster a hard time when he tried to get a couple of things corrected (like the light switch). My dog would do a better job than this company. They also refused to paint the closet where the fire came into the house.

This company was entirely professional and I can’t say enough about Peggy’s guidance throughout the process. I am a new homeowner living out of state and renting my house. Coordinating everything from out of state was a challenge, but Peggy was an amazing liaison that helped unify communication and progress during an extremely busy season with flooding throughout the area. Larome was also wonderful as the project manager by working with me on the billing of this project. Wonderful company and would use and recommend them without hesitation in the future.

Once it all was approved through the insurance company, things moved quickly.
Roof replaced in a day. Haven't noticed a leak since.
Inside repair work completed in a timely manner. Satisfactory.
The office staff was quite efficient and very helpful in getting messages to people involved.

They pumped out the water, pulled out the carpet, cut out dry wall and did all this work. The work they did for Remediation was extremely good and really thorough and quick. They brought in a air sanitizing equipment that clear the smell out of the basement and dry everything up, it worked 24/7. They were asking us to sign a blank form which was confusing for me before finalizing the bid.The cost was handled by my insurance company. They did a good and quick job.

Overall good. This was several years ago but hopefully same caliber of work now. Doug is very professional and attentive. He even rescued my new kitten from behind the dishwasher. Only complaint was the painers could have done better job.

My basement was flooding with water after my power went out during a storm. Skyline Restoration was able to get a crew of guys to my house within 2 hours of making a call to them which I didn't think was possible due to the severe storm and it being after 10:00 at night. They came with a generator, got my power back on, pumped the water out, removed all the furniture, removed all the carpet, baseboard and drywall. They even helped me sort and categorize all the my damaged belongings for the insurance claim. After the insurance adjuster had come through I had Skyline come back make all repairs and schedule the carpet installation. I am very happy to have worked with Skyline and recommend them to friends and family. They are even helping me with putting a fence up in my backyard.
