At Home Inspections was extremely professional in every regard. They conducted a thorough inspection and created documentation every step of the way. Our real estate agent was impressed too and she has been part of far more inspections than we have. The final report is clear and easy to understand with photos illustrating every item mentioned. I would rate my trust level of this company at 100% and will definitely use them again

This is the second time we've used Mr. Lisse. He was first recommended to us by our realtor as "the guy he would use if he were buying a new house". Jeff performs a very thorough inspection of every part of the house. He invites the prospective homebuyer to follow along throughout the whole process as he points out every high and low point of the property. He takes many pictures during the process and delivers an incredibly detailed report outlining all potential concerns, along with his recommendations on how to best go about remedying them. He also works closely with another company that provides radon testing services and can arrange for that service (at an additional charge) to take place concurrently with the inspection. I believe we may have received a repeat customer discount of around $50, so the price quoted above may be lower than what might be expected for new clients, but no matter the price, this is the guy you want to check things out for you before you invest your savings in a new home. Highly recommended.

Thorough, great attention to the details and professional. Jeff is very helpful, answered all my questions, explained the findings and even provided several approaches how to resolve and fix them in future. This is not my first house to buy, but I've learned a lot following Jeff through the inspection. No delays - I've got a 53-pages report in less than 2 days, with photos and notes taken. The report is well-structured, with all the findings briefly repeated in one Summary section - easy to browse and comprehend. Now I have a good to-do list for future reference. Overall - money well spent. I will recommend At Home Inspections to my friends.

It went very well! Jeff was very thorough and also very professional. He is easy to talk to and will take time to clearly explain his findings and he discussed our options with us. He arrived early and was extremely considerate of the time and convenience of all parties present and involved.

He was very good and gave a complete inspection. He pointed out some things to I needed to be aware of. He also gave some recommendations for me to consider.

Jeff is a careful and accurate inspector. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of systems of a building and very thorough. He also does not mind explaining things to the prospective home purchaser (I am ignorant about these subjects) and I learned quite a bit from him as we went through the building. He also answers his cell phone, and returns calls and he does not mind follow up questions. He provided a very extensive report over forty pages long within a day or so. Very quick. He moved through the building and records everything on his I pad and takes photos as well. He can spare you from buying a building that needs a lot of repair or he can provide a report that you can use in the future to prioritize your repairs after you get more funds available, letting you know which ones are safety hazards and what might be able to be done in the future. I highly recommend him.

Jeff was on time, friendly and very professional. He had an excellent knowledge level of every part of the home, and was very thorough checking every nook and cranny. He explained each item he was looking for, what he found and what it meant. For any item that had issues, he explained how it should have been done in the first place and how it can be repaired/fixed. I would highly recommend using At Home Inspections if you are purchasing a home or would like a status check on the home you own. He provides very valuable information, answered every question, and stressed that he is available to answer any additional questions whenever we want/need (whether it be next week or next year).

He inspected my home for 5 hours and didn't charge for the extra time. He sat down with me and he wrote down all of the issues with the home and was able to get started before I got the report.

Setting up the appointment with Jeff was very easy, using the online schedule feature on his web site. Jeff was very punctual for the inspection, he actually arrived early so he could get a good look around the property. Once we got inside, Jeff was patient, polite and very thorough. He checked all the main systems of the house, pointing out issues that were important. All the appliances were checked as well. Jeff pointed out some important foundation problems that I totally missed. Over all I was very impressed with Jeff's professionalism and the scope of his knowledge. I've gone through four previous home inspections on previous properties and this was by far the best experience.

Whenever I reflect on the summer we bought our home, I shudder to think how close we came to making a decision that we would have regretted for many, many years and how Jeff Lisse from At Home Inspections alone spared us that colossal burden with his sharp eyes, his thorough report, and his unparalleled expertise. The veteran Realtors we worked with on both of the homes we had under contract had never seen a home inspector as thorough as Jeff. He cataloged every detail of each home, major and minor, and explained all the factors we needed to be aware of. Anything we didn't understand, Jeff patiently reiterated, using concrete examples. In the first home we had our hearts set on, Jeff detected a series of anomalies that were not at all apparent to first-time buyers like ourselves. Without counseling us one way or another, he frankly delivered the exhaustive list of issues (most of them not apparent to us at first glance) with the home and told us the kinds of issues likely to crop up in the future. With the facts before us, we quickly realized exactly what we were buying into and we backed out of the deal. For example, one of the things I noticed about the first place was that none of the doors on the top floor seemed to close smoothly; they scuffed the floor and didn't appear to be flush with the frame. Jeff pointed out that the windows were different on one side of the unit than they were on the other, indicating that it was likely the place was sinking and that the windows had been replaced due to stress. This is something we never would have thought of on our own, and in our desire to move we were somewhat blind to details of this kind. I think it's very important to have someone on your side who can see the property for its faults as well as its merits, looking at it from a detached perspective. On the second place Jeff inspected for us, he was no less detailed or thorough, but all the issues were minor or inconsequential. Jeff made us feel safe about buying the home that we bought, and not a day goes by that we take the place--or the work Jeff did inspecting it--for granted. Jeff is among the most knowledgeable and informative people I've met in the real estate business and I don't want to think where we might be without his exceptional level of skill; instead of our dream home, we'd own a sinking condo that we'd be stuck with and unable to sell. Jeff is completely invested in his work and his clients. He was always available for information about the home buying process (exceptionally useful to first-time buyers), and very generous with his time answering our questions. Jeff is the best at what he does. I'd never make a real estate decision without consulting him.
