John and crew cane out and gave a quote. Excepted quote and they came the next day and did an exceptional job of cutting down trees and trimming others. Removed stumps and did some mulching, Very professional. Cleanup was very good . Price was lower than I though it would be.

The experience w/ J&A was top notch, start to finish. John was diligent and timely with returning phone calls. They showed up right at 8am and took out two huge pines that were right up against my house and neighbor's garage. I couldn't even tell any trees had ever been there by the time they were done. Exceptional work, exceptional customer service. I would recommend them to anyone!

They were supposed to come out Tuesday morning. But since the winds were strong today. John called and he would come out today in 45 minutes. Since he knew l was scared the tree would fall on my house. He didn't want me to worry. They are very professional, polite, did a great job, and fast. Cleaned up everything. Would recommend them to anyone.

They very carefully took down a 150 to 200 foot tall tree that was 12 to 25 feet from the house. No damage.

He showed up with a crew of 4 guys and worked hard for 4 hours.

10/2019 They responded quickly to my request for a quote and were able to complete the job in a short time. Their 3 man crew trimmed a crab apple tree, removed a large trunk & branches from a huge 5 trunk maple tree, and removed some extra wood from my property. The price was very reasonable compared to the other bids I received. They explained my options and how they would accomplish the work. They were very easy to work with and cleaned up the work area very nicely. I was very happy with the work they performed. I would not hesitate to refer them to a friend.

Well they know what they are doing however communication with John has been a real challenge... 80% of the work was completed but that was a month ago and to get them back to complete the removal of the last tree has not happened yet. When a company quotes a price, and this was not my lowest bid, and you contract a company to do a job you expect it to be completed in a timely manner. That has not happened in this instance, so we continue to wait to get the job completed with days and sometimes a week with phone calls and texts they promise to return... then nothing.

John and the team were efficient, professional and thorough. They did everything they said they would do and some. Highly recommend!

FINALLY had shrubs removed yesterday. Only 2 people responded to remove shrubs. One person called and said they would come the next day to give an estimate, however never did show up. We were hoping to employ someone locally, however, the only one who carried through was from Rockford--J and A Lawn and Landscaping. Job was completed in a timely manner and cuttings were cleaned up. We would like to have had stumps cut close to the ground, otherwise were satisfied with the job completed. There was a muffled message on our answering machine one day, however, the only word we could make out was *tree* so someone else may have tried to make a contact.

The J&A team responded to my quote request and were out the next day to quote the job and then back the following day to complete the work. John and his crew had to work around power lines to take out the two trees I needed removed; they knew what to do and were equipped to handle this. They did a great job at a fair price, were in and out in quickly and left the yard in good shape. Friendly and professional; highly recommended!

Received the call that they were responding to my request and were in the area ready to give a quote or do the job. They came by and quickly surveyed the job with a quick quote for doing the job immediately since they were in between jobs. The weather was starting to look like rain soon. Part of the job they quoted we have other people come in late in the year to clean up, trim and generally put our yard to sleep for the rest of the year. They reduced their asking price and with my direction quickly began their work with enough man power to clean up after him as he trimmed the limbs of the trees I designated. For trees I hadn't mentioned they encouraged me to allow them to trim those also. Wish now we had let them trim back all the bushes also as this was part of his original offer. They had all the equipment needed to do a thorough job and enough man power to clean up also. Towards the end I sensed they were ready to wrap it up and noticed less enthusiasm from the clean up crew. After they left there were areas that didn't get cleaned up or were overlooked, but overall they were quick, thorough, worked well together. As mentioned before the weather was starting to look as if it would be an issue and they mentioned they still had other jobs yet to do.
