We bought time and tub ourselves (Community Home supply) and they picked them up, dragged up to 3rd floor walk up, and installed.

I was very happy with Peter and his employees. They were prompt, courteous and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Peter was always responsive to questions I had or things i wanted done differently. The quality of the work overall was very good. there were a few mistakes that i asked to have fixed and Peter was always agreeable and addressed the issues in a professional way. I really couldn't have been happier. the bathroom looks great. I would recommend them and would hire them for my kitchen in the future.

Ziggy always arrived on time and went right to work; he took care to remove and dispose of all old tiles, flooring, vanity etc. and each evening - before leaving - he left the area brushed up and neat. Importantly, to us, he was observant of the rules and requirements of our condo association, regarding times, parking and that disposal of debris did not use our facility. The bathroom looks very nice and we are pleased with the job. Both Piotr and Ziggy were responsive, courteous and willing to offer assistance, as with helping to select a water saving Kohler toilet. After the work was complete, we noticed some pinhole openings at the joining of the ceiling and top of tiles in one section. It was promptly addressed - Ziggy returned in a day to make the correction. We would use Design Invention again for similar work.

We purchased the Big Deal and within one week Piotr had called me to set up a time to come and see the bathroom spaces. Upon his prompt arrival we discussed the bathroom plan, and Piotr walked me through he steps the remodel would take. We discussed where to find fixtures like toilets and sinks and supplied me with a local list of suppliers to go and check out. He also said that he could buy the fixtures if I wanted him to, but because of my personal design tastes I took on this responsibility. I had all the parts ordered and delivered to the house before the remodel took place, except for the toilets and exhaust fans which Piotr purchased during the project time. We scheduled a time for the remodel which allowed enough time for the team to work on one bathroom at a time leaving us with a bathroom to use while the work was being completed. When the time came closer to the start date Piotr called to see if his team could start early as they had finished their other project ahead of schedule.This was okay with us and the team got started 3 days early! Jesse, Greg and Piotr (who have been working together for the last 10 years) came into our house and were respectful of our space, they laid down drop clothes and taped off areas with tarps when demo-ing the bathrooms. This is a dusty process so it was understandable that our place would be dusty after this happened. The team arrived at 8am sharp and left at 5pm every day except saturday when they left around 2/3pm. Because we have a 1 year old son I left the team alone in the house as they demoed and remodeled. I felt very safe leaving my space in their hands. They locked the door and left the house as if they were never there every day. Every morning I would touch base with Piotr about what was going to happen that day and made sure they had all the direction from me that they needed, ie, which tile was for the floor, wall, which mirror and lights to use and where to place them. Piotr was helpful in making design choices, such as color selection and grout selection. For the most part the team was self sufficient and needed very little oversee. Everything I communicated with Piotr got completed, even the smallest change of the faucet handle direction amist bigger and more important installations. Once they finished one bathroom they moved on to the second one, and we switched using bathrooms, we were never with out a shower! When they gutted the second bathroom they encountered some set backs from the horrible cheap original work the rehabbers did 12 years ago. Piotr and team tore up two layers of old tile and 3" of concrete flooring! When they tore off the dry wall they found that the plumbing had not been attached to the framing correctly and that there was NO insulation of the exterior wall. They also found that our air duct stopped short of the vent about 12"s and was venting our heat/ac into the ceiling! Piotr called his AC guy to come and check all our other vents in the house to make sure that this hadn't happened elsewhere. We incurred the cost of fixing these mishaps, but felt better that they were fixed properly by the team. Piotr and team were eager to do the job correctly and to fix these problems so that nothing would happen down the road. The bathrooms look AMAZING, it took 12 days to complete, and by the end Piotr Jesse and Grey felt like family. My son was especially sad to see them leave. I recommend Design Innovation highly to anyone looking to do a remodel and will look to use them in the future when we redo our kitchen. Piotr's wife is an interior designer and he said she could come give me a consultation about our kitchen space to get ideas!

The job went very smoothly, almost exactly as I had hoped. He charged a bit more, but not much, for extra square footage and also a bit, but not much, for replacing floorboards that were in bad shape near our toilet. Our two-flat is 1925 construction, so some items like this were very much expected. We picked out all of our fixtures (the allotments in the special deal are pretty low, but if you pick something a bit more expensive, you just pay a bit more), provided item numbers and they purchased and placed, etc. It took about 5 days from beginning to end. They were extremely responsive, reliable and easy to reach. Overall I'm thrilled with my bathroom and the work. The workmanship appears to be very good. They were very thorough. The only problem we had was with the floor tile. The shower and floor tile were supposed to match. The tile store accidentally gave Piotr tile for the floor that was the slightest shade lighter from the shower. Honestly, it's hard to see the difference. A day later, when I had the chance to see the tile in full light, I noticed it immediately. However, it was already fully installed, grouted, etc. Piotr gave me a small discount. If I were to use Design Invention again, I would be very careful to check materials before they're installed to make sure that they are the ones I wanted. Check item numbers, etc. (Also, I should note, the lighter floor makes the bathroom look bigger, like I planned it that way. At the time, it just wasn't what I expected, but it is very pretty.) I'll also note that he included 3 tile shelves grouted in the shower/tub area. He did this as part of the package and they really look nice. His partner also helped place a small cabinet I ordered, cutting a small notch in the woodwork so that it would fit nicely in the tight space, a little thing that really helped. I would use them again, definitely, I just would watch the materials more closely as they come in the door.

The project went without a hitch.

I purchased two bathroom remodels and was extremely pleased with the results. Piotr was very precise and explained the work in great detail. He made sure that all work and function was explained and understood. He made great suggestions and advised in the design. His knowledge and experience are superior. He and the crew took every precaution to protect other rooms from dust and damage during construction. The work was done in a fast, timely and professional manner. Upon completion of the job, the house was left in a clean manner. I would highly recommend Piotr and his crew to remodel your place. Very Highly rated contractor!!

Peter is the owner and he was a dream to work with. He was extremely responsive. He completed the project very fast. It was about 8 total days of work. They were very respectful of our space and tried to stay out of the way. The kept things as clean as possible throughout the whole experience. He always kept a very positive attitude even when he faced some difficulties with the project. They do very quality work and I now have a beautiful bathroom.

My experience with this company was satisfactory. Peter was very understanding and explained his work step by step. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns. He was very neat and considerate. He helped me shop for the vanity, shower, tiles and toilet. His input was a factor in deciding which would best suit my bathroom since this was my first time remodeling. He even provided a cleaning service to take care of any dust in my home the remodeling may have caused. I would use this company again and hope Peter the best.

The remodel took three days. Peter was always accessible and helpful in providing advice. Because the bathroom was small Peter and Jesse worked alone in the remodel. They were professional and neat. I was extremely satisfied with the job they did and would definitely hire their company again. The job went exactly as scheduled with no unexpected problems or cost.

Piotr was professional and easy to work with from the first meeting. We described our vision, he pencil-sketched on site so we knew he understood, we received a quote and drawings when promised. Piotr was patient as we revised the design and budget, stopping by our house multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. He started the work as promised, and finished as expected. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the communication was excellent through the project. He was very neat and conscious of the rest of our house. He gave advice when requested and the choices he helped us make were outstanding. Overall, we love our new master bathroom.

I emailed Peter for an estimate and he replied promptly. I had an appointment with him the next day. He did some measurments and then emailed me a proposal. It was professional, and explained exactly what was included in the price quoted. After I accepted he actually began the work a week earlier the expected. I was comfortable working with Peter and his helper. They covered the floors and kept the mess to a minimum. They worked very hard from morning until 5ish every day. They finished the job in about 4 days except for a few odds and ends. I have an odd size bathroom and ran into the problem of needing custom made cabinets. He referred me to a cabinet company that can have them ready in a couple of days. Also a countertop company where you can pick a stone out and have that ready in a couple of days. I priced out custom made cabinets at all of the large home supply companies, and I know I saved a good deal of money this way also. I would recommend these companies again. Both are beautiful and they do very nice work. Peter raised my vanity for me rather then me having to spend more for a taller cabinet also. He kept receipts for all of the supplies that I ordered and he picked up. I went a little over the allowance for materials so I paid him when the job was complete. They cleaned up all of the trash and took everything with them. I love my bathroom and absolutely would recommend him to my friends. I will be calling him in the future I'm sure.

I feel very fortunate to have found Piotr and Sebastian. They are conscientious, friendly, and reliable; their prices are fair and reasonable; and most important for me, the quality of their work has been consistently exceptional. From start to finish, for example, the kitchen remodeling project-which was a complete gut to the bare walls-went smoothly. Piotr and Sebastian were extremely helpful in planning the work, offered useful suggestions as the work progressed, and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail and often felt they treated my home like it was theirs. In addition, they completed the project when they said they would and thoroughly cleaned up when they were finished. The new kitchen is beautiful and I have received many compliments.

He fully laid out his plans and kept us informed on the progress of the work. He completely sealed off the area to keep the dust to a minimum. The work was very professionally done.

The quality of his work is incredibly high. I'll have him back to do some more work. He is going to refinish some wood floors, remove wallpaper, do some painting, and install another section of wood floors. He's pretty informative. He is extremely knowledgeable about his work. He is a really nice guy. You can get a contractor who is really shady, but that isn't this guy. He's really concerned about doing a quality job.
