Paul and Ty are top notch people. They are straight forward with no hidden costs. If a problem is found they will show you explain the situation and the best way to fix it including the cost involved if any. The crew were obviously very experienced and professional. Very hard workers. I will recommend Perkins All Stars any chance I get.

Ty came to the house in the spring to look at the roof which was in need of a complete tear off. Ty was prompt, very nice and knowledgeable. He explained all the differences in shingles and what would be replaced, plywood, vents etc. I was very happy with his follow up and keeping in contact with me as it was a rainy spring. Once we had a date to start everything went like clockwork. The roof looks great and they had everything done and cleaned up in one day. I would highly recommend them!

Ty was able to fit me in immediately knowing I had a leaky roof. His team showed up at 8 AM and finished an entire tear off/ clean up by 4 the same day. Very knowledgeable about all products he offers.

Dealing with Ty and Perkins All Star was a pleasure from start to finish. We requested quotes from quite a few contractors. Even though Perkins wasn't the lowest price quote we received, we chose to go with them because Ty answered every question we had, offered good suggestions, made a special trip over to show us other color choices and kept in touch regarding the start date. His crew worked through some brutal heat and did a fantastic job. Our roof is fairly basic but they completed both the house and the detached garage in two days. After completion, everything was cleaned up efficiently. We would absolutely recommend them to our friends and family.

I have not written any write ups for any of the companies that have done work on my home but the last experience I have had with work done on my house has left such an indelible experience for my wife an myself that we had to share this most excellent experience. We had some pretty significant storm damage done to our house from a storm in March and needed to have the roof repaired and the house re-sided. I contacted Perkins All-Star Exteriors to get a quote and have them review the insurance estimate. From the time I spoke with Ty (Paul, the owner was not available at the time) and went over the claim, it was evident that this organization took a lot of pride and dedication to the work they took on. My house has suffered significant storm damage throughout the years (We live on Lake Marie in Antioch, IL) and there was a lot of damaged wood that was discovered once the project had begun and the insurance company did not cover this as it was a pre-existing condition. Needless to say, the job was a lot more involved than initially thought. This means that they were going to spend much more time and energy repairing the house then they thought. Dealing with Paul and Ty was nothing but an absolute pleasure. They were professional in every sense of the word and never wavered in making sure their crews were doing an excellent job. It was an incredible experience to do business with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have an outstanding job done on their home repairs and renovations. The roof was totally ripped down to the wood and replaced with excellent architectural shingles, and completed in 1 day. The siding was a special challenge due to all the rotted wood they had to deal with but they never wavered repaired everything that needed attention. I usually keep my expectations pretty low, so as not to be constantly disappointed, but they exceeded all expectations in every sense of the word. The work their crews performed was always excellent, they were here bright and early every day and worked extremely hard throughout the day. The temperature has been in the 90’s for most of June, but these guys worked nonstop from 7AM, Monday through Saturday. The finished product was absolutely incredible and we have never been so proud of our simple lake front home. Perkins All Star Exteriors is an outstanding home repair company to do business with and we would HIGHLY recommend contacting them for all your renovation needs. They completed the tare-off and shingling in a little over a day, it would have been complete but they ran out of ridge vent material and the supplier was already closed for the evening. They came back early the next morning and completed the job. I would highly recommend Perkins for your roofing needs.

I contacted 5 companies to give me quotes on tearing off and reroofing my house. Two of the companies completed a quote and then one sent me a quote and the other emailed me a quote. I was never explained anything about the product they were using or process. Tyson from Perkins came out and met with me when I was available. Tyson went over my current roof and explained that the current shingle on my roof, which was only 12.5 years old was subject to a class action lawsuit. Tyson further explained his two quotes that were already less than the other two companies. (one of them $1000, the other $2000 more) Tyson then told me about his the two packages he was offering and then sold me on the package that was $1000 less than the other package and has a 50 year transferable warranty. The job was completed over a course of a couple days, due to the spring weather. Once the job was complete and paid, Tyson still the time to answer the questions I had in regards to the class action lawsuit paperwork I had to fill out which I would have never known about if he had not told me. I would recommend Tyson and his crew to anyone whom was looking for a roof.

Tyson was very patient with us as we were making our decision and getting other bids. Was very helpful with assistance in picking out a good shingle. Did a very good job and threw in a couple of extras we weren't expecting, such as ridge vents instead of the old style. Very fast installation and cleanup. Had two small dents in the gutters and Ty had them replaced within a week and before he took full payment. Excellent all around experience and I would recommend the company for any project.

They were very very helpful an very polite. They were really great guys and I enjoyed talking and work with them.

They came out on time and did a complete tear off, inspected the roof structure and made repairs, then installed new roofing, using the necessary underlayment and reinforcing to achieve a superior quality job. Of course they're not going to be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, they took the time to do the job right, without cutting corners. I'm very happy with the completed work.

First of all, the lifetime guarantee is meaningless. Our roof was installed in 08/2013. By September we had leaks in the roof. I called the owner (Paul Perkins), my wife called the owner, we emailed over and over again. Most of the time, with no response. On a few occasions he actually picked up the phone and promised to come out.... nothing. By January 2014 we now had leaks in 4 different places. Again email and call over and over again with more failed promises to come out. In March he finally says he'll have to wait for the snow to melt. omg! So from September 2013, it wasn't until May of 2014 that he finally came out to the house. Then he said the leak by the fireplace wasn't related to his work... I gave him the benefit of the doubt. What about the other 3 leaks... OK, now he says he'll have to wait until it rains so he can see it leaking. So we call when it's raining, no response; keep calling and eventually excuses and more un-kept promises again. Fast forward to August of 2015, my wife decides to call him every day until she gets a response... nothing until she tries different phone numbers to call from and eventually she gets him on the phone. He says he will come out next week... nothing, so she keeps calling and by this time she is pretty upset. She manages to get him on the phone again and she expresses her frustration and he hangs up... it's not like she was swearing at him or anything she was just understandably upset. So then I send him an email and get a response about a week later. I told him I will take him to court if he doesn't get this resolved right away.... in response he essentially said "go ahead" and that my wife was treating him like a child and I can forget about him ever coming out to fix the roof... this is one year into trying to get the leaks fixed on the roof and he is upset with us because we were upset with him. omg! This is the strangest thing I've ever run into with a business. I still have the emails. Honestly I have on doubt that we called him more than 100 times over the passed year. Really sad situation. We spent $20,000 on this new roof and we will have to get someone else to fix it. The lifetime guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. Regarding Perkins response - 1) he says “serveral occasions” – he came back one time after about 5 months of phone calls and emails AND did not fix anything. 2) He says “replaced wood at his expense” – all wood replaced was charged by the foot. I can provide the invoice to anyone who requests it. 3) He says “chimney needed to be replaced… didn’t have the money” – ridiculous and was never mentioned at all… why would I spend $20,000 to replace the roof instead of repairing a chimney… we also spent extra money for the more expensive material, tpo vs. epdm and also spent extra money to replace the sky lights. 4) He says “it’s because of the chimneys” – first of all, there’s only one chimney, secondly the roof is now leaking in 5 places, 4 of

I requested three recommended roofers in the Antioch area from Home Advisor to interview and receive quotes on a roof teardown, new roof, six new skylifghts and gutters.Perkins AllStar had the best quote but most of all the best value for the money. They are meticulous on details and pointed out areas of concern that needed attention. Tyson was a very good sales person as well as roofer and did not pressure you on making an instant decision.
