Mark and the team were incredibly good to deal with. I have a cedar house which needed siding repairs and to be painted. The work was fabulous, the price was more than fair and the communication was top notch. I had difficulty getting other painters to even respond to my request for quotes. Mark communicated every day and exceeded expectations. I will only use Continental in the future.

We are very happy with the painting job. Mark was responsive to phone calls, scheduled the work promptly, and did a thorough job. I felt that he was honest, used quality materials and his crew was friendly and trustworthy. They also repaired some rotting wood on the front and back door. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

Mark & his team has done an awesome job in painting the exterior of our house. Before contracting the job with Mark, I have talked to 3 other painting contractors. Mark was by far the most knowledgeable. He suggested various options about the job, and helped us decide the paint combinations that would look good on our house. A day before the job he & his crew stopped by to caulk, seal & prep the area. They made sure all wood was clean & sealed before painting. During the day of painting, Mark's crew patiently painted our house. I am very pleased with their work. I would recommend them to my family & friends.

This is my second project using Mark and his crew. The first project went well enough that I immediately contracted with him again for this project. He is more than fair with pricing. The crew is very punctual and works hard every day. Mark stops in as needed to manage the project and checks for quality and consistency. The crew is very responsible and seems to care about the quality of the work. They clean up after themselves at the end of each work day. The removal of the popcorn ceiling and skim coating turned out to be more of a challenge than expected which did add a few days to the job but they worked through it and even worked on Saturday and Sunday to try to get ahead of the game. The results were excellent. The ceilings look great and the walls are smooth and have a velvet like finish on the paint. We are extremely pleased and will contact Mark for our next painting project when needed.

They were wonderful. All of the people working on the job were very capable and courteous, open to any suggestions I had. They completed the work promptly and cleaned up completely. (The paint on the porch had been peeling. They cleaned all that from the porch and the grass.) The work done is very professional and really makes my house look beautiful. Mark, the owner, kept me updated and informed with every step.

He did an excellent job in all aspects. He kept me up to date as to when he would be starting and finishing. He went above and beyond the work requested and even did some extra work for a very reasonable price. The finished product looks like new! Mark and his team were excellent from the start. Responsive, professional & courteous. They did a great job painting the interior of our entire house, we were very pleased with the quality of work. The owner (Mark) would respond promptly to any of my questions and always called if he had any questions during the job. We will be working with them again for the exterior of our house. Continental Painting and Home Improvements did the exterior painting, carpentry to repair exterior water damage, and carpentry to rebuild/rescreen an outdoor porch of our house in the Late Summer to late Fall of 2014. Mark was very good at providing a detailed, itemized quote which matched the final bills. When there were areas where the quote was approximate, such as the carpentry for water damage due to the unknown damage underneath the exterior siding/wood, he was very clear about it. Our house is rather large and it took the crew a while to prepare and paint. Overall the work that Mark and his crew did was excellent and the value for the price was good. The job took longer to start than initially communicated, but this wasn't critical in our case. I would use Continental Painting and Home Improvements for other jobs in the future.

ww Mark came to my house and outlined his plan and followed through completely. He and his brought sll of theirdrop cloths, plastic to cover my furniture, tv, tables etc. They removed every thing in my closets into great room and moved all of my content back into the rooms.. That was a tremendous help to us because of health issues. We could not have had our house painted without their help..They were excellent at painting The lines betwreen our the ceilings and the walls were perfect. At the end of each day they cleaned up any mess that was maid and took garbage with them. They did not ask to borrow anything. They patched all holes and painted. They usually went over these areas twice.Our house looks lovely. They used a good grade of paint. He and his team were honest, personable and able to cope well with contents being moved every few days. They came back for our inspection and went over any spots.

Mark's crew did an excellent job repainting our exterior trim. The cleaning and prep work was thorough, and the painting quality was excellent. These are skilled, courteous professionals who completed the job at a fair price with high quality materials. I would hire them again if and when the need arises.

Mark and his crew were amazing! They were reliable, punctual and always responded promptly to any questions or concerns. The work they did on our house was superior to any we've had done in the past. The attention to detail and craftsmanship was evident in every aspect of the job. Our daughter now has a beautiful home that she is proud to live in thanks to Mark and his guys. Mark gave me abid first and told me when he could do the job. They arrived on time and completed the job before leaving.What more could you ask for. I had other painter come and bid the job, but it took them weeks to get me the bid back and they were higher.

I contacted Continental in April and received a price quote. The quote was delivered promptly. Due to the timing, I knew there would be some delays due to the weather. That was fine with me as I was concerned about a quality job. In early June I was called with a tentative start date but that had to be pushed a week due to rain. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. They cleaned, caulked and painting everything that could be painted on the exterior. Some minor hail damage to the trim was also repaired prior to painting. They kept the job site clean and the painters were true professionals. I would not hesitate to recommend Continental Painting,

Once again - Mark and his staff showed up promptly and the work was BEAUTIFUL. I would and WILL recommend them to anyone.

Mark and Paul did an amazing job for us. They completed the work with excellence and were so careful pulling up our wood floor that we were able to simply piece it back together without refinishing!! Our new doors are now in place and our home is water tight. Much thanks!

This was a big job. Mark's team painting my whole home interior, replacing much of the baseboards as well. They also painted my exterior doors and trim and pressure-washed the home. Mark brought a large crew and really overwhelmed this project. They really knew what they were doing, and paid real attention to detail. They took care to smooth out imperfections in the walls prior to painting. I am very happy with the finished product. Everyone who enters our home comments on how nice the home looks. Mark also provided a lot of good advice on projects that I will undertake in the future.

Mark's crew was very professional, they paid attention to every detail and are truly craftsmen not day laborers. When Mark bid our job he was concerned about the condition of our last paint job. He brought the Sherwin WIlliam's rep out to assess what was going on and how best to proceed. Now our HOUSE IS GORGEOUS and I am confident this paint job wii last for YEARS!!! Inside Mark's team did an incredible job cleaning up our kitchen ceiling filling nail holes, repairing water damage, etc. It looks 10x better than it did after a previous handyman repaired it. There are 5 home owners on our street that have hired Mark to paint and repair their cedar homes after hail damage. We respect the quality of Mark's work so much that we are having him bid additional work at our house right now.

One word - SUPBERB!! I have been a homeowner in the Mt Lookout/Hyde Park area for 20+ years. Needless to say I have used painters/contractors plently of times. Although I had never had a really bad experience - Mark, the owner, and his team stand well above the rest for many many reasons!! We contracted Mark to do "some" painting in anticipation of putting our home on the market. Our "few" rooms quickly turned in to a massive whole house redo. Not only did they arrive each and every day on time, the work is exquisite! The entire team was extremely professional and there for our every need (AKA the ever growing list) . My husband was hesitant to keep asking them to do more work in fear it would put them behind on other projects. To quote the owner "we are here until the job is done" and they were. I would reccomend Mark and his team to anyone and everyone I know! Did I forget to say the price was right? Oh and they clean up to boot! Simply an amazing experience!!!

They arrived on time--did an expert job--reasonable price--they were awesome When they stained my deck they did such a 'clean' job--did not just 'spray' but used brushes--finished on time and it looks beautiful My interior painting job was difficult in that I have an old house --major cracks in walls---they took time filled the cracks/sanded and painted and fixed them and it looks beautiful-- these guys really take their work seriously--almost like it was their own home

Mark is a really nice guy and very professional. He and his team did an excellent job painting my 3 BR condo in less than a week that allowed my condo to be rented quickly. He always responded to my calls quickly and completed all the work as promised.

Our house was on the market for two months and we had a few negative comments regarding the rough finish in our basement. We hired Continental to paint our basement living area and bathroom and stamp the ceiling. Mark and his crew did an outstanding job and even fixed problem areas, in other parts of the house, all within our agreed upon price. I was very impressed with Mark's attention to detail and professionalism. The basement turned out much better that I could have ever expected. Before the job was even complete, we received two offers on the house. I would highly recommend Continental to anyone.
