Don’t use Overall Plumbing or their parent company Right Now Heating and Air. I have always believed that the best way to judge a company is to see how they handle a problem, mistake or customer complaint. When things go right no one needs to give that extra effort. In this respect Overall Plumbing has, in my opinion, failed miserably. Let me start by saying I have used Overall Plumbing a number of times in the past and have generally been happy with the service that they provided. My problem with them started November 7, 2022. It was then that my wife discovered water pooling at the base of the water heater. She called me at work to tell me and I immediately called Overall. I hadn’t been home yet to look at the problem myself so I assumed it was the water heater, so that’s what I told the dispatcher. When I got home I realized that the water was coming out from the wall. I called Overall back to let them know, I wanted them to send the right guy for the job, and told them to go ahead and bring the new heater since it was old and needed to be replaced anyway. Once there, the guy they sent tore out the wall behind the heater to get to the pipes in the wall. He tells me that he couldn’t find a leak in the pipe and the leak must have come from the water heater itself and the stream of water was so strong it poked a hole through the wall where it then made its way to the base of the wall and out onto the floor. While I have never heard of such a thing happening, I do know that under sufficient pressure water can cut steel. So he got the new heater hooked up, he had to leave it on the floor not the pad it was sitting on (it’s called a temp set) because the restoration guys have to get everything dried out and wall repaired, etc before the heater can be placed back in its permanent spot.I didn’t think I would need to watch everything he was doing after all he’s a “professional”. Later that night I went out to my garage to look at the damage that will need to be repaired and found water spraying out of the pipe that was in the wall. The genius clearly didn’t fix anything, just put a new water heater in. I immediately called Overall Plumbing back and they sent out someone else, supposedly the manager. After “fixing” the actual problem he knocked off $600 off my bill. Almost 2 months later my house was back to normal. Moving ahead to January 20, 2024. Once again my wife calls me at work to tell me we have another water problem. I raced home only to find water coming out from under the wall in the same place it was coming out before. I immediately call Overall (thinking they will take care of a prior customer) and they don’t want to come until the next day. W**? I had already called the restoration company and they were already there..the guy had a plumber they worked with so the restoration guy called him and he showed up in about an hour. So once again they tore out the wall to get to the pipes and found the hole in the pipe was roughly 2 inches away from the prior repair. I called Overall Plumbing back to tell them the situation and tell them that I want a manager to call me back asap to discuss the issue and a solution. I had to call them and bug them for 3 days…I never did get the manager but someone in the office called me to flat out say they are not liable. They never even come out to my house to look at the pipes or repairs done before and after. I did ask the lady who the owner was…she hesitantly told me it was Right Now Heating and Air. Interesting. So I go to the Idaho Secretary of State to look up the companies. Sure enough, Overall Plumbing is owned by Right Now Heating and Air (I keep digging) and Right Now is owned by Apex West Region Holdco in Tampa Florida. I keep digging (now looking at the Florida Secretary of State filings) and find that the registered agent for Apex, someone named Gideon C Moore, is also a registered agent for at least 9 other contracting companies (most seem to be HVAC or plumbing companies). The only reason to have a company owned by another company and again owned by another company is to make it practically impossible to recover any damages or to reduce any financial responsibility/liability to almost zero. This leads me to believe that they have had some pretty significant issues in the past. While neither company claims to be “locally owned”, they both act and speak as though they are locally owned. Personally I believe that companies that go to this much effort to avoid being held responsible cannot be trusted. Finally, adding insult to injury, I find out that my insurance company (Farmers) may not renew my policy in June and that my rate will most likely go up. After 40 years of both auto and homeowners premiums. This being due to having 2 claims in less than 3 years. I guess I’ll see what happens there in June. Thank you so much Overall Plumbing for not only being incompetent but for not having the integrity to do what's right.

They have the best service people and are so professional. Their communication skills are excellent and you know the company does a great job of creating the right culture. They explain everything and outline everything for you before doing any repairs. I would highly recommend them as well.

Overall pleased with the work. It took three days to get them out, but no knock on this as my work was not time sensitive. They removed an old toilet, did an inspection and description about what they found, then did a good job in installing the new one. Things to be aware of...they are not cheap. $200 to install a toilet was a bit much. Had they simply done a bid as requested, I would not have approved $200 for at most an hour of work. However they came while I was at work and went straight at it...my wife didn't know that I hadn't authorized this. I can't complain about the work and wasn't about to stiff someone after the fact, but a bid should be a bid.

I was very surprised to get a call from the plumber that very day I put out a request. He was able to come to my home that same day. He had everything fixed and I have had no problems since then. Price was reasonable. He was professional and efficient. I was very satisfied with the work, cost and time needed to fix the problem. I would recommend.

Phil, Payton, and Mike were hard workers, courteous, and solicitous. They were a joy to have around! My husband and I looked at each other and agreed, "What nice, nice people!" They took the time and used all their expertise to make every part of the job as good as, or better, than we expected.

Had a major sewage identified after a bathroom remodel and getting tired of the contractors 'guys' I decided to call who I knew and Ron came out to investigate. From the first visit to writing the check I cant express more the skill and professionalism of the team at Overall. Don't even think twice when making this choice. I even joked wishing I had more plumbing problems so I can interact more with this fantastic group, heck, even a neighbor stopped by and offered his own very positive opinion on his watching them work, true professionals he said and that says it all..

They showed up on time, did great work.  I used them once before and was so pleased that I called them back for this work.  They gave me several options for the new water heater, then instealled my choice on the same day.

Ron and Phil were the best service men I have ever had to my house for a service call. They were prompt, professional and personable. I would and will recommend them to my friends and family in the Treasure Valley. They make your company awesome!

They had someone out to do a bid within two days, provided several options and prices for the work, had the work done two days later, the men were very professional, did the work carefully (so as not to damage existing carpet/wall tile/landscaping), and left everything clean and neat when they were done.  Price seemed reasonable.  And they gave me a magnetic business card which will stay on my fridge, because in the future I won't call anyone but Overall Plumbing.

We had a basement toilet that frequently plugged. We had three plumbers in to repair. None were able to fix the problem. One said that "Kohler toilets plug, plain and simple" and that was that. Finally, we had Overall come in, and when they ran a camera through the line, they noticed a small drop in the camera, something that no one before had noticed. The pipe had a hole in it, and refuse was catching at that point. The typical monner of repairing it was to rip up the brand new expensive tile that we had laid one month prior. They were able to come up with another plan which was quite ingenious. These guys are great, and I will never consider another company.  Mike

We received a water bill from the city that was 4 times our normal rate.  When we contacted them they told us we must have a leak.  I called Overall late that afternoon and they were at our home the next morning when they said they would be.
The tech did a complete review of our plumbing including under the house and determined that the leak had to be between the meter and the house.  Further review outside confirmed the issue.  They provided us with an estimate and once approved started work.  (Within an hour of their original arrival.)  They completed the work in 4 hours with a crew of 5 men.
I cannot say enough about their service, curiously, and professionalism.  This work required them to dig up a portion of my yard, and come spring, you will never know they have been there.  The equipment they used only required them dig up a small section and then pull the pipe through.  They cut the grass into sod sections and relayed it when they were done.
Although the repair was expensive, I felt their rate was reasonable for the work required.  I would definitely call them again.

They were fantastic. Always there when they said they would be. Always put coverings down to protect the floors where they walked. Had several men all working in unison to get the job done as fast as they could. And always locked up when they left when I couldnt be there which was most of the time. It felt good to trust a company to come into your home when you couldnt be there and leave with out any issues.

This company should rename themselves, "Bandit Plumbing."  I was given two choices; I chose to have cartridge replaced
even though that faucet had only been used twice in two years.  That estimate was $179.00.  I was presented a bill
for an additional $29.00 for a "trip charge."  Seriously, folks...?!!!

It went well under Shawn's direction. The team were clean and neat. They were friendly,  fast, and professional; caring for the inside of our home wearing booties over shoes, cleaned up and vacuumed any debris after work was done. This company goes above and beyond the call of duty.  During installation of a hot water loop system, to enable hot water to the upstairs fast, they discovered a faulty install of our water heater and  corrected it as well - at no additional cost. They provided a carbon monoxide detector as part of their install of our new gas line into the kitchen. Everything is working marvelously - a-ok!
