J&J Painting

The task performed was EXTERIOR PAINTING. It was a disappointing experience from beginning to end. He had promised the painting project (two small outside windows) would be completed in one day, and it took a day short of three weeks from that original date for him to complete the project. I constantly had to follow-up by email or phone calls. Finally I told him if it wasn't completed within a certain time frame I would be looking for another painter to complete the job. He had requested a 50% payment when I signed the contract with him, so he had that deposit for six weeks before he finished the paint job.

J and J painted my oak cabinets to white in my bathrooms and kitchen. It transformed the kitchen. John provides excellent customer service and their work is great.

The contractor made good on our agreement and gave me a discount for any inconvenience. I am happy I gave him a second chance because the paint job is phenomenal.

Started 1 day later than scheduled and crew was not on time. Communication a bit lacking. Paint looks beautiful though even if it did take a little longer.

I highly recommend them and will use them again. They do high quality work, always on time, kept everything picked up and neat. The job was finished much quicker than I thought it would take. Thank you to John, JD and the rest of the crew.

Took twice as long as they committed to and was in the way of my cleaning services time alotted. The owner lied to us about talking with my realtor on color selection prior to painting. Several other issues with lost keys ect, etc.

He responded right away to our request for a quote. Came the next day, we accepted his bid & he started the next day. Finished in two days. We couldn't be happier with his work & his cleanliness. John is an all around nice guy & very honest.

I needed a job done relatively quickly, I even paid over $1000 more than other bids simply because they could start immediately. The owner put his son in charge of our work and it was so unorganized. Day one he did not show up with the right materials, that set the tone for the rest of the job. They would leave a mess at night, show up late and leave early. They did end the job on time but there were lots of frustrations and at the end I was just tired and wanted it done. The owner was a super nice guy and one of the guys was great but they weren't on this job most of the time. The son was a nice kid just not ready to take over yet.

Friendly and professional. The price was reasonable and the quality was good. They followed up satisfactorily with some minor touch ups.
