Description of Work: They cleaned my gutters, de-mossed the roof, and laid down a protective barrier on the roof to prevent excessive moss growth in the future. There was some mess from the debris off the roof and that was cleaned off and some of the windows that were dirtied were also cleaned before they left. It was very thorough, timely, and effective work.

Description of Work: I had a dryer vent cleaning and gutter cleaning. I originally also asked for a roof cleaning and moss treatment, but Simple Joys told me I didn't need them--my roof was in very good shape. I totally appreciate their honesty in telling me up front that I didn't need these services and not charging me for something that I didn't need.

Description of Work: Our most recent work with this company was window washing this week. We have used them before both at our present home and our former home for gutter cleaning and power washing as well as window cleaning. They are exceptionally reliable, professional and provide excellent services in my experience. I will continue to use them. My understanding is that they no longer do power washing so I found another company to do that.

Description of Work: We used their pressure washing service. When we first started using this company, it was just the owner performing work. He always did a great job. However, over time he hired employees who weren’t as great. One of the workers broke some of our items, and was a little sneaky about it. Therefore, we decided to stop working with Simple Joys.

+ -1 moreSimple Joys had a quick response and was fast. They seemed to do the job but it was extremely noisy. They came on time and the price was god. I was satisfied with the work at the time, but everything grew back fairly rapidly.

+ -1 moreThe set-up call and conversations went well, Jeremy was concerned I get all the information. The person assigned to do the work arrived late, but had called me at two different numbers to inform me, so no problem there. I asked a bunch of questions while the work was being done, all were answered politely and informatively. The work was done fast, efficient and to my satisfaction. I'd hire them again to do the same type of work and others they do.
Description of Work: I asked them to remove the moss on the roof, which was fairly heavy, treat the roof, clean the gutters, and do some minor gutter repair.

+ -1 moreArrived on time. Worked quickly and was polite. I would have appreciated a comment or report on the condition of the gutters. They still leak over my deck and this was not mentioned, for example, if they were rotting, narrowed,m clogged, etc..

+ 0 moreNiel was on-time and worked hard all day long. He was polite and respectful. The work was good, but some parts of the house didn't come clean, especially at the top of the 2nd story. Niel told us it was because the dirt had ground into the paint. Some of the paint peeled, which we'd expected. Some water came through the windows, which we hadn't expected but have been told is normal in older houses. The windows looked fabulous, although he missed some small paned windows on the front door. Overall, a good experience, but it wouldn't hurt to supervise more closely than we did.
Description of Work: Pressure washed the house, cleaned exterior windows and pressure washed and treated a deck in preparation for staining.
