 + -1 moreThey performed a pressure test on the fuel line, checked other stuff with the engine and transmission. Had them install a new tank. Still having the issue. Just need to take it by the shop again and show them what is going on.

 + 0 moreNot too good, charged me $1700. to replace with a used transmission that I know only cost $400. The car kept leaking transmission fluid after repair, had to take it back 5 times before he finally listened to me and replaced a seal. While he had it on the lift looking for the transmission leak, he said the only leak he saw was a rear main seal. But...he couldn't tell me about the seal leak while he had the transmission off and make that repair then.

Description of Work: Replaced fuel tank, cleaned fuel line & rebuilt the carb on my 1965 Ford Falcon. They did a great job and in the time that they said it would take. They stand by their work and will make any problems that you have with it right. They took real good care of my car, keeping it inside overnight. They called each day to let me know how it was going and anything that they needed to do that we hadn't talked about before proceeding with the work. They have respect for older vehicles. I would use them again & would recommend them to anyone who has an older vehicle they really care about that needs work. You can trust them to take care of it and do a good job.

 + -1 moreI took my p/u truck to these guys when it was making a terrible noise under the hood. A mechanic came outside and diagnosed the problem in about 15 seconds...a blown water pump allowing the pump, fan and belt to move around and cause a lot of noise. They gave me a quote showing me the actual cost of the parts and the labor. I found a 10% off Angie's List coupon on their listing and they honored it. The staff was very cordial and extremely knowledgeable. Overall, a great experience. I have finally found a mechanic I can trust so I don't have to deal with the dealership!!
Description of Work: Diagnose and replace water pump and seals, thermostat, inspect serpentine belt, drain and replace radiator fluid and antifreeze, inspect fan bearing for wear.

 + -1 moreGreat. Car was towed to shop within the hour of me contacting them. 10 mins after received phone call that it was running fine and they wanted to diagnose overnight. Next morning, was contacted with the problem and the cost and gave ok to fix it. Car was ready that afternoon and we picked it up the following day due to our schedule.

 + -1 moreIt was very simple, we were having problems get the truck into gear. We took it to the shop that does the oil changes to have them check it out. They found nothing wrong with it. It continued to give us shifting problems. We checked Angie's List and took the truck to them. They called us the next day with what the problem was and price to repair. Work was completed in two days.

Description of Work: My Cadillac SRX had a timing problem, but they could not do the job because they were not set up for this type of service. This is unfortunate, since this leaves only one dealership in the Middle Georgia Area who performs this kind of work - another dealer in Macon. They did a good job, but it took several different mechanics to finally repair the problem (which took several months to complete). The other dealer was very good about providing me with transportation during the prolonged repair time.

 + -1 morehad just gotten car back from transmission shop and was not running right and knew it was not a transmission problem. Took it to Kitchens and was told of the problem. He called and told me what was the problem before he did the work. He got the work done. He also told us that he repaired the sensors to keep from having to replace them. He told us that it would save us money.
