Sudlow Concrete

I contacted Sudlow Concrete based upon my research and reviews found. They were most prompt in returning my call, following my request for a quote via their web site. Three or four days later Mr. Sudlow came to the house, provided an estimate (which I accepted) and within 10 days I had new driveway - a very long, sloping and winding driveway from the street - approximately 3,700 square feet of driveway. The removal and installation crews were very professional and knowledgeable, given I needed to have the new driveway slope away from my house for water flow control. The old driveway was removed on the first day, and the second day the new concrete was down and completed. Sudlow Concrete exceed my expectations for work completed and I would highly recommend them to any and all who are looking for a quality organization and "nice people".

Sudlow Conrete had the major portion of an expansive project that included separate work by another contractor for the installation of helical piers to stabilize the house's foundation. Such required close coordination between the two contractors and the scheduling of their respective work efforts in a prioritized. orderly, coordinated and sequential manner. Sudlow did an excellent job in planning for and accomplishing its work on both the driveways and the retaining wall. Ground prep work and soil compaction was properly completed, reinforcing rebar properly installed, and connection of upper driveway to retaining wall was really done right. Slope of both driveways is excellent (absolutely NO puddles or standing water on either driveway surface after a number of really heavy rains). Finish work of the concrete is outstanding, and the edge and groove work is the best I've ever seen. Can't say enough about the attention Sudlow paid to properly preparing the foundation for and the building of the poured concrete retaining wall, and the resultant quality of the work as was performed. Workers were courteous and professional, worked fast and efficiently, and were quick to answer questions and explain the work being done. In fact, Sudlow's work crew was perhaps the best group of workers that I've ever encountered. Sudlow's manager for the project - Aaron - was especially responsive and attentive, and stayed on top of the work from start to finish. Sudlow kept in constant contact over the course of the project, was responsive to my comments and requests, and fell over backwards to ensure that I was satisfied. Clean-up was thorough and complete. The owner, Bill Sudlow, made in-progress checks and followed up after all work was completed to ensure that I was satisfied with his company's work and final project outcome. The total project cost was not only lower than 4 other estimates (significantly lower than 3 of them), but it also included additional work that the others did not. The estimated project cost was in fact the final cost (no over-runs or hidden costs), and it was worth every penny from the standpoints of quality of materials and workmanship, performance and outcomes. I'm no stranger to construction work, and I know a good company when I encounter one. Sudlow Concrete absolutely ranks at the top of my list for concrete work, has my unequivocal endorsement as a reference for their services, and will be the only one I will use in the future for any kind of work that falls within their area(s) of expertise.

Sudlow did an amazing job. The team was very professional and courteous. The finished work is the best that I have seen. Our questions were answered to our complete satisfaction and everything they said they would do, they did. Highly recommend them.

Kristi is just amazing, she is responsive, fast, informative, easy to do business with! During my project she more helpful than the project engineer! Everything went smooth, the process took a bit longer due to permits but other than that, awesome.

The price came in as the low bid. The crew came in and performed demo one day and poured the next day. The job came out great. The crew was hard working and delivered exactly what I expected. I would use Sudlow again.

This review is done with all sincerity and from the heart! There are not words to express how pleased I am with this company! My beautiful new driveway is as close to perfect as anyone could want. A while after it was installed and paid for, an issue arose (which was totally beyond the company’s control) the owner of the company came out right away and had the problem corrected...with no hassles or additional cost. Sudlow Concrete Company is not like most companies these days. These people are HONEST, have INTEGRITY, are CARING and they are not truly satisfied until their customer is satisfied! Look around if you want...but if you need any concrete work done you would be foolish to use anyone but Sudlow Concrete!!!

We needed to get our steep hill of a driveway replaced because it was cracking and sinking. Bill came by and gave us an estimate and was thorough in explaining to me what he would need to do, including excavating out the pit that was sinking the driveway, backfilling and regrading, and pouring the new driveway. When work day came, they started bright and early, and the crew did a great job. The finished product is excellent and we're very satisfied with it. The driveway is now several degrees less steep, and textured for better traction. It's nice to not have a crumbling driveway that feels like climbing Everest. I would definitely recommend Sudlow Concrete for your concrete needs, and I do plan on using them again in the future.

Took a little longer than planned due to waiting for the brick order from North GA for the edging. Very happy with the quality of work. Excellent brickwork.

Very professional and experienced concrete team. Punctual every day. The whole process was very efficient and I was kept up to date on everything throughout the whole process. I went over my unique and special requirements with the owner and his crew chief and they knew exactly how to handle everything and the result is a beautiful, perfectly functional solution. One corner of my concrete driveway had started to crumble and needed to be replaced with new Comcrete paving. Sudlow concrete was easy to contact for a free estimate. Bill Sudlow arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation, giving me a fair price. The work was scheduled promptly, done quickly & professionally (I was especially pleased with the finish & cleanup). I would recommend them to others.

We did have a problem with two batches of concrete not matching, it was the concrete companies problem. Bill got them out to look at it, they admitted fault and had the problem area removed and replaced by Sudlow. There workers are excellent and showed it both times at my home......Bill White

Working with this company was refreshing at every level. From Kris in the front office to Aaron doing the estimate to meeting Bill and the gentlemen who worked so **** ** a very hot day. The work was done and was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this company as I have had other negative experiences with other companies.

While Sudlow Concrete was not the most expensive or cheapest, they were the most professional. Aaron and Kristi were great to work with. The work was just completed to specifications in a timely manner (we did have to reschedule because of rain - - not their fault). The crew worked hard and left the site clean and free of any debris. I recommend them highly.
