He has not finished yet, he has to wait until my cabinets come, however, so far he has been a man of his word, been on time, very courteous and friendly.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Run and I mean fast!!!!! I just wanted an outlet and two wires run in my basement for a future project. The owner sells the service and seems to know the job well, but the two guys that came out where a side show. One of the guys cut the light switch outlet pulled the wires to it and also pulled down most of the insulation in my ceiling. They did half the job and gave me instructions on how to do the rest. I was in shock to see all my insulation on the basement floor from the ceiling that I didn't realize he was giving me instructions on how to finish the job till after they left. I called Mr. Troy and spoke to him several times in which he promised he would get this resolved. Him and his crew where no shows and he stop answering the phone. his voice mail was full so couldn't leave a message. they got me so I'm writing this review in hopes of saving someone.

The price seemed very high for the work done. They reused materials which I did not expect, I wanted updated materials.

Troy is a good salesman. You can tell he knows the business. I had a job to remove existing lights and fixtures to install recessed lights in two rooms and add a dawn/ dusk timer on an outdoor lamp post. We hired HIM and he sent two guys out to do the work. They were late a couple of hours to get started and that was a prerequisite for the rest. One had a broken arm and a temper- he was instructing the other guy as they went along. I live here but my house was treated like a new build. Mess- sheetrock, wires, holes everywhere, dust - NO COVERS -NO CLEAN UP. They broke a panel of glass in my lamp post installing a relay in addition to losing all of the screws to it. They screwed one new bolt and left it. I have holes everywhere! They didn't even put switch covers on the two that they were adjusting. It was a one day job that went through 2 and a half days! I took pictures. It's incredulous. I sent the pictures to Troy. Of course he's all, "I didn't know." promises to make it right. I give him the next off day that we're available. Hubby calls at around 2 in the afternoonon the day I told Troy to come. Troy tells him I had the wrong day. Promises to send the same wrecking ball crew that did the original damage out the next day. (He told me on the phone that he would send his best sheetrock guys) Hubby waits the whole next day. No shows- no calls. Hubby texts Troy after repeated calls with no answer (voicemail is always full) Apparently there was an emergency and Troy didn't know that they weren't here. I have so many holes in the walls, ceilings, and even a crawl through size cut out in a spare room upstairs so they could access a specific part of my attic. No holes repaired! My lamp post is damaged. I am really confused about why these guys didn't use a stud finder instead of trial and error holes all over my home! Two rooms for recessed lights and I have damages in three rooms that are absolutely ridiculous! We're looking into small claims court. I really trusted this site but I really got a crappy job and now I am having to come out of pocket for repairs in addition to the money I've already paid to Troy Bettis. All of the reviews I read were great about Troy. I am really Dissappointed. Buyer beware. He's the front man and sends yahoos to do the actual work. I would even go as far as to question the licenses of these guys he's subcontracting work to.

He was hired to do a job and it wasnt completed and he didnt return calls or follow up. He has the worst customer service.

my problem was solve

I had a problem with a bank of outlet in the kitchen as the stove refrigerator and microwave would intermittently lose power. I was afraid it would become a fire hazard Troy came to my house told me it was not the main circuit and was able to find the problem and make the necessary repairs. He said since he was already at my house he would checked out my stove. He showed me a potential problem and said he would fix it at no extra cost. I would use him again.

Troy was very professional and personable. I appreciate that he was able to quickly fix my problem with the light on my fan. While my appointment time was for 10:30 and I had not seen the repairperson by 11:30, I appreciated that when I called Troy to let him know no one had arrived yet, he immediately took steps to resolve the situation and came himself to do the job. I understand that things happen and was apreciative that Troy was sorry about the delay. I will call him again when a need arises.

Mr. Bettis was the first to contact me very soon after I requested service on Home Advisor. He listened to and clearly understood my service needs and gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone. We agreed to service the next day as I needed to make arrangements with my tenants. His two employees, lead by Mr. Jones, called me and were there on site at the agreed upon time. The work was performed quickly and courteously they even showed the tenants how to change the light bulbs in the new fixture. Though it was a small job I was very pleased with their work and professionalism and I will be calling them again for future electrical projects. I highly recommend Troy Bettis Electric!
