Things went very well. Preston and David came and installed a new heating system for us. They removed the old one as well, and the new one has been working perfectly.

It went well the first time, they were very good at finding and fixing the problem. They did not hesitate to come out and service my home again and even replaced two shower knobs when they replaced the two faucets.

This was a challenging job to do because it involved getting from original house to an addition where there is no attic access in the addition. Ultimately the solution was to run in the attic of original house then down through a hall wall and in the hall and living room walls to come in behind the plumbing in the addition where it shares a common wall with the living room. That meant cutting the sheet rock in the hall and living room to expose the path to take. It also meant running the entire length of the attic. Preston cut the sheet rock very carefully in tidy slabs, which he removed carefully so they could be put right back in with no need to cut and fit new sheet rock. My sheet rock guy could have kissed em! It made his job much easier and faster. They installed separate cut off valves for the fire place and water heater, both of which they hooked up to the gas and neatly cut off the old supply that had come out of the floor as well as putting a cut off valve at the point of origin in the original house for this gas run. They also considered where the best pace to hook into the the supply in the house was so as not to impact demand from my gas furnace. they tested everything The whole thing took about 4 hours. They cleaned up completely and were professional throughout. Their price was very reasonable. David Joseph and his people live up to his commitment to go the extra mile. I will use them for future needs and recommend them to my friends.

Dave first came out to discuss our options -- traditional vs tankless vs hybrid heat pump. Also recommended an instant-on devices that allowed us to get hot water more quickly to our master bath on the other side of the house. He came out on the day scheduled, was very careful to lay down tarps to protect the floor (it was a rainy day) and completed everything that same day, as planned, and for the price he quoted. He did a great job! Everything works as it should. He was a nice guy, very professional, knew his trade well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Better than expected. Over the past few months, our water bills were showing more and more unexplained usage. We were very concerned what the remedy would be as our water line - from meter to house - is approx 150 ft. We contacted David Joseph because we had used him before (prior to our joining Angie's List). He responded immediately, David's experience immediately isolated the leak's location, and we scheduled a mutually convenient date and time to repair it. His son arrived when promised and the leak was quickly remedied, with no surprises. The repair site (planting area) was returned to it's pre-repair appearance. Besides the problem being fixed in a professional and timely manner, the bill was less than quoted. An excellent experience from start to finish.

David Johnson and HIS Plumber were recommended by a retired home inspector whose recommendations I hold in high regard (based on excellent experiences with every person he's recommended.) This experience was no different--Excellent! David Johnson is a true professional. He does what he says he's going to do, he provides high quality plumbing services at a reasonable cost, and he's a good person -- the kind of service provider you can trust and would want working in your home. Our old hot water heater was tucked into a very tight space and removal/replacement would be challenging. The original water heater installer had "rigged" a connection through piping with our HVAC that was out-of-code (spotted by both my HVAC service provider, ANM, and David Johnson of HIS Plumber). As I commented in my review of my excellent HVAC service provider from ANM Heating & Air, Jeff Laratonde, David and Jeff worked together very well to make sure the installation of both our new hot water heater and HVAC system into a very cramped space went as smoothly as possible and would enable easy ongoing maintenance for any service provider. When looking at the space, understanding the changing needs of our family, and through a coordinated effort with Jeff at ANM Heating & Air, David Johnson and HIS Plumber was able to fit in an even larger high quality Rheem hot water than we had previously in the space. Moreoever, the layout of the David's plumbing, including the new drain pipe to the outside, looks very clean and professional, unlike the previous piping from the original installer. In addition, in an unrelated job, we had an old sets of clear "plastic" Price Phister faucet fixtures that were difficult to clean and hat become stained. Moreover, the screw in one of them had become stripped over time. David was able to drill out the screw without damaging the faucet, and used his contacts to obtain and replace the old faucets with a metal ones that used the same faucet mechanism. Finally, in another unrellated job, the drain plug handle for our master bathroom sink had broken after 20+ years of use. David's son Peter replaced the impacted connectors and drain components. My drain plug is working better than it every has. I would highly recommend HIS Plumber to anyone who is looking for great plumber that you can trust.

The water tank replacement was completed as agreed upon in price and schedule. David definitely values his customers by his prompt response times and honest work.

My water heater sprung a leak and flooded my home. After calling the insurance company and a water remediation company I contacted David Joseph based on a neighbor's recommendation. I left a message at approximately 7:00pm and received a return call within an hour. I explained my circumstances and the need for a specific type of water heater. David apologized for not being able to immediately give me an appointment time because he would have to check with vendors in the morning to secure the water heater. He promised to call by 9am the following morning. He called back before 9am and said that he located the heater, was going to pick it up and had made adjustments to his schedule that would allow him to be at my home by 12noon. He met the timeline, removed the old heater and installed the new one including new copper pipes all within 2 hours. I was very pleased with his work and professionalism.

Tried to solve the issue of my sprinkler system causing a rattle noise in the house for years. I talked to plumbers and sprinkler experts but no one could solve the problem until His Plumber. It has been over a year and I have not heard one single rattle. I will call His Plumber the next time I need help with my plumbing.

Very well. We called David on Monday morning, 3/8/10, and he was able to come out early in the afternoon to look at the problem. It was a defective bathtub spout (we purchased independently over a year ago), which he initially installed in about June/July 2009 (did great work then, too). He repaired the spout in a very short time (total time here was about 15-20 min.), and then asked for only about enough to cover gas for the service call! To sum it up, he was prompt, very courteous, efficient, and more than fair on his price! Will definitely use His Plumber for any plumbing needs we may have in the future.

The quality work was fine. He gave an estimate over the phone of a $135. He didn't give a time of arrival and we waited for him all day and it was inconvenient for us. We called the number he gave us and a women answered and said that he would be there after work and that was how we found out he has another job and did plumbing part time. She said he would be here between 5 pm and 5:30 pm, which he was. He finished in an hour and a half and when he finished he gave us a bill for $170 which was more than what he quoted us.

DAVE WAS QUICK TO RESPOND, TOOK CARE OF IT WITHIN 2-3 HRS AND SUGGESTED SEVERAL IDEAS TO PREVENT PROBLEMS IN FUTURE. HE'S CREATIVE AND COST EFFICIENT.
