The overall experience was not a good one. The owner is pleasant enough but the workers were very laxidazical. Smoking and throwing cigarette butts everywhere. The price was, I found out after the fact, very overpriced. The owner unloaded the metal for the roof in the front yard during the project and after a week made accusations that some of the metal was missing and I was going to have to pay for more to have it replaced. He admitted that they did no count of the materials at the location of pick up due to it being prepackaged on a trailor for their pick up. I refused to pay for more. I had to have part of the roofing taken off and replaced due to  having such wide gaps in the metal and it not lining up as it made the drop from the top to the eave. I was told it was fine it just didnt look the same as the others. I had to argue for a week to have it redone. It still didnt get done properly. Still has patchwork sites all over the roof. Fortunately, none of the patchwork is leaking yet. Still got major leaks around the chimney and it hasnt been repaired yet even after paying for his stone mason to come back out and regrout the chimney.
The porches arent so bad but there are boards that werent even nailed down and some of the railings were put on upside down. Was told to let the wood " dry for 6 months" before staining and sealing. In that six months, the wood got stainded by all kinds of things and now has to be painted to cover it all up. The pylons that support the porches werent replaced and not put back in the places where they came out of and now either I have to jack up the porch and replace them or have all the trim around them replaced completely.
All in all, I will not use them again for any project.

I paid him a week before he said he was finished.  It took 4 months for him to actually finish the job after I paid him.  He skipped over several things that I had hired him for, he didn't clean up after themselves and he didn't complete the list.  I had selected paint and the brand and color...he ran out of my paint and used his own to finish, and it didn't match. And wrong paint was purchased after I gave him a sample.  They didn't use primer over the old oil based paint, to use latex and its peeling off.  The cracks on the wall are cracking again after they repaired them and painted. There was no paint on the closet doors and all the clothes were white from sanding.  Everything in the kitchen cabinets were white from dust.  They used no tape on doors or closets to seal. The house is still not complete and had to wait 3 months for him to come by and finish the job.  To this date its still not completely done and the job was not very good. They left paint on the carpets, bathroom file and black tile in my kitchen and hallway. They left paint on baseboards. They used the wrong paint in the bathroom and left the walls very rough looking after they removed the wallpaper.
