The Hired Gun Power Washing

Our three story house was badly in need of a good pressure wash, so we turned again to the Hired Gun. When you find someone that is reliable, prompt, reasonably priced, and gives all around good service, you return to them! Roy does an awesome job and although it had been about three years since we had him out, he remembered us and gave just as good a price as he had before. This time he not only did our house but also our decks and everything turned out sparkling! I would not hesitate to recommend the Hired Gun. Roy is our "go to" person for getting a terrific job done!

I knew how it was going to look before he started; after all, Roy had done this job before. He obviously takes tremendous personal pride in a job well done. I always feel like it's my brother who's taking care of this emense pressure washing task for me. I guess that's because Roy has a sincere caring and understanding demeanor when you first discuss what needs to be done and then he follows through on the plan, plus does extra if he thinks it will look even better. Honestly...I think my brother would charge more.

We were looking for someone to clean the exterior of my father's house on a short timeframe - my father had been in the hospital throughout the spring, I was commuting from my home in Louisiana, and the HOA had given notice about the mold that was growing on the siding. This wasn't the cheapest quote, but from the reviews on Angie's List (which I had to rely on heavily because I was managing this from another state), I was confident that the Hired Gun (aka Roy) could do the job right and, most importantly, without doing any damage to the house (which is a bit older and has some vulnerable spots). Given our situation and the long overdue HOA notice, Roy worked us in on a Saturday so that we could say that we addressed the issue before the end of the month. The house looks great - Roy took the time to remove all of the cobwebs (of which there were many) before washing, and he was thorough without being overly aggressive with the power-washer. A great value, especially considering the peace of mind for both the quality and the timeliness.

Roy demonstrated outstanding communication skills as he checked with me when calculating his estimate and before the job started. He let me know exactly what to expect and let me know if he was running late. On the day of the job, he arrived early and got right to work. Our house looks like it has a new paint job again, and our deck and patio are much more pleasant to use now they are clean. He also pressure washed our walkways and the stone wall in our yard. I will definitely use him again and I would highly recommend him.

Dazzling results. So clean and bright after years of debris and mould. I almost wished that i had my sunglasses on. We are thrilled. We have used him previously (14+ yesrs) for our brick home and screen porch with excellent results.

With mold and mildew on our white house, I began the search for a power washing company. I got 5 different quotes, the highest for $395 and the lowest for $302. Roy beat every single one by a landslide and the quality of the service was top notch! When we first chatted, he mentioned he was very busy but was able to squeeze us in within a week or so. All of our mold and mildew is gone and it looks like a brand new house. I would definitely recommend The Hired Gun for both the best in price and great quality work.

I reached out to Roy due to all the positive reviews on Angie's List. I called Roy Wednesday April 25th to see about retaining his services and left a message. Roy called me back later that day and we discussed what I needed done. I wasn't in a rush to have the work completed but due to an opening in his schedule and my flexibility, Roy was able to come to my home the very next day. Roy pressure washed my home, driveway, walkway, and patio. He did a fantastic job on all of them and I was amazed at how good they all looked. My wife "The Boss" was very pleased and happy with his work as well. Roy was very personable in explaining what he was going to do and he was extremely nice and friendly. I will definitely retain his services in the future and I will also recommend him to family, friends, and anyone who needs the type of services he provides.

Roy does excellent work. He was scheduled to pressure-wash our house on a Monday, but as the day grew close, high winds were forecast. Instead of just cancelling, which would have been very disappointing, he called to ask if he could come out on the Sunday before. He worked tirelessly, in the rain, and left our house spotless. He is also a very nice person, a pleasure to work with. Hire him.

This is the second time I have used him - of course the name makes you remember him easily! so glad he could help me clean up the sidewalks and stairs to my townhome for the spring ! I reached out to Roy (the Hired Gun) after reading the many positive reviews on Angie’s List. I’m glad I did. He’s a keeper. Roy pressure washed our front steps, two walkways and patio. They turned out great. And at a great price. Roy is successful for three simple reasons. First, and most important, he does the work himself. You can’t underestimate the importance of this. There are so many service providers that send out “crews” or hourly workers. These workers are rarely “invested” in the company and are often here today and gone tomorrow. Over the years, the highest quality of work we have received on our home is when it is performed by the owner(s) of the company. Second, Roy genuinely enjoys what he does and genuinely cares about your satisfaction. Again, you can’t underestimate the importance of this. As a result, you receive quality work. Third, he is very reasonably priced. Oftentimes, if a bid comes in too low, we discount it on the assumption that it’s too good to be true or the quality can’t possibly be there. That’s not the case with Roy. He has no overhead and has no employees. As a result, his rates are great. It’s worth noting that Roy also pressure washed, at no additional charge, portions of the back of our house that we plan to paint in a few weeks.

Roy was fantastic. He stopped by the same day I called. The price was right so we sealed the deal. He came out as scheduled and did an excellent job for us. He washed our driveway, front walk and porch. Will definitely refer him to others and will use him again in the future.

Well for the most part. Originally concerned that there would be limits to how well he could clean parts of the house that were high off the ground or not easy to reach. Concerned that he didn't seem comfortable being watched while working (I tend to check up on service providers that work on my home to ensure they are doing a job well). Found after the job was completed that most of the house looked great, but that he had not cleaned one area of the house well (was a hard to reach area). Asked him to return and clean again - did not seem happy that I had asked and questioned how I know the area was not clean (I walked the roof to view). He did return and re-clean the area, but was in my opinion not happy with me. I would recommend to anyone hiring him that you ensure he can effectively clean all areas of the house, especially if the house has high or hard to reach areas.

Roy did a fantastic job. He's extremely punctual, honest and just a great guy. I wish I could hire someone like Roy for all of my home projects.
