The Hired Gun Power Washing

We could not have asked for better care! The brick steps, entry stoop, and brick walkway looked newly installed after he finished cleaning them! Since the back of our home is quite shaded, we had a lot of dark mold and mildew on the screened porch and the facing under the gutters. The deck also showed mold. Roy did a fantastic job of removing all of the dirt, mildew and debris without damaging any of the wood or carpeted surfaces. The deck looked as if we had just reapplied stain! The fine mesh screening on the porch even looked cleaner and was not damaged by the process. Roy was friendly and very professional. We will happily contact him again in a year to clean the house and I will recommend him to our friends

Nice job Roy. I would definitely use him again. He understood the areas of my house that were likely to suffer from high pressure water and steered me away from considering those. That is also an important part of the job. Understanding what you can't do.

I had called him for a last minute job that I wanted done that day, he agreed to come out 1 hour later because it was the only time he had free since he was booked for the rest of the week. He was totally flexible on his schedule to make room for me and took pride in the work quality, that matters to me a lot! He was awesome, it looked like he had a lot of experience doing this. He used a rotating power brush with the pressure washing to loosen the hardened mildew stains and get deeper into the concrete surface basically physically scrubbing the concrete with brushes while pressure washing with water. It does a much more thorough job than a single stream of water does! He finished up with a bleach diluted solution spray to create an extra whitening effect on the areas as well. When it dried, it all had a new and whitish appearance, not stark paper white, more like off white with a subtle tint of grey. The whole time he was working, he had a great sense of humor and enthusiasm for the work. He could talk all the lingo of the business and show you all the areas outside your house that might need attention later on and where it was accumulating the most decay and mildew buildups. He was able to point out potential issues I had not noticed or had grown accustomed to and really educate me on exterior house cleaning methods, concerns, etc.

Roy was super responsive and called me back within a few minutes of my leaving an initial message for him. When inclement weather pushed some of his other jobs back, he was great at communicating his schedule and working with me to find a new mutually agreeable day and time. He provided a very clear scope of services associated with his quote and did an amazing job of cleaning years' worth of accumulated grime off our patio, brick, and siding. The house looks great, nothing leaked or was damaged, and we will certainly contact Roy again.

Scheduling went smoothly however he arrived 15-20 minutes late. The late arrival wasn't too much of an issue (I had previously told him that I had an appointment to get to that morning but it was scheduled for an hour and a half after his appointment time so it didn't delay me)..but the attitude was a problem. I was on a phone call when he arrived but placed the call on hold long enough to ask what he needed from me to get started. He asked that I move the cars out the driveway and where water spout was located. No problem. Pointed out water and Continued call while moving cars. Then he says 'can you call them back later?' Uh no. I asked what you needed, you answered, I acted. What's the issue? When I completed the call, within 5-7 minutes of his LATE arrival, he says I was trying to conduct some business with you. I stated that my call was business as well and it was definitely more important than having my home pressure washed. Had he arrived on time I wouldn't have been on the call. AND there was no apology for the late arrival only attitude which I can only assume was because he would be running late to the next job. Not my problem. I scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time and confirmed 3 days before. My assessment: Rude Attitude aside, I have no complaints about the results. The exterior looks great so if you can deal with the rude behavior this is the business for you. As for me, I will likely not use again.

Roy did a spectacular job! I couldn't be happier with the results. He was right on time and did a thorough job. My house has NEVER looked better. Will definitely use him again. My highest recommendations! He was careful and consideration of my property making sure everything was removed before he started. The price was fair and I added more things to be cleaned. Use this fellow, he is a Star!

Roy was very professional. He responded to my voice mail within a couple of hours. He scheduled a time to review my project and arrived within minutes of our scheduled meeting time. We reviewed what needed to be done and he provided an estimate complete with details of when and how the work would be done. I researched his company and 3 others and received quotes from all 4. Both his and another service were the same price. The other two were SIGNIFICANTLY higher. One was over twice as much as the lowest two, the other was 60% higher. Roy showed up on time and was professional throughout the day. He had several tools which made his job a lot easier and made the work look even better. The finished project looked great. The windows on the house shine, the driveway and rear patio concrete is white again and both the front and rear decks look like new as well. This was a big project and Roy with his 19 years experience handled it very well. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Roy did a great job cleaning the grime off my siding and sidewalk, and preparing the deck for painting. He went above and beyond to get the details right.

We were the recipients of a homeowners' association letter with a one-week deadline. Obviously in a hurry, I called The Hired Gun. He called back within a couple of hours and arranged to come out the next day to view the house and give us a quote. He understood and sympathized with our situation, and he was able to come out to do the work within two days of that, and for a very reasonable price. The house looks good, and the front step is now so clean that it looks strange to me; it seems to belong to someone else's house. It had simply come to look normal before, and services we'd used previously never mentioned it. Roy was friendly and helpful, and we're very happy with the service we received.

First, let me say that it's very refreshing to find someone who is so passionate about what they do. Roy was prompt in providing an estimate, thorough in his review of the property and offered a very fair price. When we decided to move forward, he was flexible with our schedule, arrived the day of the service and more than exceeded our expectations. Areas we thought we needed completely repainted look brand new. It was great to have someone as experienced to know just the right ways to not disturb things all the while providing gleaming results. Our house looks like new!

Roy was great from start to finish. He was prompt, efficient, and skilled. The stone wall and stairs are in the shade and had gotten so bad they were black and slippery when they were wet. Roy did his magic and made them look new again. I would definitely hire him next time.

Fantastic man to work with. Answered my first call in person, came out immediately to set up appointment, which was within a reasonable time, arrived on time, did excellent work. We have a HUGE driveway, and it was full in parts of dried mud, it looks incredible. We also had a large area of the 12" square red landscape tiles that form a long walkway around the house that were full of moss and grass and dirt. They look like new now. Absolutely did a first rate job. We had had just a neighbor's friend with a small pressure washer do part of our driveway just 2 years ago and it didn't look anywhere near as nice as the job Roy did today. He had very high quality equipment. Looking forward to having him to do the house (which is brick) as soon as we can afford it. His price was very reasonable and he worked very hard.

Responded quickly to my initial phone call. Phone estimate was 100% accurate and did not cost a penny more. Work was performed sooner than estimated. The house looks brand-new - Roy did not miss a single thing - entire house plus under the eaves and front stairs / entrance; every cobweb and spot of black mold is gone. No reason to look elsewhere - Roy knows how to do it right and at an entirely reasonable cost. I will hire him again next time the house needs a power-wash and won't bother with anyone else. An inexperienced person with a power-washer can damage your home, and Roy, with his many years in the business, knows what he is doing.

Very impressed by the company and the owner Roy. His over the phone estimate was in the same range as the final bill, even with the addition of having the back porch pressure washed. Very polite and professional. I'll be keeping his card in my records for later.

Roy was very responsive from the beginning to the end of the job. He returned calls promptly and is an extremely friendly guy. Very easy to work with and obviously knowledgeable about all aspects of his profession. The work was completed on time and he did an excellent job. We typically have our house pressure washed every year and the house has never looked as good as it does now. Some streaks on the gutters that have been there for years are now gone! We will definitely use Roy for all of our pressure washing jobs in the future and highly recommend him to anyone needing service.
