Description of Work: I moved into this house and heard critters in the attic above my bedroom. I put out nuts and dog food on a paper plate and the nuts were eaten within 2 days, confirming I had some kind of critter in the attic. The dog food wasn't touched. I suspected squirrels. He explained that, although there was no confirming it, I likely had flying squirrels. He pitched to me a package that was going to cost me thousands of dollars to seal off my house. In the meantime, he put large spring traps in the attic with peanut butter bait. They came back twice and the traps were all empty. They took all the traps with them on the 2nd visit and left. I spent $100 and still have no answers. I never received any photos, squirrel excluder, roof edge reinforcements, or anything. When I inquired about it, the answer was, "The only way is to seal off the entire house." I also had to ASK specifically for the 15% off to be included in the estimate, which was part of this offer. The sales guy was pushy and no help whatsoever, as long as I wasn't willing to spend thousands on the sealing of my home. |

Description of Work: They checked my attic for entry points for wildlife. They put out traps to catch any wildlife in the attic. All entry points were sealed up and they came back several times to follow up. You can't see where the work was done to seal the attic and overall I feel MayDay Pest Control is a very professional company

Description of Work: We bought an Angie's List offer for live animal trapping / removal of a family of opossum from under our deck. Mayday was really helpful.

Description of Work: MayDay Wildlife Services sent an inspector out to our home. Angel identified that there was a squirrel's nest in the attic. He also inspected for any damage the squirrels may have done. The tech, Michael, came out the next day to perform a full exclusion service by sealing the entire roofline with galvanized steel flashing and installing a door that allowed the squirrels to exit, but not return. They will soon do a follow-up inspection, remove the one-way door, and sanitize the attic. MayDay's system is much better than using traps or poison. Everyone in the company we were in contact with was professional and polite.

Description of Work: I can't add much to the previous comments made. All of the people I met were exceptional in their customer focus--a rarity today. Punctual, thorough, and professional in every way. Was it expensive? Yes. I had fought the problem with rats for a few years and thought I had fixed it myself. When they returned this winter, it was time to let the pros fix it and Mayday is a pro.

Description of Work: Mayday was professional from start to finish, in the exclusion of the squirrels in my one nest (at the apex of my 3-story roof!) and in all subsequent activities - sealing the home against further intrusions, painting any visible repairs, etc. They even complied with my one unusual request: I've heard that fox urine will deter suiirrels, as foxes are natural enemies. I mades sachet stink bombs with fox urine from a hunting store and asked them to drop them in the nesting area so that when the squirrels came back to their "home", they'd think that predators took it over. They were good-natured about my request - and did it. So far, the squirrels have not attempted re-entry. A lifetime guarantee, so I can call if the squirrels ever come back. I love them!
