They charged what they said they were going to. They checked back with me after they did the job and I was pleased with the work that they did. They were very very pleasant and nice to deal with.

At first I thought their prices were very high so I did some cross comparisons with other vendors and I found my assumption to in fact be the case. The price they initially quoted me was 3000 dollars but I had them match an 1800 dollar price for this instead. Then they sent a man out who we thought was very unprofessional and they acknowledged this and corrected the issue. Overall the product they installed worked and they did do their best efforts in making sure we were happy with the price and the people that came out. We would use them again.
Description of Work: We had trouble with rats and they came out and gave us an estimate on putting in a metal shield around the roof where there is a hole between the gutters and the house itself. We agreed on a price and they were here the better part of a day installing the new service. When they finished they threw out all the used material and junk themselves.

They responded to our need within 24 hours and measured for the metal sheeting. They came back two days later and sealed the attic. After three weeks, we were rat free!
Description of Work: They came to eradicate roof rats. They sealed the eaves of the house with metal sheeting cut into strips and any vents with metal hardware fabric the rats can't chew through. They laced the attic with traps and returned several times to empty the traps.

Had a lousy experience with TERMINEX service. Got this company from Angie's List. The reviews were OK and it was closer to my house. Called them and a sales guy came for a free estimate. Scheduled the appointment with in 2/3 days and got the job done. Overall, the contractor was good, very professional and knowledgeable. I am not sure if the price was right. Just happy that the job was done right.
Description of Work: The contractor took care of the termite action by spraying a chemical mixed with water around the house after digging a trench. Drilled holes near the front, back, and the garage entrance and sprayed the same chemicals. This chemical is supposed to be the best in the market and can keep the house termite-free for up to 10 years.

The employees from Mayday have been very professional. They included Greg Smith, who did the initial evaluation; the employees who come by regularly to do spot trap checks; the carpenters, who spent several days making needed repairs to the damaged woodwork and sealing around the house as well as the attic according to the codes in Cobb County code; and Randy, who did the termite work today. They arrived when scheduled, completed the work quickly and efficiently, picked up when the work was completed, and answered any questions I had.
Description of Work: When I came home from an extended stay out of town, I found extensive damage to eaves of my home from apparent critters. Greg from Mayday came to my house. He did a thorough inspection of the house, inside and outside, and spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me what type of rodents I had and their process for elimination. Mayday also provided the necessary carpentry service that I needed to repair the damage and seal all the areas around the home to prevent further infestation. I also had them provide my termite protection, which was completed today and routine general pest control that included fire ants. The rodent elimination is an ongoing process. I will receive a call when it is time to set up the next round of checks.

The employee who came to inspect my house didn't do a very thorough job. Although he did find some evidence of termites, he didn't point out several of the sites around my home that other companies did. He spent a good deal more time talking about his wife, kids, car, etc. Than he did telling me about termites and his proposed treatment. I felt I wasted a lot of time to find out very little.

Two men came to spray our home, one working inside and one working outside. They were fast and professional and answered all questions and concerns my wife and I had. He told us that over the next 2-3 weeks we would see more bugs as they were flushed out and died, and he was right. We even saw two dead cockroaches- something we thought we'd taken care of by ourselves! FYI: Sign up at their website and the initial visit is half price! Regular rates for an annual contract are $65 every two months.
Description of Work: Signed an extermination agreement with Mayday to control general bugs in and around our home. We've been having problems with small red bugs that were coming into our home around a window. Last year we'd had problems with cockroaches but they had disappeared.

Mayday Pest Control has eliminated our problems with spiders that were getting into the house and our trees and shrubs look wonderful now that the June bugs are gone. Mayday offers a regular treatment service and if you have problems with insects between treatments. They return and retreat at no charge.
Description of Work: We hired Mayday to take over our treatment for indoor & outdoor insects. June bugs and spiders were our biggest problem that we needed help with.

THE REP, GREG SMITH, CALLED ME YESTERDAY, SO THE COMPANY GETS WORSE THAN WHAT I EMAILED BEFORE. HE SAID, (IN A VERY DEGRADING TONE) "WHAT DID YOU MAKE ME WASTE ALL MY TIME FOR" AND HE ASKED WHO THE NEW COMPANY I CONTACTED WAS. I HUNG UP ON HIM AFTER I TOLD HIM TWICE THAT I DIDN'T LIKE HIM TALKING DOWN TO ME WITH THAT TONE. HE CALLED BACK ON MY CELL PHONE AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND MATCHED THE PRICE OF THE OTHER COMPANY- $600.00 LESS. HE WAS SURLY. I NEVER CALLED HIM BACK. I DON'T WANT ANY ONE NEAR THESE CONDOS WITH SUCH AN ATTITUDE. I WOULD HAVE TO WATCH EVERYTHING HE DID. I AM AFRAID THAT HE WOULD SKIMP, AFTER LOWERING THE COST THAT MUCH. HE POINTED OUT A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER. MAYDAY OFFERS A 10% DISCOUNT IF YOU PAY WITH A DEBIT CARD, SO THAT KNOCKS OFF ABOUT $8.40 A VISIT (SAVES ABOUT $25 A YEAR). THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
