Worst contractor experience I have ever had. Ongoing nightmare attempting to get credit card paid deposits back.
Description of Work: They only did the smallest portion of the job -WRONG- failed to show to any of the remaining work or fix what little they did do. We are disputing deposits through our credit cards. I even adjusted the dispute to allow for some labor and parts to be fair, but have had to pay another contractor to redo the work. Worst of all...THE WIFE OF DAVE FRANK, NATALIE FRANK, INCLUDED ME ON HER PERSONAL BANKRUPTCY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Estimation Process - After receiving 3 quotes, I went with Georgia Remodelling LLC. They were not the cheapest, but the project manager appeared knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with them. The work was estimated at 2-3 weeks of effort. Week 1 - Removed existing carpet and tile in shower. Put down new shower base. Week 2 - Put down tile on floor and shower. At this point I started to notice numerous quality issues that I pointed out. Many of the tiles laid had .25" lips and were uneven on multiple sides. I brought this up with the project manager and he said he would correct it and likely be done with the job by the end of the week. Week 3 - Placed most of the tile around the bathtub. Work was so horrible that I took half a dozen pictures and emailed the project manager. This is the point I started taking copious notes:Wed, 7/25/12 - Notified Scott Sibley (Project Manager) via email about defects in the shower wall. - Scott noted that the workers would resolve this. - Nothing was done. Fri, 7/27/12- At 12:00pm no one had showed up to the house to work. I called Scott Sibley and he said he would get back to me.- Scott Sibley called back in 15 minutes and said that workers would show up within 35 minutes. - Workers showed at 1pm, only stayed until 3:30pm and were yelling at each other in our home. - I called Scott Sibley at 4:48PM to discuss the worth ethic and poor workmanship. He did not return this phone call. I following up with a long email outlining some of the major flaws with the installation.- During this time frame I attempted to call the central office and was only able to get voicemail. Week 4Mon, 7/30/12- Scott Sibley came out to the house to review the poor workmanship and take notes. - Spoke to Scott Sibley that evening and he indicated that a worker would be out the following day and would work the entire day. He said the workers would focus on correcting the current mistakes. I asked when this project would be completed and he said that it would definitely be done by Friday 8/3/12. - I left another message asking when Mike would be showing up. This call was never returned. - I left multiple messages and sent faxes to the main office to try to escalate and was only able to get voicemail.Tues, 7/31/12- 8:30am Someone showed up to pick up the tile saw being used on my project to take to another project. This was completely unannounced.- I called Mike and let him know that if anyone shows up without giving us notice moving forward, we will send them away. I asked him about when someone was going to be there and found out it would be in a few hours and would be there all day. I asked for clarification on what a full day was and he defined it as showing up between 8 ? 8:30am and staying until 8pm. - The new worker showed up around 10:30am and left at 2:30PM. He realized that the work was so poor that he would need to have a team come in and remove most of the work that was done which included removing all tile from the shower and around the tub. He said a crew would come out the next day to remove everything that had been done. - I tried to call Scott and only got voicemail.- I left multiple messages and sent faxes to the main office to try to escalate and was only able to get voicemail.Wed, 8/1/12- Called Scott at 10:40AM and asked if anyone was coming out today. He said he would check what was going on and call me right back.- I called Scott at 12:10PM to get an update and got voice mail.- I called Scott again at 1:05 PM and got voice mail again.- I called Scott again at 4:14. He didn?t answer the phone but instead sent a text message saying ?I will call you back in a few minutes?- I called Scott at 5pm and it went to voice mail. - Texted to Scott at 5:03pm ?Can you just text me the number or a manager or the owner please?? · - Received a text from him saying, "They took me off your project and should of had bob call you. He is the general manager over everything. - I found the owner's email (Dave) and emailed him a long detailed message about the issues I had been having and asked him to call.Thur, 8/2/12- Received the following message from Dave "Sorry about the late response have been traveling and on the road. Signal is very poor. We are freeing up our most qualified tile men to make repairs at your project. Hope to be there Monday A.M. will keep you posted. Just trying to dispatch the proper manpower there. Thank you for your patience. Please remove your negative review until we make it right. Just need a little time."- I tried multiple times to call his cell and get a response. Current Status - Sunday 8/5/12- No one from Georgia Remodeling has called me to provide status in over a week.- I still can't get them on the phone.- I have not been able to get anyone at the main office to answer the phone.
