Excellent value, good workmanship, took a while to complete job, however, we knew it was a "fit in" job and would take time, hence the great price!

My basement was a big project and it took several months, past planned completion to finally be done. However, with that being said, the basement is now a major showpiece of my property and has added substantial value to my home. You have to be patient and Marshall will deliver. I firmly believe you can trust this company as they will complete the job on the budget with good quality. Marshall has a lot of experience, good design ideas, and a keen appreciation for what can be done and what cannot be done. Special mention to Saul Lopez, Ricardo, Joel and Wade. These guys are unbelievably talented. Marshall has a good crew with these experts on board. I would recommend them again, and I have to others seeking remodeling.

Quality of work not as expected. Job was suppose to be completed in May but wasn't completed until Sept. Very hard to work with.

Responsiveness is spotty. While workers are good, they show up intermittently.

We had our slightly covered desk turned into a fully covered gabled roof porch. The porch looks like it was built with the house and not added on later. We would definately hire MHI again and would recommend them to anyone.

We are currently about half way through this project as it is very complicated, requiring framing, electrical, plumbing. At this point I am completely satisfied with all facetts of this project.

Vision - 10. MHI took our space and transformed it. Flexibility - 10 when we saw something we wanted the response was "Not a problem" get used to hearing that. And never with a price adjustment. Quality - 10 we have. Siblings, columns, granite, stone fireplace, shower tile, theater installation, cabinets, built ins, and a mirrored custom bar to die for!

I have had a very ggod experiece with MHI Contracting. They finished my full-basement and completed it to my full satisfation. I had some ideas and drawings of how I wanted the basement to look and they made my plans become reality. All of the MHI contractors were courteous and were responsive to my suggestions. All in all I am very satisfied with the quality and service. MHI's best feature was the value of there product for the cost of the job. I believed MHI saved me 10-150k completing my basement. Thanks MHI for a job well done.

Marshall and his team are a great value. I consider Marshall a "basement genius". He can look at your space and think of creative solutions and approaches. He's ideal for a person who doesn't know exactly what they want going into it, but knows it when they see it. He typically has a lot of projects going on, so it won't be your fastest project, but if you can be patient, it's worth the wait. The quality of the work is a steal for the price.

To protect us from a long and protracted project term when asked for an expected completion date. The project started Jan 11,one week late because of inclement weather. We quickly learned that the project would take much longer because of the scheduling done by Marshall Mainard. Workers would come, perform tasks and leave; several days would pass without continuing work and we would call Marshall and workers would come. This was repeated throughout the project. It was frustrating. The projected ended 17 weeks later in May. We had an issue after the project ended; 3x after contacting MHI we got a response but not a resolution.

We are very satisfied with MHI. No complaints.

The MHI team delivered a fantastic finished basement for me. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail were top-notch. The only "knock" is that the project took much longer to complete than anticipated. In hindsight, obtaining a project plan as part of the contract, with penalties for substantial delays, would have been a good approach (this is true for any contractor). Overall, though, the finished product I received, for a great price, made the delays a bit more tolerable. I have a deck extension planned in the future and I would use MHI again.

MHI's quality of work was top notch. We had Marshall come in to complete our basement after we had started it as a do-it-yourself project several years ago and he was very accomidating on adjusting the price for the work that already had been copleted. He was very accomidating along the way with several significant changes we made to the plan and he even threw in some extras too. The project was pretty big (1300 sq ft) and was completed in a reasonable time. We couldn't be more pleased with the result.

MHI was very professional and did an awesome job on remodeling the basement. I would have given them 5 stars but the project took longer than anticipated. The basement is beautiful so I want to emphasize the quality of the workmanship was worth the wait.
