PATTERSON FURNITURE CO

My husband and I have bought about a dozen pieces of furniture from Patterson's in Lilburn over the past several years and have thoroughly enjoyed them because they suit our small house so well. Most recently, we ordered replacement cushions for a sofa we bought there about eight years ago. Through a series of mishaps (including our own) the seat cushion turned out to be too short for our sofa! Moreover, we didn't discover the mistake until several months after we received them. (It's a long story...) We were so afraid that we would have to start over and pay full price for a second set of cushions. But we called John Spearman, the salesperson we've worked with on all our purchases, and he said he would see what he could do. He first called the factory, but they couldn't help because the items we received were what had been ordered. Then he worked with the owners of Patterson's Furniture, and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. They offered to take back the "wrong" cushions to use on a sofa frame that they would buy, for use on their display floor. They also gave us a credit toward the cushions we meant to order, which left us owing a balance of around $325 (considerably less than we would otherwise have had to pay). John also made sure that the factory still had enough of our fabric in stock to remake the entire set, so they would completely match. We were so pleased, and relieved. We would have continued to buy furniture from Patterson's no matter what because we love their furniture, but it was so wonderful...and refreshing.... to find the kind of customer service that excels after the sale!
