My first encounter was with a gentleman on the phone, and he was extremely helpful and sent someone over the same day. I would use this company again without hesitation, and recommend them to others!

It took half a day to do the job. They left the area clean. They were good, easy to work with and I liked them. I'd tell my friends that they would do what they said they would do in a timely fashion.

That was fine. He installed a garage door opener for me and gave me 2 remotes. This was done timely and I have been pleased with the service.

The first visit was an estimate to repair or replace the broken door. It was determined that the garage opener was the source of the problem (The "Genie Excelerator" destroyed our door basically!), so we decided to replace it with a Liftmaster and repair the door. Two days later, the work was done. Both of the installers that came were professional and efficient. There was a slight scheduling mix-up but the manager/owner called to apologize and gave us an additional remote door opener for the inconvenience. The best part was that they gave their honest opinion on the problem and didn't pressure me to purchase a new door. Doors are expensive so I want to save up and buy the best one that we can afford. When I'm ready to replace the door, I will call them. Nothing bad to say about this company at all.

Jeremy and Kyle replaced our garage door this morning, and it went great! They were punctual, pleasant, skilled and efficient. The door looks and operates great, and we are very, very pleased. The entire experience with Georgia Garage Doors has been terrific--from the initial call with Gloria, to the estimate, scheduling and installation. These people are a pleasure to work with, and I am so glad we selected them (we had another very close estimate). I would absolutely recommend them. You will not be disappointed. A+

They came in and serviced the door. It took maybe an hour to do. The door was squeeking, and it was not doing that after they came so they solved my problem.

Everything was going well until the day of the delivery, and the delivery time slot came and went. I called and called, and finally someone answered - to tell me they couldn't get the door to me on that day. I shared my dissatisfaction in their poor service and told them not to bring the door, that I would find someone else to replace my door. They gave me an additional discount, and a free maintenance check. So, I agreed to have the door installed under those terms. The representative was very nice and handled the situation well, but it's hard to forget that kind of service. For that reason I likely will call someone else for future service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They were average. I didn't buy anything extra that they offered. They did respond and got back to me right away. I would probably use them again.

Went great. Nothing was really wrong with the door, just wanted to be sure it would continue to operate without any issues. Because of surgery, difficult to change bulbs so he handled that. Even pulled out a hammer and repositioned a strip on the manual door that was coming loose. Very pleasant, on time, called before arriving, and provided a bit of education. Cannot think of another thing I could have asked for. Angie's list as always provides the best contacts!

They actually answered when I called and were very helpful discussing types of garage door openers. (I called another company and had to leave a message but didn't get a call back until the next day. I missed that call and never received another.) I called back about 5 min after they closed, and they returned my call within about 10 min. I wanted an opener that is quiet, has battery backup, will work with Homelink in my cars, and will work with the MyQ App on my phone. They were very knowledgeable and worked with me to make sure I was happy with the price and the opener. They were scheduled to install the opener the next day (Friday) between 4p-6p, but the weather was horrible and he was running late due to traffic, etc. Justin called about 5p to let me know he was running late and said he would be at my house as soon as possible if it was okay to install after 6p. He knew my opener wasn't working and I really wanted it replaced, so he called back to say he was on the way at about 8:15p. I told him I appreciated that he was willing to install that late, but it was fine to install on Monday. He was booked for Sat but said he would try to install if possible, and I received a call Sat about 8:50a that they were on the way if that was okay. He arrived about 9:15a and was done in about 1 1/2 hours. He installed the opener, showed us how it worked, how to keep it oiled, and he cleaned up taking the old opener with him. Everyone from the people on the phone to the installers were very helpful, nice and professional. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend them. I love my new opener - it is so quiet and works great!

Everything about our transaction went smoothly. From responsiveness to pricing, to professionalism, I can't think of one negative thing. This is a very good company that prides itself on customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend them. Another Angie's List find for us!

Wayne showed up to install. He did a great job, was very polite and professional. He removed old doors and openers, replaced with all new equipment, cleaned up everything and left us with brand new doors that worked great!!

The experience was good. Everything was done in a timely manner and the job was done well.

They repaired the small trolley on the door. Once they repaired the trolley, a limiter switch mysteriously broke supposedly and they wanted to charge me to replace that as well. They showed up on time and were friendly but I did not feel like I got very good value for the money. I looked up the price of the parts and they were only $20 and $5 and they charged me $150. Next time I will try to repair myself first.

Our garage door was very old and had been running rough for quite some time, so when it quit working altogether during the January cold snap, it wasn't a surprise. We called Georgia Garage Doors late on the Monday it stopped, because of their positive Angie's reviews and because we had a coupon for $50 off. Because it wasn't an emergency--our car wasn't trapped inside--we agreed to wait until Thursday for a service call. Once Jared had a look at the situation he advised that it would be best to replace the door. He also mentioned that the gear and sprockets in the motor would eventually need to be replaced as they were wearing down, but that we could leave that until they quit completely. We decided to have everything done at once--the new door and gear & sprocket kit. Hugh came the next day. He was several hours late but had phoned to explain the hold-up. It was because they'd been overwhelmed by calls due to the adverse weather. When he arrived he got right to work and did an excellent job even though it was frigid working conditions. We chose to go with a basic, steel, insulated door, no windows, and are very happy with the results.

That worked well the first time in 2012. Then I had them come back to do the same work in 2013. The first crew that came spent a lot more time lubricating the different components of the garage door operation. I also had a part replaced. They came in a timely manner and that went well. One of the guys gave me a recommendation on where I could get a lubricant and I could lubricate the joints of the mechanism that lifts and closes the door, which I never did. But I thought it was nice that he would tell me what to buy and he told me how to apply it. Then there was another encounter where I couldn't get the door closed. I called them and they got back to me within the hour. They said they could give me a service call, but why don't I try just making sure the sensors are lined up and leaning towards each other. And when I lined the sensors up on the garage door, it solved the problem. They were punctual. They gave me phone calls of when they would be coming.

I purchased a garage service to include a 25 point inspection and roller replacements for 2 garage doors with this company. I received a follow up call immediately. As the scheduling was being considered, they realized that they did not service my area. They called me back and gave me a wonderful referral who promptly serviced our doors and matched the Angie's List deal. They followed up with an email to confirm the need to cancel the order. They apologized during all contacts for not being able to complete my order. I was impressed with Georgia Garage Door, Inc's professionalism and helpfulness by phone.
