Two different jobs that were billed together. His crew did the deck work but he subcontracted the driveway work. He was great, personable, and responsive up front, but then communication went downhill. I expected face to face time, updates and walking the job with us several times. We received none of that. He did not come out once to see us in person during or after the job until we owed him money. We had to contact him when something didn't seem right. His follow up was terrible. All communication was done by text. The deck work was adequate, not stellar. The footings were messy and look awful. A few boards and one railing were loose. For the driveway, the subcontractor left a very big mess - concrete was all over the bushes and side areas, there were soda cans and trash, and the street was filthy. The driveway itself is acceptable, but the clean up was not. And we never had a signed contract. I realize he's a small business, but he tried twice to send us a contract, there were serious errors on them, and we never did get a final one, nor did we sign one. He's a local guy who came highly recommended based on personality, and we were very disappointed.

He did a good job but I did have to ask him to come back several times to redo some things.
