Our dishwasher's motor bit the dust, so it was time to call our home warranty company, American Home Shield in order to start the repair process. This was Monday, June 3rd, so very quickly, they put us in touch with Jones Family Appliance (JFA). The same day, JFA gave me a buzz to set up an appointment, which was set for Wednesday, June 5th. They were there at the appointed time, and diagnosed the issue in a snap! The technician ordered the part, and when the part arrived at their headquarters on a Thursday, and they were out on the following Monday, bright and early. Within 1/2-hr, the technician had installed the new motor, and was on his merry way to his next call! Bravo JFA, for a job well-done, and for displaying an air of true professionalism, and terrific punctuality! In the future, should we need the aid of a great appliance repair firm, we would recommend JFA without hesitation!! Thank You!!!

The best and most honest company I have ever hired.

I don’t normally write reviews but this one was warranted. I will definitely be using these guys again. Even from the start with scheduling the appointment the communication was prompt and courteous. They were flexible with my schedule and were able to accommodate a special request so I didn’t have to reschedule. Mike arrived on time and was able to quickly diagnose the issue with my dishwasher despite some bootleg wiring work that another company had clearly done before. He was able to fix the issue of my dishwasher not running properly, and even gave me a few friendly tips regarding my dishwasher. Super helpful. 5 star service, and we will absolutely use them again. I cannot recommend more, Jones Family Appliance Repair! From the friendly, prompt and helpful Jenifer answering questions and scheduling service to Michael, the service man who is knowledgeable, kind and proficient! You can tell this is a company who cares about the service they provide and customer satisfaction. I’m new to the area but not new to using home warranty companies. When my current home warranty company, HSA, sent out Jones Family Appliance Repair for a refrigerator repair I didn’t expect too much but boy was I wrong! Jenifer scheduled my appointment quickly and Michael was on time and soon had the leak identified and repaired. When I needed service for my dishwasher a few weeks later I was sure to request Jones Family Appliance Repair and Michael came to the rescue! HSA should be happy to have this company on their list of providers and Michael and Jenifer have improved my opinion of home warranty services!

Very professional. Have used on 3 other occasions and they are always on time or call and have fixed everything they have worked on.

They were able to repair my microwave very soon after I called them. The technician was efficient and professional. He was also Very personable. I Highly recommend them amd would definitely use them again!

Special thanks to Jennifer in the office and team. My home warranty recommended this company for a second opinion after the original contractor company was a no call no show. From the start Jones was responsive, friendly, and professional. I was able to get an appointment immediately. They quickly and thoroughly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. Unfortunately my fridge was beyond repair. Sometimes these things happen. Despite not being repaired I still HIGHLY recommend the company. It’s hard to find good honest contractors but you will find that with this company. Jennifer even contacted me after hours to explain next steps. I’m so lucky to have met these guys. And even if my home warranty does not use them I will personally pay out of pocket for their service. They are that GOOD. My home warranty ultimately ended up replacing the unit but Jennifer made sure that the paper work was processed same day so that I would not have to wait. Thank you friends.

Jones Appliance is great! Super knowledgeable and have been able to repair our fridge, stove, and washing machine throughout the years. They are friendly and professional. We've had other companies come before that we couldn't communicate with, lied, and didn't have the most pleasant smells. I'd highly recommend this company.

They were great! We called them for a dishwasher repair and they came out the next day. They had to get some parts ordered but were able to come back out the same week to install parts and have our unit working again! The office was very responsive and worked with us with scheduling. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family and would definitely use them again in the future.

The Jones Appliance did a great job for us even with dealing with our home warranty company, with the HW needing to order the needed parts. Jones came as quickly as possible when the parts came in. Devin was our tech and he is so very nice and prompt and explained all that he was doing and what was wrong and how they would solve the problem. Our washer is working well now.

The service was exceptional, despite past lower-rated reviews (which I see are from at least a couple years back). I requested repairs for my dishwasher and fridge (ice maker) through American Home Shield, who assigned Jones Family Appliance. They were prompt, communicative, and handled everything professionally. The technician quickly diagnosed the issues, explained solutions thoroughly, and ordered the necessary parts. A week later, the second technician arrived within the given timeframe, promptly fixing the dishwasher. However, the fridge's ice maker repair was delayed because I hadn't defrosted it. My only suggestion is to inform customers to defrost beforehand. The next day, they returned on time and resolved the fridge issue. The entire experience was satisfying, with friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommended.

Communication was great and they fixed my washer within a matter of minutes. They also gave some tips to troubleshoot future issues. I highly recommend.

horrible They came out and said they had to order a part ! kept calling them and they said part was ordered ! Never heard from them again despite my calling and texting ! AHS finally sent out a different repair co to diagnose and fix the problem !

They came as a second opinion for American Home Shield and immediately fixed my problem. The folks that work for them are nice, responsive, and clearly communicate what they are doing. Should I have any more appliance problems with American Home Shield, I will specifically request for Jones Family

They've come out more than once through my home warranty company. When replacing the control board, they broke pieces of the handle and didn't put it back together properly. The next two times, they mis-diagnosed the problem and told me my dishwasher doesn't have a heater like most others do. I found out that was false when my dishwasher had an electrical burnout because of the faulty heater, which it did have. They didn't return emails or calls and dismissed my complaint when I tried to resolve directly with them.

Their specialty is the no-show. You sit there for four hours waiting. Once they called and said that they couldn't make it, and another time they didn't call. I complained to American Home Shield; the company (JFA) claimed they called and left me a voice mail that they weren't coming, but that wasn't true. Finally on the third attempt they completed the job. They did do the work in a quality fashion, but I got the run-around from them. Perhaps they are a victim of their own success; too many jobs to do and not enough workmen.

Thanks to this company, we have been without a dryer for 3 weeks. Told us they ordered a part, and they didn't. Still waiting...

Jones came out, diagnosed my problem and said they would have to order a clutch to fix the washer. After waiting weeks (with no washer), I finally called them and kept getting the run-around. Even later, they told me they had to come back to my house because they had the wrong part number. AHS called me later and stated they had the right part number. I asked for a replacement contractor since Jones was delaying (it had been a month at this point). I told Jones that I wanted my money refunded since they never returned to fix the washer and they were telling AHS that it was my fault. They refused and kept blaming me - the customer. They are not nice and they lie. Look at the Georgia BBB website and they did this to another customer and tried to blame it on the customer. Looks like a pattern of a bad contractor. I would advise consumers to stay away from this company. They never did return my money. I'm going to file another Georgia BBB complaint.
