"To Mr. [Member Name Removed], and future potential clients: There will be 3 parts to this response. Part 1 - Let me start by thanking you for the review, as it is the reviews that let us know where to improve. Allow me to explain the "Introductory Prices", "Ridiculous Measures",and the "Bait and Switch" sales tactic that you think was used on you. I am a young business owner trying to put food on my family's table; so, in an effort to acquire new clients.. we thought we would try a new program "Cut, Edge, Weedeat, and Blow-STARTING AT 35.00". In theory, we believed we could attract local/neighboring clients within our neighborhood at an extremely low cost. Our belief was that if we could saturate an area (perhaps my own neighborhood), and charge a "BELOW MARKET PRICE" (30% BELOW MARKET PRICE TO BE EXACT" for a standard workmanship service... we could potentially double or triple our production, provide a good service, and provide a low price to our clients(basically we tried to reinvent the wheel). This program simply failed! I mean, it was ugly! What we discovered was that we cant possibly provide these services at the listed price, maintain our reputable outstanding service, AND keep employee turn-over rate at a minimum. NOW, Mr. [Member Name Removed], that you've been informed on why this particular program failed; the reason I called you to advise you that we had to go up on our service price or terminate service, wasn't because of race! It was because we couldn't continue to maintain your lawn at our expense. Do you go to work for free? No, no one does. Neither will we, unless it is warranted. You see, maybe now you can understand that we never offered introductory prices, condone ridiculous measures, or use bait and switch sales tactics. You just happened to be on the other end of a failed program. For the record, we no longer offer this program, and the crew members that serviced your lawn no longer work for HLM. Part 2 - Mr. [Member Name Removed], it truly burdens me that my neighbor, a past client, thinks that race played a part in this situation. If you think Haynes Landscape Management is raciest... I will encourage you to investigate, if you are so inclined to do so, the fact that 44% of our reviews are of a different race than me. I will also have you know that I take great pride in customer service, and at no point do I ever look at a client, consider a service, or contemplate a decision based on race - EVER! To be totally clear.. race has never even been a thought at any point, for any reason! Part 3 - With my personal feelings aside in this part.. I truly wish you would have called, texted, or emailed me your dissatisfaction of the "blowing of the cut grass" -- as I live just a few doors down from you and would have been more than happy to walk over and finish the job that you paid for, properly and professionally. This is what we are about here at HLM, we are obsessed with customer service. However, you decide to review us on our service which I strongly encourage and appreciate! But you also decided to review us on our supposed character and morals in a slanderous and libel manner. I would appreciate the opportunity to resolve this situation with you, as it is never the intent of me or HLM to leave a customer dissatisfied with our services, or our character and morals."

"First, let me start by saying that this is not how we do business at Haynes Landscape Management! My goal is to provide a level of service where each member is "completely satisfied." Whether it is providing a fair and accurate estimate or managing their landscape at their home or business, Haynes Landscape Management has done this consistently as seen by the reviews below. We thought we were able to resolve the members concerns even though we feel that their concerns were due to an issue outside of our control. We were surprised to see the review based on our last interactions with the member. We did part ways, and agreed to separate from contract without hassle, cancelation fees, and even services that were provided by Haynes Landscape were not charged to the customer. Again, our goal is to meet and exceed expectations of each and every customer... We would love to have the opportunity to do so.
