I hired Jack and his crew to remove popcorn texture in my house in four rooms. But based upon some of the glowing reviews on this site, I must have got the "B" crew. Out of the four rooms, only one is satisfactory. In the first room, not sure what happened, but there are little pinholes over a quarter of the ceiling like the compound had bubbles that burst or something. It almost looks like popcorn in reverse though not as bad. In the second room, I can see trowel marks especially in the corners. Not being picky here, they cast shadows when the light hits them. In the third room, there are three places where you can visibly see where the screws in the drywall are and paint lap lines as well. So all in all, I need to spend more money to get these fixed and repainted. My mistake was being distracted and not thoroughly checking their work after they were done. Lesson learned.

Maybe he was overambitious but he quoted me a day's worth of work and yet about 97% of the work was completed. Granted, he did give me a sander so that I could finish up the job myself and was helpful in giving me pointers for painting and even gave me a reference for a flooring company. But I'm a happy customer nonetheless and the work he did looks fabulous.

Needs to work on customer service, the tech. Kept talking about money, and hadn't completed the job. He made my girlfriend feel uneasy with his presence.

Very friendly. He perform to ceiling repairs and now you cannot even tell there was a hole.

What I really liked about Jack was his willingness to negotiate what repairs he would do as a professional and what repairs I would do as an average homeowner, in order to save me hundreds of dollars. His repairs involved some structural issues, so I have peace of mind knowing that the repairs were done right..

Hired Jack to remove the popcorn finish on the ceilings of our newly bought home. His price wasn't the lowest but we went with him after meeting with him, learning of his experience and reading the reviews of his work on here. We could not be happier with the work he did and are glad we hired him. After seeing the work he and his crew did with our ceilings, we also had him completely redo our wooden den, and paint our children's room. Everything turned out great! Jack was very honest, professional, and timely. He and his crew completed the work ahead of the schedule. We got this work done about six months ago, back in SEP 2015, and are still very happy with the way everything turned out. Leaving this review now as I am in the process of reaching out to him to get some more work done on our home and realized I had forgotten to leave a review for this work he completed for us.

Very professionally done and he used high grade materials for the repairs.

Came to job site on time. Went over what had to be done. Worked the whole time he was here. Painted the wall after he finished the repair. Some wall repair will not paint. I had to do one little touch up with paint the next day. I was satisfied with his work.

Jack is a very pleasant man to work with. He explained everything he was doing so I could understand. He was upfont about areas in which he felt he might fall short, i.e., matching the color of new popcorn to that which has been up for nearly 15 years. He took great care with my home, carefully covering everything, even the walls. I would definitely hire Jack again and can recommend him without reservation to others.
