I work from home. The internet service went out early Monday morning and did not get resolved until after 6pm that evening. I lost an entire day of work.
Description of Work: Windstream has continual outages that last for a day or more. It is the only internet service in this area which makes it very difficult to hold their feet to the fire.

The customer service is always good, however the internet service is not great. It goes down more frequently than it should and the bandwidth available is low.
Description of Work: Windstream is our internet provider, and we upgraded our bandwidth today.

Actually, I can't remember the date of the last trouble shooting episode... The people on the phone are nice and polite and so are the service guys... They may or may not pro-rate for services not received, either way it's a hassle. For years we paid for faster service than we received... a technician mentioned our actual speed during a service... and Windstream would only refund 3 months of our overpayments? They knew the service wasn't available in our area when they sold it to me and my family across the street! Paying a higher price for mediocre services when people in nearby areas get so much more for much better pricing... it is annoying and I believe against the law! Why is Windstream allowed to have a monopoly?
Description of Work: The problem is the polite people give service dates that may not or may not include a service person coming out to fix the internet problem.
