Installers did not have the required tools the first day so it was pretty much wasted. The second day they rented the right tool but were given the wrong blade so more time was wasted going back. Later while using the right blade it broke (through no fault of their own) so they knocked off early. They took off three days for Labor Day and us with a half finished floor. The real "kicker" was the cement dust. They broadcast it over the adhesive used on the old flooring. Dust was everywhere. We are still wiping it up two months later. I admit removing the old flooring and adhesive was a nightmare of a job but i feel they could have contained the dust better had they tried. The owner of Flooring America The Mill Store Inc. in Columbus also owns the one in LaGrange. He directed us to his LaGrange store for kitchen cabinets. We paid them $13,200 on August 4, 2016 for cabinets that were to arrive the week of Sept. 19, 2016. We still have no cabinets and I've filed a complaint in small claims court in an effort to recoup our money.

We were moving into new home and needed replacement of all carpet. Eric Ward assured me the install would be complete before moving into home. The installers came on moving day! So I was paying $200 an hr for movers that were forced to wait on the installers. I contacted Eric and he told me that he had never promised me snything. He never called back or apologized. A few months later I needed 50 sq feet of carpet to match to finish a closet. He tried to charge me 4x the price per foot despite the price on carpet was in store and unchanged! He said if he didn't charge me more then he wouldn't make any money. I inquired how he could advertise a price in the store and then ask 4x for it. He said I could leave and he didn't have to sell anything to me! He finally agreed to sell the piece of carpet but told me never to come back. He called me names and was very intimidating. At one point I feared he was going to get physically abusive. I would've contacted the manager- but HE is the manager. Please stay away from Eric Ward!

Eric Ward was the salesperson. He was knowledgeable of his products and was quick and punctual to come to our home to measure our living and dining room. We were having two upstairs bathroom renovated and we explained we would have to call for the installation date after the other work was complete. It was six weeks or so when I called to arrange installation. The first available installation date was several weeks out . On the Friday before the following Monday installation date we were contacted and told the installation crew could not be here until Tuesday. We were told the installers were not able to finish the install they were working on Friday and needed to finish that job Monday. We did not have a problem with the additional day wait and even we were glad to hear the installers would finish a job that ran over the allotted time scheduled. We moved all but the three largest pieces of furniture out of the rooms and I made sure that to be up and dressed before 7:30 am. I waited until 10:30 a.m. And my husband called Eric to find out what time the installers would be here. He did not get Eric but left him a voice mail. Eric returned the call a little while later and left my husband a voice mail that the installers would not be able to come until Thursday 21. It seems the prior Friday 27 job was now going to take until Wednesday to complete. Since my living and dining rooms were cleared of the furniture, I was sequestered up in my bedroom until we could put the furniture back. I called my painters who were coming Wednesday to paint those rooms and rescheduled them until Friday. I then wrote an e-mail to Eric Ward explaining my concern that not only did I question the explanation given - a job scheduled for one day was now going to take four days to complete - and also how I expected better from him than installers just not showing up and no one could even call and let us know. I also explained that should the install not be done on Thursday we would be by for a full refund. There was no response at all to the e-mail. On Thursday about 9:30 am I called Eric to find out where the installers were. He said they were picking up the material and would be here as soon as they were loaded. The installers arrived about 11:15. They did complete the work Thursday and the floor looks very nice. The installers were nice and obviously had experience in installing hardwood floors. We still have not received any contact from Eric. I would have thought he would have at least called after the install to make sure we were happy with the finished floor but I thought wrong. We had previously had Flooring America supply and install our kitchen vinyl floor a couple of years back. On that job they performed as expected. That is why we may use them again in the future but not to install wood flooring. And we would most likely ask for a salesperson other than Eric Ward, the store manager.

We ordered the service around 3/7/15.  The service was completed on 6/24/15.  It took 3 months to be installed!
We made the huge mistake of paying for all the service up front.  Once we paid them we never heard back from them.  I had to constantly call them to find out what was going on.  I would advice anyone else who wants to purchase services from Flooring America to only pay for the material upfront.  Do not pay for the installation until the job is complete.
It took 3 to 4 weeks for them to get all the material and line up the installation crew.  We were originally told 2 weeks to start installation.  One reason for the delay we were told is the wrong material showed up.
The installation of the carpeting and vinyl went well It took them about 2 days to do it.  But someone neglected to order the threshold molding.  It took another 2 months of constant calling to get that installed.
It took 1 month before they did the initial install of the threshold molding.  Reasons for the delay was finding the right color to match the vinyl.  You would think they would have that correct threshold colors to match the colors of vinyl they offer.  Then we were told they needed to order something special because the tile in our foyer was laid on top of old tile so it was higher than normal.  I don't see any difference in that threshold molding and the other threshold moldings they installed.
Then they also discovered when they installed the thresholds that they didn't have enough material.  The installers told us they would have to get more from the LaGrange office and would have it done the next day.  Well a month later, again after constant calling, they sent out a crew to install that.
And every time I would call the person we dealt with at Flooring America I was told to give him a day and he will let me know what is going on.  He would never, ever return my calls.  I would have to call him back the next day.And worse, the person I was dealing with was the store manager!!!

rinSalesman was wonderful to work with, came right out to house and measured. He let me know what the cost was with in ten minutes his returning to the store. Installer did a great job and did everything I asked of him. The t modeling had not arrived by the day they were scheduled to come. Make sure they have everything as it took a week to finally get the t modeling installed. Over all it went quiet well. I will 100% consider using them when we change out other flooring. So I highly recomend Flooring America store in Columbus, Ga.
